The Story of Lamb: Part I.

Tears.

Tears running down soft white fur as a soft white creature emerged from a dark, pine forest, entering a small unnamed town.

Blood.

Blood ran down the poor animal's neck, teeth marks pouring out blood into the creature's soft white fur, staining it blood red.

Panic.

Panic was the only thing racing through the poor Lamb's mind. Fearing for her life, she looked to the building closest to her. It was a small, dark, wooden building. Bright artificial lighting painted the room a soft yellow, and gave the window a small tint. Lamb stopped for a minute to breathe. She couldn't just walk inside with blood all over her neck. She quickly looked around the wooden tavern, finding a small water spigot out the back.

The water started lightly pouring out, freezing cold to the touch. Lamb slightly recoiled from the chill of the water. She started lathering her neck with water, trying to clean out the bloodstains that had been given to her by a horrible being. One she'd never hope to see again. She tore some excess fur off of both ears symmetrically, as to not raise caution. She put the soft, warm, dry fur on her wet neck, disguising the smell of wet lamb and blood, and to hide the large holes in her neck.

She looked around the town, finding a small board with a picture of a woman with sharp, long ears. She immediately thought she was of elven descent, as she took the poster of the board. The instructions? Walk into the Tavern and call out the name on the paper. The name itself? It was beautiful. The Lamb put on her mask and slowly walked in. She looked for a woman like the one in the picture before having a seat next to her and passing her the poster.

"I'm here to take up your offer on an adventure. I need something to distract me from... recent events. My name is Lamb.

You must be Sera."
