Thank you for contacting Rakuten Kobo Customer Care.  We are more than happy to assist you with the steps to reset your Kobo Account password.

If you know what your password is and simply wish to change it, then proceed with the below steps.  If you’ve forgotten your password, then scroll down to the Forgot Your Password? Section.

1. On your web browser, visit  http://www.kobobooks.com.
2. If you haven’t signed in already, click on the profile icon (the head in the green circle) and select Sign In.
3. From the same profile icon, select My Account from the drop-down menu.
4. On the My Account tab, you will see the Change Password section on the left side.  Enter you current password, the new password, and confirm the new password again in the boxes provided.
5.  Click on Save.  You password will be changed to the new one you selected.

Forgot Your Password?

1.  If you are signed in to your account, but do not know your password and need to change it, click on the profile icon (the head in the green circle) and select Sign Out.
2.  Click on the same icon, and select Sign In from the menu.
3. On the sign-in screen, you will see the Forgot password? link beneath the password box.  Click the link.
4. Fill in Kobo Account email address and click Submit.
5. An email will be sent containing a link to reset your password.

Please note that this link is time-sensitive and it will only last for five hours. If the link has expired by the time you attempt to reset your password, simply repeat the steps above and a new link will be emailed to you.

Rohan: That is how you change your Kobo Password.
