  1. ------------------------------------------
  2. Amira (The female Saddle Arabian delegate)
  3. ------------------------------------------
  4.
  5. >Today is the day.
  6. >You've been waiting for a while, but you will have what you wanted.
  7. >Servants scurry to and fro, frantically trying to get the palace ready for the the ambassadors from Saddle Arabia.
  8. >Which of course, reminds you that you need to do the same.
  9. >They arrive today, and you will be ready.
  10. ~
  11. >Putting on your boots, you look at yourself in the mirror, noting that somethings missing.
  12. >A burst of inspiration hits, and you toss on a rough leather duster.
  13. >You make your way to the throne room, where a noise takes you off guard.
  14. >Ducking behind a pillar, you see her, along with Celestia and a stallion..
  15. "A bit early, but no harm done." you mutter under your breath.
  16. >Lowering your hat, you step from inside the shadows towards the group.
  17. >Everyone takes notice immediately.
  18. >You point at the mare, and ask her.
  19. "You! Is your name Amira?"
  20. >"Yes. How may I help you?"
  21. >It was rhetorical of course.
  22. >Celestia shakes her head, but you ignore here.
  23. >Instead, you lift your hat, and quick as lightning, you've got your rope spinning.
  24. >Before she can process what you're doing, the rope is already around her neck.
  25. >The mare struggles to break free while you fight against that.
  26. >Everyone else can only stare in awe as you climb onto Amira's back and, using only her mane for support, hold on for dear life.
  27. >She panics, kicks, runs, and snorts as she tries desperately to remove you from her back, but you hold tight.
  28. >Soon however, she gives up, and you let out a small sigh as the exhausted mare surrenders to your will.
  29. "And that everyone, is all there is to horse breaking. Just jump on, and hold tight till she stops struggling."
  30. >"ANONYMOUS! Get off the ambassador's back! You're embarrassing me!"
  31. "No can do princess. I broke her, I get to keep her. That's the natural order between humans and horses."
  32. >Agreements fill the room, even Amira waves off the event.
  33. "Alright, see you princess, gotta go train my horse. GIDDYUP!"
  34. >Celestia can only shake her head as you ride away.
  35.
  36.
  37. ----------
  38. Fluttershy
  39. ----------
  40.
  41. "Alright Amira. Just follow my instructions, and we'll have you a stable mate or two by the end of the day."
  42. >"My lord, at the risk of speaking out of line, would it not be easier for you to simply walk up and sit on their backs, or for you to instruct me verbally?"
  43. "You misunderstand, the thrill is in the struggle. You horsies have such fun instincts.
  44. "Secondly, being able to work without a lot of words makes it more efficient. You don't need to think about it, simply do it."
  45. >Amira nods, and you nudge her to trot out into P0nyville Square.
  46. >You get a few looks, but most ponies try to pretend you're not there.
  47. >Scoping the crowd for a mare you'd like to take home, you finally spot a couple of flanks you'd like to put your mark on.
  48. >Unable to decide between them, you toss a coin to the ground, letting the face decide.
  49. >The silver half bit piece gleams shines in the light as it rockets to the ground.
  50. >Luna's eyes fall on a glorious moon indeed.
  51. >A soft, buttery yellow horse that you've met on a couple of occasions, but never really talked to.
  52. >Without warning, you set Amira into full gallop through the market.
  53. >By the time she's even realized you're there, you've already roped the small mare and lept from Amira to finish the job.
  54. >Unlike Amira however, Fluttershy doesn't put up a fight, simply freezing up as you bind her hooves and straddle her to prevent her from moving.
  55. >Her lack of liveliness makes you reconsider for just a moment, but you decide to take her anyway.
  56. >Whipping out an enchanted branding iron, you activate its magic, causing the tool to go from black to ashy grey in seconds.
  57. >Rubbing down her haunch to make sure it's clear, you bring down the iron.
  58. >A loud squeal rings through the air as you hold the tool in place, your weight and her binds preventing her from resisting.
  59. >The actual burn lasts only 3 seconds, but the way she screamed, it probably felt like 3 hours to her.
  60.
  61. >Brushing it off, you look at your handiwork.
  62. >Behind the butterflies on her left flank, a new black symbol stands in bold contrast to her fur.
  63. >Taking your weight off of her, you untie the petite pony and help her to her hooves.
  64. "So Fluttershy, how do you like it?" You ask, while brushing the pain tears from her eyes.
  65. >She tries to look at her mark, but with it's placement, simply can't.
  66. >This, ends with her running in a tight circle, like a dog chasing its tail.
  67. >"Umm, I can't see it."
