To Catch a Cat

One hour to go, he was running low on time before he would switch over and the effects were starting to show. Pressing his back against a wall in a dark alley he clutched his head with his left hand, it wasn't painful, just mentally exhausting to say the least. It foolish for him to dose off in the forest, he might not even find her within the hour, it was risky to say the least. Pressing himself off the wall he quickly exited the dark alley trying to look around. The young Nara closed his eyes trying to focus on where the petite young girl would run off to. Did Konohagakure have any sweet dealing stores? Ideally that would the best to search, so of course he did such that.

Opening his eyes once more, Kazamatsuri Sho ever so slowly searched every store as he walked carefully down the main street in downtown Konohagakure. It was rather difficult to find such a place, but his vision was going blurry over time due to the time remaining. His movements slowing down, energy no longer coursing through his body, which was probably why he usually slept the final hours away; it was just a natrual reaction.

"Where did she go?"

Continuing to search the windows of every store he could, he finally came to a halt. Kazamatsuri Sho had reached the end of the shops, well on this particular street. Shaking his head he knew he couldn't linger on to long, every second was precious to say the least. Turning on his heel, he continued to walk back up the busy street, finally spotting a store. Peering in he couldn't view anything very well due to the items in the window, but he expected he would hear her voice if she was in such a store? He didn't hear anything, a heavy sigh emitted from his lips as he slid down onto the ground.

The young Nara had only an hour to look and he couldn't find the petite girl. This wasn't a very good sign, they had only just entered the village. Shaking his head once more he tried to stand up, but couldn't find the energy. A thin smirk appeared on his lips as he gazed up, soon the smirk vanished into a blank facial expression. Gazing upwards towards the sky he let out another small sigh.

"Yuii, where are you?"

The sunshine played one the many coloured roofs of Konoha and Yuii wondered over them. Konoha was a different kind of beautiful from Kumogakure; Kumo had lots of stone where as Konoha had lost of wood in their buildings for starters. The colours were different too, Konoha was might greener and Kumo was pretty pale colours. In the summer Kumogakure was extra beautiful though, everyone in the lower district grew gardens on their stone roofs so the everything smelled of flowers. here is must smell like green things always, a nice treat for now but people here probably didn't appreciate their warm days as much.

She did like the carvings she saw though and every once in awhile she would run across something that would job her memory. Like the gates, there were places in the street the reminded her of Joji and her last stay in Kumogakure but her child's memory was fuzzy. Sometimes just to remember she had to make up stories, like the day the tiger was taken from her.

Yuii had indeed gone searching for sweets, and information. The child hadn't wanted to pull Kaza into her quests she she had allowed the busy streets of Konoha to separate them early on and she had been wandering ever since. Misplaced, she called herself when someone asked is she was lost, because Yuii wasn't. Kaza didn't know where she had gone but she was certain they would find one another before the end of the night plus she knew where she was so she wasn't lost.

She found the company of a strange man with a map but left him fairly soon.

Eventually she found the familiar stoop of the hotsprings and after hesitating for a long time finally went in. The lady for her memory was still the same and she remembered Yuii well. It made her happy to talk to someone about Joji and, after giving her some specifics of her plan and asking lots of questions Yuii moved on.

Sweets, oddly coming second, were found relatively easily. There were lots of shops for sugars, not surprising when the youngsters in any ninja village made pretty good money. Yuii had some of her own and soon enough she had three pieces of Cake packed into her belly and a fourth waiting to be devoured.

That was about the time Kaza peered into to window. He looked really tired and kind of annoyed and Yuii immediately had the feeling she was going to be in trouble. He didn't seem to see her, which was strange, and so she hopped down from her chair and ran for the door to catch him.

"Kaza-sensei! are you ok?" She called, half sticking her body out the door then hurriedly opening it all the way to let some people by her. Biting her lip she glanced back at the piece of cake then at Kaza, "Kaza-sensei,  I have cake, can I eat it before we go?"

Closing his eyes, he heard a small familiar voice. A small wave of relief seemed to course through his body, it was just a relief in general she was nearby. Nodding her head at the comment he continued to lean his back against the building in which she came out of. Time was running out for him, well it wasn't as dramatic as he was making it seem, but he needed to at least get up off the ground right? Standing up he looked at Yuii with a weak grin he nodded once more as he held the door open for her to go back into. Assuming she would walk back in, he would go in behind her, taking his steps ever so slowly.

Sitting down he let out a soft sigh as he tried to smile towards her, but he was having great difficulty doing such a thing. The young Nara was short on time and the last couple of hours did this to him every time it happened. Reaching his hand out, Sho gently patted her head lightly, as if he was apologizing was leaving her in the first place. Lightly picking up a random eating utensil, the young medical shinobi lightly took a bite from her cake, sticking his tongue at her lightly. Crossing his arms he looked at her and let out a small sigh.

"I apologize for losing you, have you been good Yuii?"

Closing his eyes once more he tilted his head downwards, resting lightly. There wasn't much going through his mind at this moment, he was just letting time run down. He needed only to sit still for the next remaining time of the hour and he would change back into Harunabe Kaza. Opening his eyes lazily he smiled back over at Yuii. He hoped she would remember what he told her before he entered the gates of Konohagakure.

