ABSOLUTION


Background :
From birth she was doomed for an unfair life, everyone around her was better. Better grades, better looks, talented, better than her in every aspect possible. Actually, no, the one thing she was good at was stealing. From the young age of 8 she was already stealing money from cash registers, parent's wallets, sibling's allowances, the little kleptomaniac stole everything she wanted and got away with it. Maybe it was because her parents never cared about her enough to notice, but nevertheless she stole. Each year things got worse, stolen cars, stolen cigarettes, stolen drinks, things came to a point where when she wasn't stealing she was panicking.
Soyoung was already troubled, she was planning this for months. The only thing holding her back was the fear inside. That night, she was stealing some cash from her friend, it wasn't much, maybe just a few hundred thousand won. She planned to run away with the money so she had something to help her survive but, she was caught. Her friend threatened to turn her into the police but before anything could happen, she pushed her friend down, they hit their head on the dining table and she ran. She looked down at the body, her mind was racing, she was panicked, had she killed them? She backed away from the body and ran, she ran away from everything, them, her parents, her life, and everyone who despised her. Prison was the one place she refused to go to, cold walls, cold food, no socialization, although, maybe it was better than her life, maybe just maybe it'll help her escape from the reality that she was bestowed upon. Finally, she got a call from one of her closest friends, MADNESS. Their words shocked her to the core. They were running away, too? She thought of every scenario possible, the best one was running away, attempted murder can be sentenced with lifetime in prison, at least, that's what she heard. With a smile on her seemingly innocent face, she agreed to join.

Personality :
•She barely trusted anyone, always paranoid that she would be ratted out by the people close to her. If she did trust them, that meant that they were one of the most important people in her life.
•She was the best liar, she knew how to control her emotions and knew when to let it out, to manipulate was in her blood. Lies came out of her like carbon dioxide out of our lungs, almost instinctively.
•Dreams made her scoff, having a dream job is not real. She hated the fact that people were planning their futures from as young as ten.
•She was as close to kleptomania as possible without being an actual kleptomaniac. Stealing was just as easy to her as breathing, if she wanted something, she'd steal it. Simple as that.
•To motivate her was like to push a mountain, she wouldn't do anything you'd want unless she was willing. If she does something it means she enjoys it.
•She knows how to negotiate. She knew how to persuade. Navigating her way out of unwanted situations was her life styles.
•She is witty, sassy even. She is smart even if she doesn't show it. Being on the side lines and observing is what she prefers.
•She would shut off for no reason. One day she was happy, another she was sad, her pathetic side was a side that was not pleasant to see.
•She is hot headed, she easily gets angry when she is in an arguement. She'll voluntarily start fight if there was a disagreement.
•She was protective of the people close to her. If anyone lays a hand on them or insults them in anyway she bites back, hostile and defensive.
•She was extremely charismatic thanks to her lying capabilities. She could easily lie her way into any situation, but her lies can only go so far before they start to crumble and crack.

No, running away is what drives me to not get caught because getting caught means you ran away for nothing.

How did I meet my love interest :
I met Soonyoung when MADNESS and I were breaking into a car and stealing it to run away with, he said he'd help me start the engine up and not tell a soul if I gave him my number. He was a man to his word because once I gave him my number he hopped in the car, quickly hot wired it and motioned for me to get in. He sent us off after giving me a subtle wink and smile. When I saw him I was shocked, why would a man help us steal a car? He looked wealthy too which was strange.
