15| HISTORY ー please be detailed with this! not everyone has to have a dramatic family history, but don't be scared to pack on some angst. if they're human born, tell how they became a vampire and what they've done in their lifetime leading up to this point. any past professions? lovers? etc. if they're vampire born, are they in contact with their parents? are their parents still alive? how did they die?

Ilhwan was a real prick when he was a human. He was one of those rich kids who walked around the town like they owned it. Both his parents were rich lawyers who traveled a lot for work so when Ilhwan's mother became pregnant with him they decided to settle in New York for a while. Ilhwan grew up going to famous schools and being around the stuck up rich kids kind of wore off on him. His friends were bullies and deep down he knew what he was doing was wrong but he was so desperate to fit in that he always said nothing when they beat up another kid. Throughout his entire school carrier Ilhwan let others boss him around and did horrible things to others.

When Ilhwan entered high school, his parents' jobs moved them all back to Korea and Ilhwan had a chance to start over but he just found himself in the same position as before. The boys at his new school were just as mean and took advantage of people so Ilhwan verbally abused people daily. He never had any close friends. In his opinion, it was better to be on the bully's side than to be the victim.

Ilhwan's academic life was good though. He was a straight A's student and was always on time. He had a couple girlfriends in high school but nothing ever serious. He usually broke it off quick because he felt weird at just the idea of having sex with a girl.

By the time he reached college Ilhwan didn't know what he wanted to do with his life. He thought about becoming a teacher but then he remembered how much of a menace the kids around him were and he realized he didn't want to be around that more than he needed. He was surrounded by people who made he uncomfortable and nervous. They had peer pressured him into under age drinking and marijuana but now that he was turning 21 they were trying to get him into harder drugs which scared Ilhwan. He didn't want to do any of this but the power of words are greater than actions.

That night, Ilhwan stumbled home drunk and high. No one had bothered to give him a ride home even though he lived on the other side of town and all of his "friends" had left him behind. Before he knew it he felt a sharp pain in his neck as a vampire sunk his teeth into his flesh. Ilhwan had cried out for help but no one heard him. He was just another victim.

When Ilhwan woke up he remembered feeling hungry. He was still laying in the alley where he'd been attacked when he killed his first pray. He remembers that perfectly. His body had taken over and he'd grabbed the woman before he could think, draining her. One he realized what he'd done he ran home to his parents. He cried in their arms, covered in blood and gore. They held him fearfully, knowing what had happened.

After that night, Ilhwan refused to accept what had happened. He tried to go on with his normal life but he simply couldn't. He began to lock himself away, hiding from everyone. Months felt like days and years, weeks. His life was being wasted without Ilhwan caring. He had an eternity to cry, why not take it.

On one of the rare occasions where he left his home, Ilhwan came across a store with a tv playing music videos in front. He made to walk past it when a certain beat came on that caught his attention. He drew back to watch the grainy screen and became fascinated by the dance moves and talent. When he asked the owner who the group was he said they were a newly debuted group called Big Bang.

For the first time in a long time Ilhwan went home smiling and genuinely interested in something. Ilhwan became enraptured by Big Bang. He went out and took dance classes so he could learn all of their dances. The dance classes helped to distract him from the fact that he'd turned.

At first, he didn't think about becoming an idol but when one of his dance teachers caught him rapping in the bathroom they told him he should at least audition. Ilhwan was hesitant but his parents were extremely supportive because they'd never seen their son so interested in something before. They eventually convinced him and Ilhwan went to the audition and obviously made it.

16| FAMILY ー do they keep up with any living relatives? grandchildren, great nieces, etc? are they distant from their family? how long have they been dead or alive?
+ Ilhwan lives alone now but he still visits his parents as much as he possibly can because he knows they won't be around much longer. They both accepted that their son was a vampire a long time ago. He was never really close with anyone else in his family because they all lived far away so once his parents die he won't have anyone.

PERSONA | INTERESTS

19| PERSONALITY ー must be written in paragraph form, minimum of 10 sentences. this is the most important part of the form - don't be scared to go all out and list everything you can think of about the character! long is good. this counts for the majority of your character tbh, i get the most muse and feel for a character here.

