background:
Yooseul grew up with only her father, a humble man who fell in love with the wrong woman, after her mother left them both just months after her birth. This caused her to learn how to take care of herself rather early, as her father worked hard to make sure they wouldn't have problems economically and wasn't home too much. Unfortunately, without her father there to make sure she didn't do those stupid things, she fell into a bad group of delinquents.

This is where she met Nam Areum and they became the best of friends, practically joined by the hips. There was nothing one did that the other didn't and they both developed their fascination and love for knives there. Despite being a delinquent, Yooseul was content with her life, until she was betrayed by Areum and abandoned by her "family" - which, along with the fact that her mother left, is the reason she doesn't like trusting people.

It was around this time she left her father so he wouldn't get caught in the crossfire, but she still writes him letters from time to time, letting him believe she's living a happy life in America - like he had always wanted her to do.

Now on her own and with a sworn enemy, Yooseul learned everything she needed to fend for herself on the streets and would infiltrate places to get their secrets before selling them to their enemies. Her ability to adapt so easily to different places as she made quick work of infiltrating and rising in ranks before bringing them down is what caught the attention of the X clan, and after convincing her to join in return for aid in taking her slow revenge, Yooseul became their go-to when they needed any organization's secret and her brutality towards other's allowed her to be the interrogator when needed. She's good at coaxing out secrets and information with her special interrogation techniques (aka lots of usage of Butterfly knives).

Somewhere along the way she discovered the relaxing effect alcohol had on her, and she started enjoying it whenever she could - although she would never get wasted - too suspicious of sudden attacks.

his personality: Has a don't-fuck-with-me air around him and he's usually striff and straight to business. He doesn't fuck around when it comes to his work and never does anything before thinking it through first. His patience is near endless when it doesn't come to his closest clan members - they've gone on his nerves too many times already so he doesn't have patience at all for them anymore and they get to taste his wrath at least a couple of times a week. However, they're all aware that even if he would never admit it, they're his family and he'd do anything to protect them.
When it's just him and Yooseul on the other hand, he can relax and show weakness as they have a mutual trust that they developed over time.

how do you act around him: Since we're both usually at least a little tipsy when we're together, I'm often very relaxed with him. Even in "work-related" situations, I feel calm and more relaxed with him even though we don't usually talk or interact much at those times. Due to our special relationship, I even find his very precense to be very soothing as I seem to associate it with drinking and releasing all the stress. I trust him, a little more than I should, but honestly I don't really give a fuck. That's the beauty of our private life, yeah? You have no business poking your nose in it.

your relationship with him: Drinking buddies. When time allows it they meet up to vent or relax with drinks. On the most relaxed nights, they sometimes release all of their built up tension by having sex, calm and collected but not exactly loving or anything. It's more of a mutual tension reliever that helps them relax. Feelings can get involved later on, but both will probably be reluctant to changing their patterns in case it doesn't work out.

his nickname for you: Seul-ah, it's what he says when it's just the two of them as an inside thing since she's in fact older. The nickname became a joke after they discovered this fact.

the person you're the closest with: She's not really close with anyone due to her untrusting nature, but if she had to choose then she would probably choose Jaebum because he's the one she can be most relaxed and comfortable with.

your character's favorite weapon: Knives, because they're easy to carry and easy to handle when you're familiar with them. Her favorite is the Glauca B1 and it's the one she will always keep with her (it became a trademark of sorts, always being a definite sign it was Yooseul that did something, which is why it became her more commonly used nickname and code name). Other than that, a few other favorites are the more classical Butterfly and (double) Karambit knives.
She loves the Butterfly knife because if, used correctly, it can cause more wounds that are shallower, it's an excellent tool for causing quick pain all over if it's necessary to defend yourself.
Using the Karambit, on the other hand, is great for close combat, because of how it fits in your hand. Disarming an opponent armed with a Karambit knife is near impossible, so when she uses two she's more or less unstoppable if her opponent is not trained enough in protecting themselves from close, physical attacks.

your character's biggest fear: Being betrayed by someone she trusts.

your character's enemy: Nam Areum

why are you enemies? They used to be close friends in the band of delinquents until they got caught and Areum sold out Yooseul to save her own skin. Later on, she claimed it was all Yooseul's fault they even got caught, causing the other delinquents to cast her out, and when Yooseul questioned how she could stab her in the back like that Areum claimed they had never actually been friends.
Since then, both have been attempting to make the other's life a living hell after Yooseul declared "war" against Areum.
