- You arrive outside of Alzeer Dhimadni's mansion. Your investigation has led you here after you picked up a lead from a thief captured by the market guards. He had seen Dhimadni making a deal with someone he didn't recognize and exchanging a sack of coin for some sort of golden orb.
- As you stand outside the compound's main gate, a passerby on the street sees you and says "If you have business with Alzeer you might want to come back later. He was hosting some sort of party last night, I imagine they're all still recovering from their drinks."
- His name is Masan Hazdul.
- "I could smell his servants preparing a grand feast from my home - he points - the breeze last night carried the scents of roasted meats and the sweet smoke of their pipes."