"I'm sorry, I already said that didn't I? I promise I won't leave you again. I got only a little time left before I switch."

Lifting the utensil into the air once more, he lightly took another bite of the cake, a smile still on his lips. Tilting his head to the side ever so slowly, the young Nara continued to gaze at her, but he felt his mind beginning to slip away from him. How would Yuii react to Harunabe Kaza, hopefully things would be okay for the next two days.

I was only misplaced, I went looking for things. There was a man with a map, he spoke like a Kumo-nin and was very nervous. He bought me ice cream and corrected himself a lot. I was good." Yuii answered idly while twirling her fork. She had eaten so many sweets now that she didn't protest Kaza's cake theft but wrinkled her nose playfully back at him.

She took a bite from the other side, cutting it away tactically to slow Kaza's advance on her sweet. She was, after all, allergic to boys and Kaza had once been a boy too. He could still have the germs, she needed to be careful of those. It never really occurred to her that each time she held his hand or rode on his shoulders she caught just as many germs, there was just something different about sharing food.

Letting the piece sit in her mouth she watched Kaza. He didn't look well at all, like he had been training for days and could really use a sleep and some of her sister's carrot soup. Carrots were good for adults, she knew that much, just as cake was good for children.

None the less she was worried about him as she might be for anyone visibly deteriorating in front of her. Her little brows furrowed together as she tried to decide if her grass had maybe had some terrible side effect or the trip down from the mountains had given him a cold. She had all but forgotten about the secret he had told her on the mountain side. She knew with the strange aura around him meant now but it didn't seem to her that switching dominate spirits would be difficult on the body.

So she jolted a little from his reminder and her bashful grin was the telltale sign of her poor ability to piece things together. She took another big bite of her cake and tried not to sound too guilty as she admitted, "I got lost on purpose Kaza-sensei, so it's my fault. I knew we'd find each other when we needed to, my Auntie says that the world is funny like that anyhow."

She took a much larger bit then, suddenly determined to finish her cake quickly. She hewed animatedly then went for another bite, "You need to go lay down Kaza-sensei."

A small grin appeared on his face as he noted the playful gesture from her. Everything seemed to feel rather fuzzy to be honest. With a small yawn he leaned forward and took another piece of cake from the opposite side of which he had been eating. Closing his eyes he smiled softly, it was just a simple relief he had found the young girl. Opening his eyes he began to see something else, something that wasn't there before. A young girl wrinkling her nose at him, it wasn't Yuii he was seeing before him, someone else. Hitsuji, she sat in front of him and he just continued to stare, the young Nara unable to really do anything.

Blinking his eyes ever so slowly, a wide grin formed on his lips as he reached his hand out towards where Yuii was a moment ago, where Hitsuji appeared in front of him. Placing his hand along her cheek he closed his eyes. Sho knew he was seeing things, he would have loved to be asleep so he could avoid such hassles as this when he reverted back to Harunabe Kaza, but it couldn't be helped today to say the least. The scenery around him seemed to change, he was no longer inside, but outside.

"I missed you."

Words he wished didn't leave his lips, he knew they shouldn't have. That his mind was playing tricks on him, but he couldn't help but fall victim towards them. With a small shake of his head he leaned himself back, not realizing how much closer he gotten. Letting out a sigh he looked up before looking back at where Yuii was, she slowly appeared in front of his eyes once more. The grin still on his face, but it decreased slightly.

"I should lay down, but I am fine. You should tell me next time you plan on getting lost on purpose, even if your aunt told you that people seem to find each other, sometimes they d-"

Kaza found himself staring at Yuii. He had been moments before, but wasn't in control of his body. Sho had stopped talking and didn't utter the rest of his sentence in his mind, he was probably resting at this point. Leaning back against the chair, he gently placed the utensil down onto the counter before looking back at the young girl. Resting his hands on the palms of his hand, the young medical chief let out a small yawn, as if just waking up. Within another moment or so, he crossed his arms and held his finger out towards her.

"Kaza-sensei says good night."

Yuii stared at Kaza, her blue eyes widening as she suddenly reached out and touched her. She wasn't used to physical affection anymore, it was obvious in the way her back went rigid and she bit her lip. Kaza didn't look well, he really didn't but Yuii wasn't sure what she was supposed to do right now.

"I was only gone the day." She answered, her voice annoyed from panic. That seemed to break Kaza out for whatever had effected him and the feeling of his affection became what it was meant to be. She was on the verge of lecturing him when he cut her off then cut himself off.

"I always find them," Yuii disagreed quietly, watching with interested as Kaza's body swallowed up the spirit that had been imposed on it. Another one replaced it but it had the righted aura and feel of a living person; this was the man that was supposed to be controlling this body.

