+Ryan Taylor __ I am aware that I could be reaching and it is undeniable that Norm Macdonald is a very charming person. A person's charm often causes things they say and do to slip under our radar that otherwise wouldn't or shouldn't. It's only in hindsight do we end up saying, "oh yeah, now I can see it!" Kind of like Jimmy Savile. That's a guy you only need to look at for one second to say "oh yeah, makes sense", but yet for *decades* he flaunted it yet "it" remained "invisible".

But even then a lot of people remain in denial. I am sure a lot of people pointed things out about Jimmy Savile and were told that's the way he is, "you're just reaching".

Of course, I am not comparing Norm Macdonald to Jimmy Savile! But one thing I have noticed about Norm Macdonald is that throughout his career he makes frequent pedophilic-themed "jokes", but never seems to have a bad word to say about pedophiles. This is despite keeping his nail painted to show solidarity for abused boys.

I'm curious, if this had been a clip of Jimmy Savile horsing around like that would you still have that "it's innocent" reaction or would you instead pause and think it could be suggestive of something else going on in his psyche?

Despite working with him for 30 years, Jon Stewart says he didn't know (let alone hear about) what Louis C.K. had been getting up to with m4sturbating in front of reluctant women. Do you suppose that Norm Macdonald, a guy whose book was forwarded by Louis C.K. (and a guy who can make Andy Dick blush) also didn't know anything?

If people are now being encouraged to snitch on each other and share stories about inappropriate sexual conduct, then surely Norm Macdonald would be someone who can open up a can of worms. _Or am I just reaching?_