Ilhwan has changed since he changed. Now he's a lot more polite and speaks his mind. If he knows someone is doing something they shouldn't he will speak up and say something. A lot of people think he's a tattle tale but in his book he's making up for his past. He makes sure to be polite to everyone he meets even if they're rude to him. Please and thank you are in almost every sentence.

When Ilhwan believes something is right he will be stubborn about it and won't shut up until the person stops. He is persistent about following rules and making sure others follow. He's honest and will usually naively throw his other members under the bus. He doesn't like lying and avoids it at all costs.

However, he only speaks his mind about somethings. Ilhwan is a very shy vampire who would rather observe a conversation than take part in it. If he sees someone doing something wrong than he will speak up but when it comes to stating his opinion it is very rare. He tends to stick to answers like, "Whatever you like," or "I don't mind either." This is only because he is scared of messing up. When he was a human, Ilhwan didn't have a lot of interactions with vampires so he's scared he's going to say something wrong or accidentally insult the other members. It's hard for people to have a conversation with him because of this.

Ilhwan tries to fit in with the other vampires because it's in his nature to do so but he really doesn't like the idea of being a vampire. He was forced to become one and even though it's been over 11 years he still has times where he refuses to accept it. Most of the time he knows that there is nothing he can do to change it.

He does things that are very human-like and typically spends too much time in the sun so he has to be patched up a lot. He doesn't know his vampire limits so he sometimes accidentally staves himself or uses too much energy.

Seeing as he a relatively new vampire, Ilhwan gets hungry a lot and he still doesn't really know how to handle it. He will hole himself up in his room when he gets really hungry and binge eat a lot of human food only to throw it all up again. He eventually gives into the need but he still gets super grossed out by it.

Ilhwan is always in a constant state of worry or embarrassment. He's always worrying about every little thing he does to make sure that others around him are happy. He's also constantly worried about embarrassing himself but in the end all that worry just ends up making him mess up and embarrass himself anyways. When he gets really embarrassed he will usually curl up into himself and his ears will turn bright red.

Ilhwan doesn't get mad, it's more like upset. When he gets really frustrated then he will tear up and try to stop himself from crying. He will also yell if he's really mad but the tears usually over power.

Because he got attacked when he was alone, Ilhwan prefers having people close by. He's scared he'll get attacked again and this time he'll die.

He tries to think of the positives but he's a very pessimistic person and lingers in the past.

+ Ilhwan tends to stay to the back but if he really gets into a game then he'll unintentionally stand out. He becomes louder and more out there when he gets competitive. Other than that he tends to try and blend into the back ground, only really talking when people talk to him.

+ He really wants to be on SNL Korea because he thinks it's really funny and he's like to try out his acting skills

+ Big Bang - They debuted around the time that Ilhwan got turned so he really used their music to help him get through the idea of becoming a vampire. He also thought T.O.P. was the greatest rapper in the world and wanted to be like him.
+ Jonghyun from Shinee - Jonghyun was the reason that Ilhwan realized and accepted that he was gay. He tried to deny it for a long time but honestly as soon as he saw Jonghyun in their debut he really started thinking about it. So when the other showed his support for the LGBT community Ilhwan finally accepted the fact that he was indeed gay.

+ For vlives and the like he's his normal quiet self and tends to just linger in the frame. If he's given the camera to talk he'll awkwardly stare at it and say a quick "I love you" before handing it back to one of the other members.

+ He tends to be more relaxed off camera/stage because he's less worried that he's going to say something wrong or embarrass himself in front of millions of people.

+ Ilhwan is actually really good at fanservice despite his awkward personality. His attention is always completely on the fan during fan meets and a lot of them say it's like having a conversation with a normal person. He doesn't really like skinship with the other members but he has natural aegyo so he tries to use that if the fans ask for it. He doesn't really like it though. He tries to be sexy on stage and usually succeeds in their MVs and on stage but when he tries outside of that he gets embarrassed and it just turns into unintentional aegyo.