Strange how the world worked, even the handful of people Yuii felt comfortable with were linked to the spirit world in some way or another. She could see it in their face's as the strange disconnect that came from not quite living in the now. Sometimes it was loss and the inability to let go of a loved one who, quite often, hovered on the brink of hysteria as they watched their mother or once lover follow after them. There were the ones who were fascinated by the dead, the type of person she had played at being with the strange man. They searched out ghosts and longed after the life beyond without living properly in this one. In most cases ghosts resented these people, because while visits were nice in a graveyard it felt like their existence was a child's playtime.Now there were people like Kaza and Tsukiko; Spirits that were trapped in fleshy bodies. Kaza shared but Tsukiko was something else entirely and yet she could manage to get along with them both to a point. Lastly were the people like her but Yuii had never met one to say they got along.

"You turned gray," Yuii observed awkwardly, poking at her cake until a piece crumbled off. She could understand now why Kaza would feel worried about telling anyone about his changing; this was kind of awkward and at least she could watch the change. If she had been normal. No, if she was as normal as he thought she was then it could have been really odd, he might expect her to think he was playing tricks on her. After all, while their mannerisms might change their face and voice did not.

She watched him, watched his fork to see if he would eat anymore cake, watched his face to see if he would make the same expressions and watched his hands to see if he made the same gestures. "What... do we do now..."

The medical shinobi glanced to the side. This was probably the first time he had actually spoken to the young girl directly, instead of watching from the eyes of the other. It was quite awkward to say the least. Pressing a finger to his lip, he noted how he just had eaten from the same cake as the young girl, a small red flush ran across his face for a moment as he looked at the utensil Sho had used. He knew he shouldn't be flustered, but to him Yuii was a stranger despite how much he had seen of her. With a small sigh he glanced up at the ceiling and back down to her.

"Tell me, how do you put up with him? I'm not sure how I even can at times."

Kaza's conversation was meek at best. With a small shake of his head, he ran a hand through his raven black hair, he was unsure of what to say at this point. Closing his eyes, the medical shinobi finally bit his bottom lip in turn and looked back at her before saying another word. In fact he held his tongue for quite sometime. Kaza would open his mouth from time to time, attempting to say something but found it quite difficult to actually say anything. Tension, it seemed to be filling the air to say the least.

Crossing his arms he continued to stare at the girl as she said something about him becoming gray. He tilted his head to the side for a moment, confused by her words, but decided to shrug it off for now. With a small nod of his head, he figured it was better to just agree with her for the moment. Perhaps she meant his attire? That was true to say the least, but no matter. Shaking his head he finally decided to speak once more.

"I heard that you are his favorite student, in fact he tells me about you all the time. You must be fairly special to him if he can talk about you so much."

Half was a lie, half wasn't, however it was enough to hopefully produce some type of idol chat. It would be awkward if he never got to know Yuii personally himself, it could make there relationship in generally very odd to say the least.

Yuii watched the nervous way he moved and realized that while Kaza-sensei didn't really belong in this man;s body he was the dominate personality of the two. She was a strong personality too, Wisp said that was why she dealt with everything around her so well but Yuii couldn't understand how you would deal with it differently. It wasn't like she had any other option, not like this man.

Which might have explained how it was possible for him to share his body. This man was just the type to sit aside and allow someone else to run his live for a time despite the repercussions of doing do. Never mind that in giving a dead man a chance to live, the gray Kaza was giving up his own precious time.

The young, Auntie said as if knowing her train of mind, did not understand their time was limited. Fine words from a women who could have lived a thousand years or more if not for tragedy Wisp said. So while Kaza sat in silence Yuii listened to the two women behind him argue about theory and the importance of life, hardly hearing a word of it.

"He's my sensei," Yuii answered, pausing in her cake eating to shrug. There wasn't much more of it left, that was just how it went with cake, but she was eating slowly to save herself the 'what do we do now' answer. What indeed.

The pair had moved on to discussing the theory behind why Kaza could hold two souls. Rituals, seals, compatibility, chakra types, jutsu gone wrong, curse, chance, fate or bad luck, they couldn't decide. Wisp went about poking and prodding at him to see if he could feel it and Auntie waves her hand in front of his eyes but when neither solicited a response they ruled of an affinity with the dead.

"He doesn't see," she mumbled under her breath, the way she commonly did when Nekomimi was in her lap bit for now the doll was still packed away. Wisp nodded, she looked worried now and Auntie just clucked and told her to be nice.

Nice... nice...how were you nice when trying? "Whats your favorite way to sleep?"

Continuing to look at the young girl he chuckled lightly at the fact that she responded with such a simple answer. Crossing his arms lightly continued to look at her till he heard a single phrase, 'He doesn't see.' What did she mean by that? What didn't the medical shinobi see? Perhaps it was a type of feeling? Perhaps it was just the awkward tension? It was hard to tell to say the least, with a small sigh he looked at her and frowned for a moment.

"What don't I see? I guess I don't see the relationship between you and your sensei, it is quite cute though."

Little did he know he wasn't even remotely on the same page as her. With a small nod of his head, he continued to look back up at the ceiling, taking in the next question at hand. What was his favorite way to sleep? To be honest, ever since he merged with Sho he hadn't slept much when he was in control of his body, in fact he tried to sleep as much as required for one to function to say the least. It was safe to say the Sho slept enough for the two of them. Yes, that was something he knew was a truthful statement.