  68. "Eh, you can just check it out in the mirror in a bit. Speaking of, you need to head home and start getting your stuff together. We're heading home tomorrow at the latest."
  69. >"Oh, umm, okay." she mumbles as she turns to leave through the gathered crowd while you remount Amira.
  70. >She quickly stops and turns back.
  71. >"Wait. Umm, where am I going to be living now?"
  72. "Ah. Got a nice villa out in the Unicorn Range. Wide open spaces. Nice big stables. Really quiet. You'll love it."
  73. >Nodding, she mutters a quick "Thank you." before walking away, a small skip in her trot.
  74. ~
  75. >A couple of hours pass as you lounge under a tree, eating lunch and enjoying the day..
  76. >"If I may ask, my lord. Why did you choose her?"
  77. "She's really sweet. A good cook, and great with animals. A real house mare."
  78. >"Fine qualities, I agree. Do you perhaps have eyes for another in this village."
  79. "Hmm, a couple. Next though, I think I'll go after one named Applejack, a local farmer."
  80. >"A farmer my lord?"
  81. "Yep. She's a very hard worker. And she's an experienced rancher and wrangler, so it's gonna be fun."
  82.
  83.
  84. --------------------
  85. Applehorse the First
  86. --------------------
  87.
  88. >Dismounting, you instruct Amira to stay several feet behind so you're less obvious.
  89. >Slowly, but surely, you skulk through the orchard in search of your target.
  90. >It doesn't take long before you hear her, the sound of hooves cracking against wood letting you home in easily.
  91. >There, among the rows, is a sweat drenched, orange mare, kicking away at the trees.
  92. >Slinking back to Amira, you climb onto her back, and slowly trot around.
  93. >Unfortunately, as you're getting in position, Applejack notices you, and walks over to greet you.
  94. >You don't give her the chance, and the rope is already heading for her.
  95. >Unsurprisingly, she manages to dodge and takes off.
  96. >You give chase, but it's no use, the pampered noble simply can't match the lifelong farm pony.
  97. >Still, you push Amira has hard as she can go, but it doesn't matter.
  98. >Applejack turns into another orchard with a significant lead on you.
  99. >You follow, but soon find that to be a mistake.
  100. >A well placed trip rope gets you, knocking you from Amira's back.
  101. >Tumbling as you hit the ground.
  102. >Recovering from your daze with only minor cuts and bruises, you look ahead to see Applejack on a nearby path, looking quite proud of herself.
  103. >"HOOOWEEE! That was a good ol' time! Ya'll are welcome ta come try again whenever ya like!"
  104. >You swear she's mocking you.
  105.
  106. "Yeah, I'll be back, don't you worry."
  107. >Just then, you notice Applejack's sister staring at you from beside the dirt path.
  108. >With a sigh at your failure, you decide you can surely handle this Apple.
  109. >Applejack still staring right at you, you lunge at the filly, forcing her to the ground before you press the hot iron into her left haunch.
  110. >She screams and tries to squirm, but you hold her firmly in place.
  111. >Pulling away the metal, AJ stares in utter surprise at the scene.
  112. >"Now you look here mister!" She says as she marches up to you. "You best take dern good care of her, or I'll whoop yer flank!"
  113. "Of course."
  114. >You compliment your assurance with a pet of Applejack's mane before slinging the filly over your shoulder.
  115. >"Alright then. That settles that."
  116. >Bloom waves back excitedly as you walk away.
  117. >"BYE SIS! TELL BIG MAC AND GRANNY AH LOVE EM!"
  118. >"BYE APPLEBLOOM! YOU BE GOOD NOW!"
  119. >With nothing else to do, and the sun setting, you head towards Fluttershy's place, you can come back for some of Appleblooms belongings in the morning.
  120.
  121.
  122. ---------------
  123. Nurse Redheart
  124. --------------
  125.
  126.
  127. >The sun peaks through the windows of the cottage, wresting you from your sleep.
  128. >Sitting up, you look around the room.
  129. >Laying about the cot made to accomodate your size lay your three soundly sleeping horsies.
  130. >Now is a good a time as any to see how well they respond to orders, so you shake Fluttershy awake.
  131. >"Mmmph. Huh? What?" the tired pony mumbles out.
  132. "Wake up Fluttershy, it's morning."
  133. >"Oh. OH! Good morning Anon! Umm, did you need something?"
  134. "Yeah. I'm pretty hungry, I want you to get started on breakfast."
  135. >"W..what would you like?"
  136. "I saw you had some meat for the animals earlier. How about some of that?"
  137. >"Yeah, for the animals....Should I make anything for the, uh, other girls?"
  138. "Just some hay or whatever ponies normally eat will be fine."
