	Everyone knows the the stories. First dinosaurs, then rodents, then eventually, man. Man is small and weak, and gets picked off like a series of annoying scabs. But eventually, man realizes they have intelligence and numbers, and they fight back. They grow to be the dominant force on this planet. What most people don’t tell you, or even know about, are the dark things, the things in the shadows, the continuous predators that affect them even to this day. In short, the vampires. They are the things of nightmares. They look human enough, but when they first encounter man, they prove they are anything but. They terrorize in small groups, in even smaller villages, content to let themselves be the stuff of nightmares in the hearts of men. Eventually, they become their myths.