"I think Kaza-sensei sleeps enough for the both of us really. He is quite lazy when you're not around him and when he's not flirting of course. He can be a pain sometimes, don't you agree?"

Harunabe Kaza's mind seemed to wander off to the part where he didn't understand. There were quite a few things he didn't still understand about Sho and a lot he didn't know about Yuii, so there was a wide variety of things that he could guess at. It was true he was always watching through his eyes most of the time, but to be honest he chose not to pay attention and let his mind enter a sleeping like state so he wouldn't be bothered, it seemed Sho did the same. It was more or less an unspoken privacy the two shared, that was the best way to put it to say the least. The medical chiefs eyes widened lightly as many things pinged through his mind, he leaned forward and looked at the young girl.

"I hope by I don't understand that the two of you have some special relationship. I knew he was awfully keen towards you, but not that extreme..."

Leaning back in the chair he nodded his head at the conclusion. To be honest it was half serious and half wasn't. If this was truthful, he couldn't say he would be horribly shocked by such a thing considering whom he was referring to. Then again he just wanted for the young girl to relax slightly, but on second thought that was probably the wrong way to go about such a thing.

"No... not that" Yuii answered quietly, studying her own hand shyly. Kaza has been honest with her about his two selves but she was still afraid to tell him about her powers. Now she was stuck with a stranger, wanting to talk about her plans and yet unable to. It felt really strange and lonely. She hunched her shoulders forward a bit so that she almost seemed to be folding in on herself.

This new found shyness in Yuii was strange for her and it was obvious she was troubled. As she played with the edges of the table cloth and traced their patterns she mumbled to herself a little more. Well, not to herself but to her Auntie who was now kneeling beside her speaking encouraging words. Maybe this Kaza was even nicer than the last, she had to give him a chance. maybe he was just like the other Kaza, maybe they didn't get along because of that. her answers were mostly monosyllables though, nothing that deserved answering

"Do you not like Kaza-sensei? You keep saying bad things about him," she said finally, peaking up through the fringe of her bangs. that was the second time he had called Kaza a pain, it was kind of silly.

She watched him think, because even that was kind of different. She pressed her cheek against her shoulder thoughtfully when he asked about a relationship like that and wondered what he even meant. Auntie seemed mortified and Wisp immediately barked that was impossible so Yuii guessed it was a bad thing. "No, he's just my Sensei." she answered finally, staring off into the distance. There was an older girl buying a younger one ice cream and she wondered how her sister was. Could she even talk about her sister with him?

Her eyes glazed over slightly as she watched them chat. Everything was bright and sunny from the late afternoon light and the old interior of the shop made it really very comfortable. Yuii had chosen to sit in a corner out of habit, because that was where Nii-chan had always insisted on being. Those two didn't look them her sister or her but she could remember riding on he Nii's shoulders on warm sunny days and insisting on ice cream too, that seemed kind of far away now. There was a third person, a man that fretted over the two but he was about as real as her Auntie. He seemed grounded on the little girl and content to mostly watch and fret.

"Such a diligent papa" she mused out loud, continuing to watch but to Kaza there would only be the two girls and the child's hat would do a very good job of staying on.

Kaza merely nodded his head as he looked about the room. He noted how Yuii seemed to have some fascination with the table cloth, her hand, and various other objects around her. Perhaps this was normal for a child of her age, he couldn't blame her for being herself, in fact it would be nice to just be able to do whatever he wanted without fear of others judging him to harshly. A question was brought to him, did he dislike Sho, Kaza-sensei to her. No, not so much. It wasn't that the real Kaza disliked Sho in any shape or form he just didn't seem to understand him at times and this caused for a slight problem. Finally, Kaza shrugged his shoulders.

"It's not that I dislike him at all, it's an odd relationship to say the least. One morning he wasn't there and another he was sealed into me. In the beginning I was against having days to where we were in control, but I'm okay with it now."

Smiling softly, his gaze drifted off to where a couple of other figures seemed to linger. Perhaps she wanted some ice cream as well? It might slightly open her up to him in general. Usually to most children he wouldn't expect them to tell the difference, perhaps there was one with there voice? Considering Sho dwell from Kirigakure, he probably had a different accent about him than an average citizen from Kumogakure. Finally he pushed the thought to the side before getting up and walking over towards the vendor. Turning around he held a small cone in one hand and lightly stretched his arm out towards Yuii, hopefully she would accept it.

Harunabe Kaza wasn't the best at handling children, but he had more than enough experience with teaching classes back at the academy; however he knew she wasn't just an average young girl, the Raikage looked out for her in some sense. There would be a load of explaining to do when they returned, whenever that may be.

"Is there anything you wish to do in Konohagakure?"

"Oh, okay," Yuii answered, flicking her eyes toward Kaza then returning them to the trio. She was wondering now if her sister was okay. By now she was probably really happy with Ren-nii, they had really liked each other so it was likely they were together by now. Then again, this was her phobic sister she was thinking of, her sister was scared of just about everyone in her life and she acted mad to keep them away. Maybe she would have yelled at Ren or made him bad, Yuii knew that her Nii-chan made even her a little mad sometimes but as her sister said; men could choose to leave.

