Reasons:
* Icly is here in hopes of undoing her monstrous genome to become human once more as they hate relying on the hideous power of the changeling mutation, self-training of intense levels makes sense to help keep them alive.

* Giant Snake for hair that practically weighs more than they do. King would need to be physically fit already to even manage to roam the land as they do with such a burden when not tail riding.

* Believes in only two things: coin and themself. They truly believe themselves to be the most important asset to achieving coin, therefore they learn skills and develop themselves above all else.

* Recent events have caused them to be pushed around and threatened by future threats. Failures continue to stack up as they rely on others.

* A mercenary which likely could have pushed the recent assault into her favor got bought out to turncoat. Weakens her belief in others.

* Dream of Oasis Strip is dead, now they wish to continue their art of belly dancing, build a snake den, and ween into the backstory of pirate ship as more than just a stowaway. She is starting to really enjoy the idea of inflicting pain on others herself, to become a feared assassin with the intent to crack down on mercenaries who do not keep to their deals.
