- The cast performs various crazy stunts for our amusement.
- A reality show about a group of stunt men & extreme sport enthusists with high thresholds of pain. Each show consists only of videotapes of them performing stupid and dangerous stunts--standing in a porta-potty while it's turned upside-down, wrestling a bear while wearing a bear costume, and pretending to kidnap Brad Pitt.
- This reality television series is just painful to try to watch. Every episode is just a bunch of juvenile idiots performing a bunch of crude and insanely wild stunts. Some of the stunts honestly had me gagging and about to throw up because they were just so disgusting. This show is most definitely not for the weak stomached! Steve-O, Johnny Knoxville, and Chris Pontius are all clearly certifiable in this TV show 😂. And I DO NOT think this show is funny at all, it's really just difficult to watch and get through an episode. I will say this, Steve-O was kinda sexy in his speedo, I will give the show that, but that's really the ONLY part of Jackass I enjoyed, the rest is just stupid, gross, cringe worthy stunts and pranks performed by this crazy group of men. 2/10 for Jackass, because of the speedo party boy segment, only reason I didn't give it a 1/10.
- Jackass is still the best extreme show ever. Better than Dirty Sanchez, Wildboyz or Viva La Bam, although those are good as well. It's not good only because there are cool stunts in it, but it's also very funny, and there is good friendship between the guys. I guess it's clumsily shot at times, but that comes with the whole "reality" thing, I guess.<br/><br/>There have been extreme videos before Jackass, most notably in the skateboarding world. But this is still the show that brought extreme to mainstream.<br/><br/>I mentioned other shows that are part of the whole "extreme" phenomenom, and good series in their own right. The reason why Jackass is better than any of them is the fact that it's incredibly varied. Instead of doing more or less the same thing again and again, the guys were really inventive and tried as many different stunts as possible. <br/><br/>Highly recommended.
- Like all the previous videos, easily-copyable scenes needed to be removed for its release in the UK. One scene at the beginning of the video shows that Steve has always enjoyed getting choked till unconsciousness, even as a teen. Similar to the third one, especially the younger audience shouldn't watch that because it's not the healthiest thing one can do to the brain / the brain cells so it got removed. Furthermore, there's a little recap to that scene at the end. It got removed as well - for obvious reasons. And contrary to the Don't Try This At Home trilogy (at least the German releases contains the uncensored US-Versions), there's no uncensored European release available. The German DVD with additional German, French and Dutch subtitles contains is identically censored - the same in France and the Netherlands. a5c7b9f00b
