  1. Memeing Responsibly -- How To Make Good Propaganda
  2.
  3. Let's state the obvious: we've been pretty successful against seemingly all odds. As much as we celebrate our victories, we also stare glossy-eyed at them in astonishment and a chaotic swirl of mystery invades us.
  4.
  5. >Was this the doing of some ancient egyptian god?
  6. Nay. Somehow, in our chaotic, shotgun attempts at converting the public, we have stumbled upon the beauty of effective propaganda. In this document, I will explain:
  7. • How we have accidentally successful
  8. • What techniques we have accidentally
  9. • What we can do to go from accidentally to deliberately and why we should
  10. (hint: BECAUSE WE WANT TO WIN!)
  11.
  12. How we have accidentally successful
  13. Typically when you open an idea, you don't want to start with the most boring part, and let's be real: history is boring as fuck. We already all know that we accidentally Trump into the white house, so let's skip all the tedium. We just don't know WHY or HOW. Which makes this introductory section quite brief, bringing me to my first lesson:
  14.
  15. #1. KEEP YOUR PROPAGANDA SHORT.
  16. There is an important rule in socializing that we all understand intuitively but it warrants pointing out to truly understand: a person is only willing to put as much energy toward a thing as they expect to get in emotion. Media is only as good as the emotion it elicits and said media is valued by the degree to which it elicits emotion, bringing me to my next lesson:
  17.
  18. #2. Effective propaganda is ''emotional''
  19. A specific emotion, not a range of emotion and not any kind of scholarly interest. You can save a lot of wasted time on things like logical arguments, info dumps, etc. These are resources for the already enlightened, and most importantly, the function of these resources, even for us, is not to educate. The function is to reaffirm and entrench, to "prove" what the enlightened already believed. This outlines 3 clear stages: Unenlightened and uninterested-> Emotion-driven interest -> Enlightened and entrenched
  20.
  21. The goal of propaganda is to take someone from stage 1 to stage 2. Logic does not do this. Arguments and intelligent discussion do not do this. Anyone who has tried to argue with a lib or a "normie" knows this. The only thing that does this is emotion. That makes propaganda not just useful, but mandatory. It's tempting to condemn your targets for being so unenlightened as to not be converted by logic alone, but recall that there was a time when even you were so unenlightened, and it took some degree of emotional motivation to get you here. What makes you think you weren't the target of a propaganda campaign too? Hopefully this question humbles you enough to recognize the critical importance of our work here.
  22.
  23. What techniques we have accidentally
  24.
  25. 1. Music.
  26. It's easily understood how music can be easily used to create effective propaganda. Good music always elicits emotion and lyrics can explicitly convey a message. Provided the music is effective at eliciting a positive emotion, in that vulnerable emotional state, the message will similarly be taken positively. I call this "candy coating a red pill". Making a redpill pleasurable. A huge advantage unique to music is the wide range of emotion it can elicit. Anger, humor, sadness, pride, ambition, etc. In a very real way, music is a kind of communication that speaks in emotion.
  27. This video is an excellent example of this: https://youtu.be/aQzRxGuBn0k
  28.
  29. 2. THE MEMES, JACK
  30. Memes have the unique ability of being easily disseminated, because its targets share the meme with their social group. A meme has a few requirements: 1. Simplicity. 2. Humor 3. Easily shareable form (ie image, webm, gif). The function of humor is breaking social barriers. It's an evolved trait exclusive to humans to use as a tool for socialization that would otherwise be impossible. For example, all flirting involves humor, otherwise you could not break the social barriers required to get close to the person. Humor is a great way of introducing a controversial topic so it's an important tool in propaganda.
  31.
  32. 3. Inciting Reaction
  33. Commonly seen in the ever-popular “false flag”, this is a type of propaganda that presents a subject of controversy to your target to elicit a negative reaction that will drive them further to your side. For example, showing a white woman being assaulted by a black man specifically targets white men, whose biological instinct tells them to attack and kill said black man.
  34.
  35. On its face, persuasion is complicated, but in reality it's quite simple: you apply the right propaganda for your audience. After you recruit them emotionally, you then entrench them with facts and information. The difficult aspect of persuasion comes with understanding your target audience, which requires research and testing. All of these techniques will be covered in greater detail in subsequent documents. For now, what you have learned here will serve as an introduction to propaganda: by and for the far-right.
  36.
  37. 14/88 and hail victory.
