- Homework: Choose a folktale that you will retell in your own words. Write a list of the English words you will need to use to write this story tomorrow. (You will NOT use your phone or dictionary tomorrow when we write the stories.)

- With your list of words (but no phone or dictionary or anything else), write the folktale in your own words (from memory).
- Probably three paragraphs:
- 1 - Introduction about who is in the story, where they live, etc.
- 2 - Main events of the story
- 3 - Conclusion and consequences (the last thing that happens, what effect it has on other people)
- Optional 4 - the moral of the story

- Homework: finish the story, but try to do it without using a translator or dictionary (continue to use only your brain)
