Description: Another local of Columbus, Papa is a relative newcomer to the scene. He has appeared within the last two years and quickly has risen to become a strong player in the area. In contrast to his loud and boisterous appearance, Papa takes an extremely cerebral approach to the games that he plays. A "lab monster", Papa often strives to find new ways to approach what he does with his characters and looks at videos to help cultivate what he thinks up.

Notable Results or Average Placings: Currently ranked #5 in Columbus, Papa generally places within the top 5 of the few events he enters. He has beaten Drephen, Carls and Fizzle locally in the past and boasts the lone set win over Hanky Panky in the last ranking period.

Current Conflicts: At the moment, his main conflict seems to be one of "interest". Between personal improvements outside of competitive Smash Bros., a continued interest in growing stronger as a Melee Ice Climber player and a bit of recent disinterest in his main, Ivysaur, we have not seen Papa enter much locally.

That aside, he does have a few trouble matchups like XYK's Luigi and Marth that he is working on solving in the future and has not lived up to his expectations when traveling to larger tournaments to compete.
