  3. [03:05:48] <Fuyuki_Ramses> "Don't expect me to be a Connoisseur of it, though."
  4. [03:06:28] <Jordan_Tenko> "No need, most wines are just drab crap trying to act like expensive stuff."
  5. [03:06:32] <Ratty_GM> "Neither am I."
  6. [03:06:45] <Jordan_Tenko> "Just get what tastes good to you."
  7. [03:07:13] <Ratty_GM> With the question settled, Hannah enters the nearest large-looking bar. In your tow are Julie, Kyrie, Tayla, and Scarlet.
  8. [03:07:54] <Ratty_GM> This place has a big plate with hebrew letters on it, which Tayla helpfully explains means the Tree of Knowledge.
  9. [03:08:02] <Jordan_Tenko> "I'll let you in on a secret, most premier wines at restaurants are box wine."
  10. [03:08:27] <Fuyuki_Ramses> "Yggdrasil?" Fuyuki chimes in, asking Tayla.
  11. [03:08:36] <Ratty_GM> "In torah, the tree of knowledge is grapewine." Scarlet recalls. "I am not sure I can deal with this knowledge."
  12. [03:09:14] <Ratty_GM> "So then the forbidden fruit would be grapes, not apples as it's usually portrayed."
  13. [03:11:11] <Jordan_Tenko> "Hannah, because I like you, all your drinks are on me."
  14. [03:11:54] <Ratty_GM> You seat yourselves down. Haruha seems to have garissoned her girls somewhere for the day, though she let Emiri go with you. She can't be at the hideout, because when you cam there, there was an actual army investigation going on.
  15. [03:12:05] <Fuyuki_Ramses> "I thought the 'Forbidden Fruit' was a Pomegranate."
  16. [03:12:36] <Ratty_GM> "I took out all the important stuff." Kyrie had assured Tayla then. "The statues and the books are safe."
  17. [03:13:08] <Ratty_GM> Now, Kyrie seems more passionate. "It's obviously an apple. Although."
  18. [03:13:40] <Ratty_GM> She looks at the menu in the meantime. "How do they always portray the apple as sliced in paintings? Did Adam have a knife?"
  19. [03:13:54] <Ratty_GM> "Did they never think about this? That can't be right."
  20. [03:14:41] <Ratty_GM> (Hannah had chuckled at Jordan's remark, but let you do so.)
  21. [03:15:05] <Jordan_Tenko> "Maybe he asked and shall received a knife from god? You know, just before chowing down."
  22. [03:16:38] <Ratty_GM> "That brings a whole set of problems with it, though." Kyrie jokes. "Someone will argue that the knife was not evil before they understood the way it could be used."
  23. [03:16:40] <Jordan_Tenko> "Maybe the moral is that even with all the world's knowledge in your hand, you still should cut it open and examine it critically before accepting it?"
  24. [03:17:26] <Ratty_GM> "There is seriously a whole religious schism over whether Adam and Eve shit in the paradise, or whether they shat but their shit was not dirty because they were not stained with understanding."
  25. [03:17:50] <Ratty_GM> "The knife should be the same way. It's only a weapon if you are capable of thinking about it that way."
  26. [03:18:58] <Ratty_GM> "Isn't that putting the cart before the horse, Jordan?" Hannah wonders. "Can you examine the apple if you only get knowledge from it to begin with?"
  27. [03:19:45] <Ratty_GM> "I think that a primordial person wouldn't even think to separate a pomegranate into pieces. Just bite the bark. Eww."
  28. [03:20:12] <Jordan_Tenko> "Well technically, you don't even *know* know it's an apple. What if it was a fake apple? How would you know if you didn't slice it open?"
  29. [03:21:30] <Ratty_GM> "That's why grapes make the most sense." Scarlet is confident. "It's segmented naturally, so even two animals could share it."
  30. [03:21:44] <Ratty_GM> "And if any is rotten, you see it right away."
  31. [03:24:35] Emiri peels open an orange.
  32. [03:25:02] Jordan_Tenko points across the table. "I say the forbidden fruit is an orange!"
  33. [03:25:20] Emiri tosses an orange peel at Jordan's face.
  34. [03:25:42] Jordan_Tenko catches it with her mouth.
  35. [03:26:26] Jordan_Tenko attempts keeping a poker face as she slowly chews the peel.
  36. [03:26:27] Emiri purses her lips, slightly dissatisfied with not smacking Jordan's face with it, but shrugs it off.
  37. [03:26:45] Jordan_Tenko maintains eye contact to establish dominance.
  38. [03:27:06] Emiri shrinks into her chair, but you'd only notice if you had a centimeter ruler.
  39. [03:27:38] Jordan_Tenko can only see in imperial, so she misses this.
  40. [03:28:01] Emiri throws another peel at Jordan, this time to try and scare her off.
  41. [03:28:11] <Ratty_GM> She eventually settles on something called Cabernet Sauvignon, with some arabian word next to it that she can't read. It's halfway expensive. Other people reach for more familiar words like bourbon or merlot.
  42. [03:28:23] Jordan_Tenko maintains composure, even at the peel strikes her face.
  43. [03:28:39] <Jordan_Tenko> Chew, chew, chew, chew...
  44. [03:28:59] Jordan_Tenko swallows with some difficulty. Her eyes tear up.
  45. [03:29:01] <Ratty_GM> "Oh no, you play gods!" Kyrie gestures at Emiri theatrically.
  46. [03:29:33] Emiri tosses a peel at Kyrie's face.
  47. [03:29:38] <Jordan_Tenko> So...bitter...
  48. [03:32:59] <Ratty_GM> The green clad nun manages to catch it with her hand. "I am an apples person."
  49. [03:36:55] Emiri takes a bite out of her orange like an apple.
  50. [03:37:05] <Emiri> She raises an eyebrow at her, too.