"Everybody loves the same," Yuii mused aloud. The pair and their ghostly follower passed out of sight and left her it turn her head band that sat around her neck in her hands. She stared at the symbol for several moments, trying to figure out what she liked about it and why she was proud to wear this type and not the type everyone in leaf had. "Everyone should wear the same kind, that would be fair."

Yuii lifted her eyes only to be met with an ice cream held out just for her. She hadn't even noticed Kaza had gotten up, the others were scolding her too for not listening. Blushing just a little she pushed herself to standing and went to take the ice cream cone. "Thank-you Kaz- Thank-you" After sever pieces of cake and two ice cream cones that day, this wasn't what she needed but Yuii wasn't about to argue free ice cream.

He asked her if she wanted to do anything and that pulled a very animated sigh from Yuii. Kaza knew the mission, at least the other Kaza knew what she was going to do so why didn't this one? Did they not warn each other at all? "I did lots today, lots n lots but I still dunno where I have to go or what I have to do or if my Jo-nii is here. It's really hard work, harder than taking naps and-." She pouted cutely and went to eating her ice cream. This was just difficult.

It seemed she was distracted by the group over on the other side, but it was fine. He wasn't be particularly entertaining at this very moment, nor was he sure he would. Though one thing happened that made him tilt his head to the side, the young girl flushed a shade of red for a moment. Thinking back he wasn't sure if she had ever done that, even though he watched when Sho was in control. Everyone loves the same was an odd thing to say, but a small smirk appeared on his lips as he leaned forward lightly looking at the young girl.

"I suppose Kaza-sensei was right about getting you icecream, he said it would cheer you up. He knows more about you than me, I guess he really does find you special. Oh you're quite welcome."

Finally he nodded his head and noted her last statement. To her she was talking to an almost complete stranger, but wasn't at the same time, it was very hard to describe to be honest. Crossing his arms, the young medical chief finally stood up and walked over to the young girl. Holding out his hand, he had watched Sho do it many times, why would she refuse to take his hand now? It was still the same hand, just a different voice right? It was poor logic, but it would have to do for now.

"Let's go take a look around, maybe we can find something that might help you, er find interesting."

Smiling softly he waited to see if she would take his hand or stroll beside him. Opening the door the medical shinobi lightly held the door open. Kaza knew she probably would tag along, but he wasn't sure how he was going to deal with the petite child, he could feel an odd tension between them. The only plus was that this was with a child, which is where his thinking process would probably bite him in the rear. Sho had told him not think in such a manner when with her, but he couldn't help it.

"Why do you keep saying that? I'm his very favorite student, even you should know that." Yuii answered sourly, scowling at the impostor Kaza. She didn't understand at all what he was getting at but she also didn't like that she was so predictable. She really liked sweets, no she REALLY liked sweets and was more than willing to let even strangers but her something but having it pointed out made her feel annoyed and kind of angry. She didn't understand why, she should have been happy to have her sweet and thankful to him but now she was upset.

So it was only natural for her to scrunch her face up when he held out his hand like some sort of Kaza copycat. Yuii started to reach for it like she would normally then as her brain clicked and reminded her of the change there was a flash of real pain. But it was gone fast and left Yuii with crossed arms and a cute pout instead, "You're not my Sensei." She said with no regard to how it would make Kaza feel but then it was obvious she was close to a tantrum.

People often forgot that for children change could be much harder. Yuii seemed so well adjusted most days that the idea that she could get frustrated and inconsolable never passed most adult's minds. Except that Today she had finished a long travel, wandered a whole village, visited with old friends that cried to be reminded of her Jo-nii and finally eaten a lot of sweets. She was still small and so while her stamina was great it was probably time for a nap.

She did follow him though, mostly out of habit but a little because she didn't want to be misplaced right then. Yuii wasn't sure where they were supposed to sleep that night and so she needed to find out as much. Not that she, keeper of a dozen beds and more couldn't have curled up on even a bench right then and napped just fine.

Yawn.

She had been fine not twenty minutes before, even going independently roving around leaf as if she owned the village. As she followed Kaza outside it felt scary and lonely. There was no Kaza-sensei to find, this person was different and she couldn't be certain he would protect her like the other might have. It was about emotional support, it just seemed to be kind of gone for that moment. No one had ever been unavailable to her before, sleeping people could always be woken up and the dead had always remained one plea away.

"I searched really hard by myself, I dunno if you would be better." Yuii said skeptically as she followed. There wasn't really much positive coming out of her mouth now was there. "Do you even know where we're going?"

The smile faded from his lips as he only nodded his head at her comment. He was not the Kaza-sensei she knew, but it was still slightly comical in some way. The only real thing that made this alright was that fact that she was following him, but he knew it was going to be a rough at best. Perhaps he could awaken Sho for a moment to say a quick word, he knew he was exhausted because he didn't follow his normal routine and sleep the final bit off, so would he even respond? Was he worried, slightly, simply because it was unlike him to do such a thing. A small chuckle issued from his lips, he was worried about Sho, definitely a sign he was probably going insane.

