  1. TRAVEL SPEED: To find how many miles you can travel in an hour if you devote yourself to travel, take the relevant Movement Capability(Sky if you're Flying, Swim if you're Swimming, Overland if you've walking, etc), divide it by 2, and round up. For example, the average Trainer, with Untrained Athletics and Acrobatics, has an Overland Speed of 5. Divide that by 2, you get 2.5, and then round up to 3. Thus, the average Trainer walks at 3 miles per hour.
  2.
  3. HUSTLING: You may hustle to move at twice your normal speed, but each Watch that you do so, you gain an Injury. This Injury can only be cured by applying a Bandage during an Extended Rest, or through natural healing over time. While Hustling, you take a -3 penalty on Navigation checks to avoid becoming lost.
  4.
  5. MARCHING AND FORCED MARCHES: A character can march, or focus entirely on walking, for 8 hours between rests, if they do nothing other than walk. Beyond the 8th hour, the character must make a DC13 Survival or Athletics Check(this may be modified depending on environment, weather, etc). On a failure, the character loses a Tick of Hit Points and becomes Fatigued. Each hour beyond this, the DC increases by +3. A Fatigued character takes a -2 penalty to all Movement Capabilities, to a minimum of 1, and restores HP from Natural Healing at half the normal rate(including any modifiers from Bandages, etc). The penalties from Fatigue stack. After 6 hours of rest(which may be reduced to 3 hours with a Bandage), a character loses one level of Fatigue.
  6.
  7. MOVING CAUTIOUSLY: You may choose to move cautiously. This reduces your travel speed to 3/4ths of normal, but you are less likely to run into ambushes or be caught off guard. Characters moving cautiously gain a +3 bonus to Navigation checks to avoid becoming lost.
  8.
  9. EXPLORING: You may choose to Explore, searching out any side paths or investigating anything strange or intriguing. If you do so, you move at 1/2 normal speed, and are more likely to find phenomena, Pokemon, or a safe place to rest. You may combine this with Moving Cautiously; you will move at 3/8ths your normal speed, and it will be very confusing, but you will be mostly safe from unwanted encounters and ambushes, while still discovering what you wish.
  10.
  11. CALLING: You may choose to call out for other Trainers or people while you move through an area. If you do, you move at 3/4ths normal speed, and are more likely to find other people in the wilderness. Pokemon, however, could be frightened or attracted by the noise you make, depending on the area.
  12.
  13. FORAGING: You may move at 1/2 normal speed to Forage; while doing so, you may make a Survival Check, with a DC depending on the terrain and other factors. Success means you find enough food and water for one person for the day. You must forage for at least 4 hours to make the check, and each character may only do so once per day. You find enough rations to feed an extra person for every +4 you exceed the DC.
  14.
  15. WATCHES: One watch is equal to four hours, and thus you travel 4x your per-hour speed in a single Watch. During each Watch, someone must act as the Watchman; during camp, they, well, keep watch over camp, but during travel, they also make Navigation checks. Any number of people can be on watch as a Watchman, but if someone is on Watch for two Watches in a row, they gain a level of Fatigue.
  16.
  17.
  18. TERRAIN:------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  19.
  20. Terrain can and will modify how quickly you move. You can only expect to move your full average on a clear day, when moving unaccosted through sparse forest or grasslands on a clear path or road. Dense forests, swamps, unmarked terrain, mountains, etc. will all decrease your movement speed, as will inclement weather and particularly difficult-to-traverse obstacles such as rivers or patches of quicksand.
  21.
  22. It is possible to get lost, and you will not immediately know if you have become so. What hex you're in, etc, will never be transparent to you - you won't even know the hex layout of the map.
  23.
  24. RANDOM ENCOUNTERS: Yes, there will be random encounters. How you're traveling, where you're doing so, and other aspects may increase or decrease the chance of a random encounter, but just beware of bears.
  25.
  26.
  27. OTHER:--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  28.
  29. Rations: Your Pokemon require Rations only if they've been through extended periods of strenuous activity during that day. This includes being active for more than one Watch that day or engaging in multiple battles per day. Each Watch or battle the Pokemon participates in per day past the first will require an additional ration to feed them for the day. If they participate in no strenuous activity, or are only active for one Watch and/or one battle, their Poke Ball stasis will be able to provide enough nutrients to sustain them for the day.
  30.
  31. Example: Your star Pokemon, Corsola, is active for two Watches one day, and participates in one Battle that day. Corsola will require one Ration for the day. If she is active for another Watch, or participates in a second Battle, she will require an additional Ration for each extra Watch or Battle.
  32.
  33. Foraging: Your Pokemon can help you Forage for food. If they do, add their Rank in Athletics or Perception to your Survival Roll when Foraging. Only one Pokemon may help you Forage at a time.
  34.
  35. EXPloration: For every significant landmark, potential story bit, or Delta Pokemon you find specifically because of a random encounter induced by travel, you will earn 1 extra Trainer Exp at the end of the session, in addition to any earned normally that session. This isn't limited to the Exploring movement method, but it certainly improves your chances.
  36.
  37. Forcing Encounters: You may force an encounter during a Watch if you wish, by intentionally making as much of a ruckus as possible; yelling, throwing out attacks at random; lighting up the sky, etc. However, wild Pokemon encountered this way will be much more likely to attack you, and Trainers may assume you're in distress or unhinged. Either way, things likely won't start off on the best of terms.