  139. >"Yes sir." she says with a nod before trotting quietly into the kitchen.
  140. -
  141. "Let's see. Meat, meat, meat...umm...I know!"
  142. >Taking a skillet, several eggs, and some leftover ham, you begin making a huge omelet for what must be a huge appetite.
  143. >Part way through cooking, you hear some strange sounds from the living room, but you pay them no mind.
  144. ~
  145. >Popping the last chunk of unused ham in your mouth, you head over and take the hay off the cooker.
  146. "There, that should be everything. Anon'll be so happy with me!"
  147. >With a pleased nod, you walk to the living room.
  148. "Alright everyone, breakfast is....ready...."
  149. >You're greeted to the sight of Applebloom buried snout deep in Amira's marehood.
  150. "Anon... What is Applebloom doing?"
  151.
  152. >"I put her on cleaning duty after I finished up with Amira."
  153. "Are you sure that's wise?"
  154. >"She needs to learn how to be a good pet." He says, Applebloom breaking away long enough to nod vigorously. "You want her to become a good pet, right?"
  155. "Well...of course I do!" you answer, surprised he'd ask that.
  156. >"And what about you? You want to become a good pet, right?"
  157. >This time, you're just the teensiest bit offended.
  158. "Yes." you answer in an annoyed tone.
  159. >"Good. Let's eat then. Come on girls."
  160. >He pets your mane as he passes, sending shivers down your spine.
  161. -
  162. >"So, umm, where are we going Anon?"
  163. "I'm going to pick up yours and Applebloom's medical records. You three are gonna head over to the farm and start getting her stuff together."
  164. >"Oh! Can ah bring my toys? Please?"
  165. "A few. Try to travel light."
  166. >Arriving, you hop from Amira's back.
  167. "Alright, you three go on, I'll handle this."
  168. >Nodding, the mares move along, leaving you to handle the staff alone.
  169. >The inside is clean and sterile, or as much as a building of sick people can be at least.
  170. >Approaching the desk, you get the receptionist's attention.
  171. >"Hello. May I help you?"
  172. "Yes. I need to pick up some medical records, my...family and I are moving, and I need them before we leave."
  173. >"I see sir. Do you have any paperwork for the pick up?"
  174. "Well, no."
  175. >"Well sir, I can't hand it over without an order unless they're here."
  176.
  177. >"It's alright Sweet Treat. I know what he's here for." another mare says stepping into the room with her.
  178. >She steps from behind the desks, and beckons you over.
  179. >"Mister Anonymous right? I'm nurse Redheart. I hear you're dragging a few of our ponies away when you go?"
  180. "That's right."
  181. >"Lucky them."
  182. "What was that? Stop mumbling."
  183. >"Oh, nothing. Please follow me."
  184. >You're led into a common doctors office.
  185. >"Alright Mr. Anon, who are the ponies you've, umm, adopted?"
  186. "Fluttershy, and Applebloom. You know them?"
  187. >"Indeed I do. Wait here and I'll get a copy of their files for you."
  188. >Taking a seat on the bed, you wait.
  189. >And wait.
  190. >And wait.
  191. >It's been almost an hour when you're starting to get a little annoyed.
  192. >Just as you're about ready to go looking for her, the door opens, and Redheart hands you two binders labled with your newest pets names.
  193. >"There you are Mr. Anonymous. Is there anything else you need?"
  194. "Hmm...Well, some pain killers for my girls brands could be nice. They must hurt terribly, but they've just grinned and beared it. Really good girls."
  195. >"Well...I'd need one of them here first to see how strong they need the painkillers to be, but if you come back later, I'm sure we can handle things."
  196. >Rubbing your chin, you get a better idea.
  197. >Catching the mare off guard, you manage to grab her and move her to the bed before she realizes what's happening.
  198. >She bucks, whinnies, bites, and tries to run, but it does her no good.
  199.
  200. >You soon manage to bind her with the beds built in binds, rendering her struggle futile.
  201. >Whipping out your branding iron, you push the mare's face deep into a pillow to muffle her cries and not disturb anyone.
  202. >With the iron heated, you press the hot grey metal into her.
  203. >The air fills with the smell of burnt hair and the sound of agony, but you don't relent.
  204. >Soon enough however, you remove the tool, leaving a permanent black mark on the soft colored nurse.
  205. >The job done, you remove the leather binds and help Redheart down.
  206. "And there we go. Give it a few hours, then get something for how much it still hurts."
  207. >She nods, then takes a small, careful step as she adjust to the marked flesh.
  208. "Oh, and don't choose anything that promotes healing. I want it to come out distinct."
  209. >"Ye-ow. Yes sir. Before you go, a personal request?"