Do you have a moment to speak with her?

Nothing but silence issued in his mind. Pausing in his tracks for a moment he let out a small sigh, perhaps he was truly that tired. Finally a soft yawn issued in the back of his mind as a voice spoke up, agreeing to do so and calling him a hassle. Turning around, Kaza lowered himself to Yuii's height before looking at her for a moment and taking a deep breath.

"Kaza-sensei wants to talk to you for a moment, he has less than a moment because of how tired he is."

A small smile formed on his lips as he looked at Yuii, placing his hand onto her head, lightly ruffling her hair for the umph time. His eyes barely managed to stay open, but he managed to have them open enough. It probably wasn't the best idea to have him come out and speak for a moment, after all he had just switched back moments before. Leaning closer his voice barely above a whisper he began to speak.

"Try to get along with him Yuii. I know he is odd, but I'll be back soon. I won't make you wait long, I promise."

Leaning forward he pressed his lips against for forehead for a moment before standing up once again, though he looked horrifically off balance before his body tensed up and began to wobble. The Nara fell asleep that fast due to exhaustion, it was a shame but it was only the best he could muster for the moment.

Opening his eyes once more he turned around, he didn't bother to watch what Sho said this time, he rather not hear what he had to say. Crossing his arms he tried to smile softly as he walked forward once more as he pondered on the last question he had heard from the young girl. He doubted he would be much better considering he didn't know anything about the village, Sho would have been better in that department. Nor did he know where he was going, that was a bad thing right? Without a gentle breeze for him to follow, he was just a lost cause in a sense.

"I know you are searching, but perhaps we should turn this into some type of fun day. Let's go do something you want before you go and do the task you really wish to do."

He tapped into Sho's memories while he wasn't talking moments ago and learned what she wanted to do. He was highly against it, but he wouldn't voice his opinion towards her anytime soon, perhaps he could delay it until he didn't have to watch the disaster unfold. That would be better for his mentality any whom.

"B-but Kaza-sensei, I-I-I d-do-" She started to blubber, clutching at his sleeve when he went to ruffle her hair as always. She exhaled loudly as he made a mess of her already messy hair, almost pulling one of her twin tails right out. She had seen the change in his colouring, she knew that the other wasn't bluffing and pretending to be her lazy sensei and so she was left with just a moment. She opened her mouth again to complain; to tell Kaza-sensei to tell his other half to leave her alone; to admit she was sleepy and she didn't want to play; maybe even to say goodnight this time but all that come out was a squeak as he pressed a kiss to her forehead. That wasn't like Kaza-sensei at all, at least not how he was with her and it left Yuii momentarily confused. And in that moment he was gone.

Which left Yuii standing with a puzzled expression on her face and her fingers pressed to the exact spot Kaza had kissed her. As Kazas Colours switched back she was deep in thought, trying to figure out why he would even do something like that. No one kissed her on the forehead, not even her sister, so what was Kaza playing at? Maybe he thought if he tried his pervert-no-jutsus on her she would be nice to weirder Kaza?

She blinked finally when Kaza started to speak to her and she finally focused on his. Standing there, all smug, like whatever his better half had said would fix everything. She growled under her breath at him, kind of like a kitty would, and refused to follow any closer than three paces behind.

So he wanted them to have fun? She didn't understand at all, because he didn't understand how Yuii worked. Yuii didn't go out with the intention of finding anything fun to do, she went about doing the things she needed to do and made them fun along the way. There wasn't anything funner she could think of then finding and freeing her Jo-nii, and yet this Kaza was trying to play weird games.

"I don't want to play with you," Yuii answered grumpily, her mouth pulling into a pout, "I don't want to play. I don't want to be here. I wanna go home, I want my sister, I want Jo-nii, I want Kaza-sensei; I don't want you." She answered, finally letting her hand drop. With a loud sob she buried her face in her arms and began to cry in the middle of the street, not at all worried about how she much look.

"UwaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaah"

It seemed that a lot of had happened within the couple of moments he wasn't paying attention. With a small shake of his head he wasn't sure what to say to the young girl at this point, she seemed that she was quite keen on having nothing to do with him at all. He couldn't blame her to be honest, but it was still a pain to hear someone say such a thing about him to say the least. The medical chief slowly looked about as the petite girl began to cry, now what was he to do? Gently he lowered himself and lightly looked at her, Kaza had no idea what to do at all.

Placing a hand to his forehead, he soon ran his hand through his raven hair before looking at the crying young girl. Staring at the ground he gently made his way back to his feet, taking a couple of steps back, the young man looked back at her. Looking up to the sky he began to chuckle lightly, how did Sho do it? How was he so good with children and he was not? Placing his hands into his pockets, the young medical shinobi continued to dwell on this fact. No amount of medical training could prepare on for this situation, there was nothing simply like this.

"So you want to go home? Shall we go back then?"

