- We have a unique position that will require a wide variety of skills.
- This role will require:
- - Maya expertise
- - Hardsurface modeling
- - Character modeling
- - Texture painting
- - Creative direction
- - Product management
- - Experience working with remote or outsourced artist and external assets
- - Tools development (scripts, automated workflows, asset management)
- - Marmoset (or similar render preview tool) experience
- - Unreal Engine experience
- - Unity 3D experience
- - CryEngine experience a plus
- - VFX experience
- - Design experience
- - End to End implementation of art assets from UI elements to rigged and animated characters into a game engine
- This role will require someone who is able to make their own high quality assets but also understand how to review and fix other artist's assets which may not meet the standards we've set for inclusion into our marketplace. Which is code for, someone who loves solving problems.
- The right candidate will have a strong business sense and have a passion for growing and innovating the product (make.game), helping indie developers, and pitching new ways to expand the business (Madison Pike).
- What is Madison Pike / Make.game?
- A game development resource and asset library that is focused on making game development more accessible by providing high quality assets at affordable prices while also providing tutorials, guides, articles, videos, and other material to learn new skills or hone existing ones.