  210. "Yes?"
  211. >"Well, it's about my job, I-"
  212. "Say no more. You can stay in town long enough to find a proper replacement."
  213. >She cracks a small smile.
  214. >"Thank you sir!"
  215. "Well, if there's nothing else, I should be going. I'll leave your future address at the front desk."
  216. >"Very well then, I'll see you later then."
  217. >Petting her mane, you stroll out of the building, dropping a card at the front, and head towards the farm to help the girls with their preparations.
  218.
  219.
  220.
  221.
  222.
  223.
  224.
  225. --------------------------------------
  226. Nightmare Moon Special
  227. --------------------------------------
  228. This was a request, and not part of the main story.
  229.
  230.
  231.
  232. >With the stones placed, the other 5 girls leave Twilight alone to do her thing.
  233. >Grabbing the closest pony, a certain little dress horse, you hold your hand firmly over her mouth as you push the branding iron into her flesh.
  234. >Instructing her to stay quiet, you move for the next 4.
  235. ~
  236. >Running with your freshly marked herd up the stairs, you hear nightmare moon finishing up a little evil speech as you arrive.
  237. >"You little foal, thinking you could defeat me! Now you will never see you princess or your sun! The nigh, will last, FOREVER! AHAHAHA!"
  238. >You watch on from the shadows as Twilight teleports behind Nightmare Moon to do her little magic trick, to no effect.
  239. >Pretty soon, the other 5 join her, right as Nightmare breaks the damn rocks.
  240. >The other 5 step forward, their shock and fear overiding their orders.
  241. >Then...the most awful thing you've ever seen happens.
  242. >Twilight launches into this long speech about the literal power and magic of friendship, and how these people she just met are so important in her life.
  243. >It's the cheesiest shit you've ever heard, like some shit out of a bad movie.
  244. >You just never expected someone to actually say such cringeworthy garbage.
  245. >Tired of listening, you walk past Twilight, towards Nightmare.
  246. >"Anon? What are you doing here?" Twilight asks as the shards loose their magic and drop to the ground.
  247. "Just putting an end to the campiest bullshit I've ever heard."
  248. >Nightmare moon seems both confused and amused at your approach.
  249.
  250. >"And what exactly do YOU intend to do?"
  251. >With a sudden mad dash, you're on her.
  252. >Her instincts kick in as she tries for a brief moment to flee.
  253. >Much to your surprise however, she turns back on you.
  254. >"I..I will not be intimidated. I'm...the queen of the night. I shall not...shall not fear or...or be controlled!"
  255. >She sounds as unconvinced as you.
  256. >Another bolt, and you've taken hold of her mane.
  257. >In a panic, she tries shaking free, but it only gives you time to climb onto her back.
  258. >The black horse bucks and jumps, trying desperately to get you off her back.
  259. >"GET! OFF! OF! ME! APE!"
  260. >She has far more fight in her than anyone else you've broken, and it eventually pays off.
  261. >With a bit of luck on her part, she manages to make you loose balance and fall.
  262. >A saving grab to her tail keep you in the game though, and you grab her by the fetlocks before she can kick you.
  263. "YOU'RE NOT GETTING OUT OF THIS NAG!"
  264. >With a hard yank, the dark mare falls to the floor.
  265. >Siezing the chance, you pin the inept villian and quickly whip out your trusty iron.
  266. >A small change of the incantation causes it to instead freeze so cold that mist cascades off of it.
  267. >She squirms as you press the sub-zero tool into her haunch.
  268. >"GAH! COLD! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"
  269. "Freeze brand." you say, lifting the iron. "The hair'll fall out and grow back white. A normal brand would hardly work, eh darky?"
  270. >Realizing she's been caught, Nightmare stops fighting.
  271.
  272. >Allowing her to stand, you promptly climb onto the mare's back.
  273. "Alright Moonie, let's go."
  274. >"Do not call me that! I am the night, rightful queen of-"
  275. >A small smack echos in the room as you hit her with a rolled paper.
  276. "Not anymore you're not. First rule, no evil antics, and no dark monologues."
  277. >She grumbles a bit, but nods.
  278. >"Hey Anon. What about Twi here? Ya gonna brand her?"
  279. >Twilight jumps from her gaping, wide eyed stare into a defensive stance.
  280. >"Wait, what now?"
  281. "Nah, after that little spiel of hers, I don't want her. Shit gave me ear cancer."
  282. >"What? That' not...Anon? Where are you going? What about the sun? And eternal night?"
  283. "It's all crap mythology, sun's coming, just wait."
  284. >You and your mares begin the long walk to town as the sun peaks over the horizon, leaving behind a very confused Twilight.
