[23:09:16] <Jamal> He removed his backpack, and began to dig through it, confirming he still had all his needed gear, and much needed supplies for his venture.
[23:10:30] <Jamal> "Butcher knife, check, combat knife, check, butterfly knife, check, switchblade, check, machete, check, steak knife, check, butter knife, check..."
[23:12:06] <Jamal> "...I think I forgot to purchase food.  This shall be rememedied, little Tesla," he says to the Shinx sticking its head out of his front pocket.
[23:22:59] : Camellia exits the Pokemon Center, Assam, Oolong and Chammy in tow. "Well, at least we got paid well by the city for that one...oh hey Jamal. Uh, is this a good time?"
[23:24:53] <Jamal> Jamal looks up.  He looks extremely tired, and a very placid demeanor. Those who are...used to his normal attitude would find this Jamal alien.  "Yes, it would be."

[23:26:08] : Camellia has no idea about Jamal's normal demeanor, as she's visiting the city anyhow. She looks around a bit to make sure the streets are empty around here then sits down. "...Is something bothering you?"
[23:26:48] <Jamal> He coughs nervously.
[23:27:32] <Camellia> "Is this about the diner? I'm SO sorry about that. That Grant guy was really getting on my nerves, and I guess everything got out of control. D:"
[23:28:55] <Jamal> "First off, I must apologize.  I believe I may have misjudged you and your intentions at that time.  I have...a very, very poor history with people of your...gifts."

[23:30:03] : Camellia simply nods. "Understandable. Even with my uh, I guess you could call them gifts, it still unnerves me when someone probes my mind sometimes. I didn't choose to be who I am, so I've just made the most of this..."
[23:30:09] <Jamal> "I'd also like to apologize on behalf of Grant, he is eccentric.  However, he does mean well, and is not the twisted soul you...appeared to take him for."
[23:31:30] <Camellia> Camellia's face darkens a bit. "I'm sorry, but I'm not sure I can accept that. Perhaps that he is misguided...but the Unown are not to be treated as he treats them, in such a juvenile manner. I don't think he understands them..."
[23:32:25] <Jamal> "But that, is not actually the reason I'm here.  I actually intended to leave that night, but on the way to the station...I found this little guy," he gestures to the Shinx in his pocket.  "Couldn't leave him in the cold, took him in and nursed him back to health.  I find that was a blind stroke of luck.  I recieved a visitor last night, someone I was not expecting..."
[23:33:12] <Camellia> "That's charitable of you, to take him in. Who came to see you?"

[23:36:21] <Jamal> Ponders how to word things..."I was friends with the MacGruffin family.  Mary herself payed me a visit last night, and personally informed me of what occured, and the role you played in it."
[23:37:34] : Camellia turns away, not sure what to say for a few seconds. After a bit of awkward silence, she takes a deep breath and turns back. "...I'm so sorry. If I had known...well, I don't know why the Wanderers wouldn't have sent for you that night. That's too cruel. At least, well, Mary must've told you. They've moved on...content with their lives."
[23:38:36] <Jamal> "I understand you acted as a medium to bring them to peace.  I thank you for that, their family deserved better then such a fate."
[23:40:44] <Camellia> "Indeed, it was my pleasure to serve them. I...well, I was always meant to play such a role. My upbringing in Ecruteak guided me toward this path, and circumstance has dictated that I never waver from it." Camellia reaches into her robe and pulls out a pokeball, releasing Astrid. "Then...I'm sure Mary told you about Astrid too. She won't remember you, sadly. It's a cruel fate."
[23:41:15] <Jamal> He gets up slowly, and begins to collect his gear... "She is currently on a little journy of her own now.  Whatever happened to her to...cause such a change, I cannot imagine.  And I'm not just referring to her arm.  She seems to have...matured three times her age.  However, I do know how to get in touch with her, and if you ever need to speak with her, I can arrange it."
[23:41:56] <Jamal> "As for Astrid...I trust her judgement to entrust you with the upbringing."
[23:43:22] <Camellia> "...Someday, yes. I feel I have some maturing to do myself before I should speak with her again. And Astrid needs time before the two can meet again. Thank you for this." Camellia gets up as well. "And likewise, if you ever wish to see Astrid...I don't think she should grow up ignorant of her past. It is for that reason too I wish to keep in contact with Mary."
[23:44:23] <Jamal> "Mary seemed to suggest you'd have a very, very urgant reason to contact her eventually, not that I could understand the reason."
[23:44:25] <Jamal> "As for me...I am leaving town soon, after a few more stops and some last minute preperations.  I need to pay your friend Sophia a visit as well..."

As for Mary's reasons...I believe I understand them all too well. If you plan to visit Sophia, let me know too. I feel I should say goodbye before leaving town." Camellia offers Jamal her contact info.
[23:47:32] * Jamal accepts it, and returns a little card with his personal contact info on it. like a business card but more practical. "She mentioned something about...wanting to go see Gyrllsville, which is sort of funny, I got a little job to do there..."
[23:48:37] : Camellia is a bit surprised. "I wouldn't place her as one interested in such a place. Well, I suppose that really is goodbye for a while then. I have other places I must visit."
[23:50:40] <Jamal> "I thank you again for what you've done, it'd be an honor to work with you again," he gives an awkward bow.  "Perhaps we may visit Sophia's at the same time, but if not, I'm sure we'll meet again either on the road or through these god for saken things," he shakes his wanderer's pokedex.
[23:52:34] <Camellia> "You're welcome. I may not choose who I am, but I am happy to carry out what I have been tasked with. I'm sure we'll see each other on another Call." Camellia gives a small wave as she walks off.
[23:54:24] <Jamal> As they part ways...the second Jamal ducks around a corner, he clings to the wall and starts to pant in fright.  "OH JESUS CHRIST WHY DID I HAVE TO MENTION GRANT SHE'S GONNA CURSE ME OR SOMETHING.  Wait, no, that's totally irrational, she's a very honorable - I'M GONNA NEED ALCHOHOL FOR THIS TRIP, LOTS AND LOTS OF BOOZE."