It was the only thing that would utter from his lips as he continued to gaze up towards the sky. If the young girl wanted to go back to Kumogakure, he would take her, but at what cost? What would happen if he returned, was it in his best interest at this point? How would Yuii respond to this question? It was simple, simple enough for her to really respond.

"I'm sorry Kaza-sensei can't be here with you right now, but he wouldn't want you to sad. It might break his heart ya'know?"

Yuii sobbed again, louder, and dropped to the ground as if her legs couldn't possibly hold her for another moment. At this point even if he asked her, Yuii couldn't have explained what it was that was actually making her cry. She should have been fine. Sure she was exhausted and frustrated and put off by being forced into the company of a stranger but Yuii tended to deal with all these things fine. She was feeling things now she couldn't explain and all that did was confuse her to tears.

So when he offered to take her home, a long trip indeed, all she could so was cry louder and shake her head in answer. The other Kaza probably wouldn't have known what to do any better then this one. The difference was that Yuii would have been comfortable cuddling up to the usual Kaza and blubbering out her problems. Perhaps there was a way to approach her her right now but without knowing how to deal with children they were at an impasse.

Which was where Yuii's unseen guardians stepped in. If Kaza watched he would see her pigtails smoothing back into place on their own. If he listened her would hear Yuii mumbling quiet answers to no one.

Finally she stood, scrubbing furiously at her reddened face. The only thing worse than feeling so bad you had a tantrum was coming out of it in a public place. She stood awkwardly and stared at Kaza, her face still set in heartbreaking sadness. "I want to sleep."

It would seem that his last comment left an impact total of zero on the young girl. Shaking his head ever so lightly, the medical chief began to look around, panicking ever so slightly at this point. Was he worried about the young girls emotional state or rather the eyes that seemed to fall upon the pair, probably the ladder of the two. Yuii's cries grew louder, with that more scowls came surging his way, in turn Kaza placed his hands up, waving them slightly as if he wasn't the one at fault. It didn't help he had hardly any child like experience when it came to child watching.

Running a hand over his face, Kaza once again let out a long sigh as panic seemed to grow within him with every passing moment. Finally he decided it was time to take action, perhaps it was because he noted a few people peering through the window at them. Sadly before he even spoke, the young shinobi took note as her hair seemed to magically smooth themselves back out once more. Widening his eyes lightly he gently leaned closer to Yuii and tilted his head lightly to the side as if looking for someone behind her.

"How did you manage to pull that one off?"

To further make sure the two were on the same page, he gently pointed his index finger towards her pigtails. Normally he wouldn't have taken in something of the sort, but when it happened by itself, it seemed to cause attention to the odd phenomenon. How did she manage to pull that one off?. Sadly that was one of the few thoughts running through his mind as he glanced up, leaning closer to her was probably a horrible idea considering she had just shouted she didn't want to play.

Men and women seemed to be gathering up and pointing at them. Kaza could have even sworn he heard someone in the crowd yelling out that he was being highly flirtatious with the young girl. This only seemed to annoy him as he glanced to the side and stood up. Enough was enough, Kaza hardly ever lost his temper and it wouldn't be today, but the constant gazing of eyes and comments relating to the situation were almost unbearable.

Finally a light at the end of the tunnel seemed to appear. The young said she was tired, well she didn't come out and say that, but she did say she wanted to sleep. How old was Yuii? Sadly Kaza couldn't remember, but he knew Sho probably did, but that was far from the point. At long last a small laugh emitted from his lips as he came to the conclusion it was just time for a simplistic nap, it would have been nice if she didn't cause quite a scene.

"There's a nice park I saw on the way over here, well kind of saw. I believe there's a nice shady place where you can nap, better yet you can pick out the place. What do you say? Dry up those tears."

It was somewhat humorous that he was taking pity with her. Normally he would try to nap, but he wasn't the one to do so in the middle of the day. Perhaps she would agree to this. It was slightly odd talking in such a manner as he was currently, but hopefully Yuii wouldn't catch onto such a thing. With a final shake of his head, he gestured towards the door for her to perhaps lead the way.

"W-what?" Yuii asked, tilting her head back and momentarily pausing in her tears to stare at him with confusion. She was aware of the two ghosts and most other ghosts as he would be aware of people moving around him. The tug was a natural sensation, Wisp had been fixing her hair for her entire life after all and so there wasn't much else to it. Yuii had naturally messy hair which Wisp told her was perfectly normal for her family. She even said her sisters hair would fluff everywhere so why shouldn't Yuii's? Kaza ruffling it all the time had just increased the amount of times the ghost had to tug.

So it wasn't so strange that he had finally noticed.

And when he went to poke it? The hair wiggled a little on its own and Yuii swatted at the space above her head quite as if there was something there. Well there was, just Kaza couldn't see her.

The crowd seemed satisfied with their resolution too and with Yuii had calmed down so too did they move on. The bluenette reduced herself to hiccups and shuttered breaths as she tried to calm herself down. The fake Kaza understood now, she had to sleep, and while he hadn't figured it out by himself at least she would get her nap. Then again, would she have complied with the fake if he had come out and accused her of being a cranky child?

No, probably not.

And so Kumogakure's youngest(probably) ninja blew her nose on the back of her sleeve, leaving a wet snotty mess, then reached both arms up to be picked up. It was a fairly childish move, something done by a child two or so years younger in most cases, but Yuii sure felt like a baby. "Somewhere with sunshine and only a few buggies and uhm... and uh...soft grass." She insisted.

In the end it seemed like it didn't really phase him as to what was occurring with her hair. It seemed that something that wasn't visible to the naked eye was occurring around her, or perhaps she was just tricking him using some type of odd jutsu. Either way he wouldn't dwell on the fact for to long, instead he was merely satisfied that the crowd that seemed to be gathering was disappearing from view, it simply placed his nerves at ease. An odd noise issued from below him as he jumped lightly, the noise obviously taking him by surprise.

Looking at Harunabe Kaza directly in the eyes was a very snotty looking sleeve. In all the time he had been a medical shinobi, this seemed to baffle him. Yuii didn't seem to have any fever, not that he had checked though, he somewhat doubted she would allow him at this stage. Back to the point at hand, it seemed odd for a child to produce so much mucus onto a single sleeve, he almost felt bad for the sleeve itself until he noted her arms reaching up into the sky. A look of horror gently glided across his face as he knew what was about to occur.

In reality he had two choices, one being to accept the fact he was about to be covered in this mucus if the girl happened to wrap her arms around him, or two being that another gathering of faces would appear in a matter of moments onto the scene. Letting out a sigh, the medical chief finally accepted the situation at hand and reluctantly picked up the young girl, trying his best to hold her at a distance from himself but knew that this wasn't going to work. A small sigh escaped his lips as he ever so slowly pulled the young girl closer to him, allowing her to be held properly, though a single thought ran through his mind, Please don't wrap your arms around my neck. Please don't wrap your arms around my neck.

Quickening his pace, Kaza seemed to look drastically around the downtown area for a place where he could place the young girl down before she placed the snotty sleeve against him. Finally appearing in front of him was a small area of grass, it would have to do for now. With each step he increased his speed, praying that the worst didn't occur.

Yuii hung there for a moment, a bubble of green goo still attached to the underside of her nose as her hug seemed to be pending. She didn't understand the look on Kaza's face, she'd never seen real horror directed at her person before and she didn't get that her germ covered sleeve had him worried. One couldn't blame the small bluenette though, she was sleepy.

Yuii made an annoyed sound, kind of like a hungry, lost day old kitten and wiggled to try and catch hold of the fake Kaza's shoulders for that hug. She wasn't dirty clothes, she was a little girl and this wasn't how she was meant to be carried. Kaza seemed to get that too, slowly, and with a none too happy look started to finally pull her closer. Yuii was annoyed and delighted all at once and with a happy squeak wrapped both arms around his neck. For the moment she would pretend he wasn't a fake.

As for the disgusting sleeve? Merely damp as if some angel from above had seen fit to wipe away the snot before it became Kaza's new face mask. Whatever benevolent force saw fit to care for Yuii's hair also deemed snotty sleeves worth their time.

Yuii might have fallen asleep as Kaza rushed to find a place for her to sleep, she was that tired, but his jarring pace shook her cruelly from the edge of sleep and she she simply clung and whimpered.

"E-e-even Ninjas need naps," she expalined in a grumpy tone against his shoulder, her brain deciding by now that he was probably thinking badly of her. I mean, what kind of ninjas needed naps, "Really GOOD ninjas need naps, lots of naps. I bet the real Kaza-sensei thinks so!"

Once again the topic of conversation seemed to fall back upon the other Kaza-sensei. With a small shake of his head he finally stopped by a tree before placing her onto the ground. A small sigh escaped his lips as he shook his raven black hair once more. It was hard being two people, well having another live co-existing within your own body that is. Good ninja's needed naps? With a small sigh he shook his head, perhaps Sho had been the one to place down such ideals onto the young girl as he was often sleeping, but then again she was just a child.

What do I do now...?

Wrap your arms around her and go to sleep. I'm sure she will in turn.

I'm sure that works with you, but I don't do that with children.

Then, I suppose I'll do it for you.

With out anytime to think he felt himself lightly get onto his knees and embraced the young girl, holding her close before falling over onto the ground. His eyes forcefully closed as he struggled to move and in the end found it impossible. How Sho was able to control this after switching back was beyond him and it was quite frightening to think he was loosing what little control he had. In the end all he could do was lightly speak out in embarrassment.

"Kaza-sensei said go to sleep and take a nap with him."

The whisper was light as it could be to avoid causing to much attraction but unfortunately it caused just that. Whether or not the young girl would move out of his grasp was unknown to him, so he lightly sighed once more before going to sleep, but his heart began to beat faster at random intervals. The constant eyes on him made him feel uncomfortable, but if it would prevent the scene from before then he would probably have little choice in the matter then correct?

A soft murmur would occur as he muttered under his breath a few times. This mostly consisted of something along the lines of 'Stupid Kaza-sensei' and the occasional 'Sho why do you do this to me you lazy Nara?'.
