  1. >It's been three months since your duet plan with Octavia fell out
  2. >Bon Bon, fed up with supporting you, left you for Berry Juice
  3. >You simply don't care anymore; you're Lyra!
  4. >You feel great!
  5. >Everyone in town has been really nice to you lately
  6. >You can't seem to find your pills
  7. >The pharmacist always seems to be out of them, too.
  8. >Your lyre always seems to be out of tune, as well.
  9. >Oh well. Today, you got an invitation for a vacation at the Ponyville Hospice!
  10. >A tall man appears next to you.
  11. >He seems nice, you ask him if he'd like to come to the hospice.
  12. >He agrees
  13. >The other ponies don't react much to him and blatantly ignore him
  14. >How rude! They're disrespecting your friend!
  15. >Your room in the hospice is rather small, you only have one bed, too.
  16. >Why would you cry?
  17. >You've got a new friend and a cozy new room with a... painting of a view that looked.... A lot like a window...
  18. >A very nice young mare brings you some food and a cup with a pill in it
  19. >How nice, your perscription!
  20. >You don't remember asking for it either. How considerate of them.
  21. >Your new friend doesn't seem to like this room.
  22. >That reminds you, what was his name again?
  23. >You decide Winston is a good shorthand.
  24. >He's got an English accent, too.
  25. >Winston wants to go for a walk.
  26. >But... The hospice manager said something about saving your strength.
  27. >That's crazy, you feel like a million bits!
  28. >You spring out of bed.
  29. >You decide to freshen up a bit first before you head out.
  30. >You enter the bathroom to get cleaned up
  31. >You don't remember having a roommate.
  32. >Or a twin.
  33. >She seems nice, though!
  34. >You introduce yourself to her.
  35. >She looks a bit grumpy, though.
  36. >She's mumbling under her breath, too.
  37. >She probably didn't sleep, because she was so excited to meet you!
  38. >What's that she said? You can't quite hear her.
  39. >She's a... pleasant individual.
  40. >You brush your teeth and style your mane, too excited to let her bug you.
  41. >Winston stirs, does he have something to say?
  42. >Oh, he'd like to talk to her in private!
  43. >You smile at him, and leave the bathroom.
  44. >You decide to explore while Winston is busy making friends.
  45. >You hear a piercing muffled scream as you leave the room.
  46. >Silly Winston!
  47. >Where do you go?
  48. >You decide it would be rude to leave Winston all by his lonesome
  49. >You walk into the bathroom
  50. >Winston's shirt is all messy and red.
  51. >Your twin mustve been sleepy; she's on the ground, wearing a nurse outfit that's just as red and disheveled as Winston's
  52. >You didn't know Winston was an artist!
  53. >You and Winston head out of the room.
  54. >Hey, here comes one of the doctors from earlier.
  55. >How should you greet him?
  56. >andyouvejustbeensolonelyallthidtimeand...
  57. >and he's so... handsome...
  58. >you should've seen it before...
  59. >The doctor.
  60. >He is the one.
  61. >You gallop towards him, preparing to consummate your love
  62. >He must realize the same thing, he's running at you, too!
  63. >Whoa, he must be ready, he's pinned you to the ground!
  64. >You can't quite seem to reach his...
  65. >you didn't know you would fall in love with a stallion with a syringe fetish
  66. >Anything for your
  67. >The last thing you see before you black out is your true love's face behind a needle with a green liquid inside
  68. >"Not now, Winston, I don't feel so good..."
  69. >Winston doesnt leave you alone.
  70. >"C'mon, please... Stop..."
  71. >"Lyra."
  72. >That familiar voice brings you back to consciousness.
  73. >Bon Bon.
  74. >She sits beside your bed.
  75. >You didn't know Berry was invited too.
  76. >You remind yourself to never come back to this hospice again.
  77. >You try and sit up
  78. >The straps on the operating table dont allow you to.
  79. >Bon Bon simply looks at you, apparently sad and disappointed.
  80. >Like you expected any different.
  81. >You don't even look at Berry.
  82. >You don't need this.
  83. >You're Lyra!
  84. >You cast Zantesuken on the bed straps and teleport home.
  85. >"Lyra."
  86. >These straps are stronger than you thought! You roll again, this time trying Blizzara.
  87. >"Please stop."
  88. >You're Lyra!
  89. >"It wasn't you... It's just... I couldn't keep..."
  90. >You don't need this!
  91. >"Ma'am, the doctor is ready. We need to ask you to go."
  92. >Fira! Winston, care to help? Don't you know Night Slash or... Or Warp...
  93. >"Honey, I'm so, so, sorry..."
  94. >YOU'RE LYRA! YOU DON'T BELONG HERE!
  95. >"Put 'er under, nurse.
  96. >Winston waves goodbye as you fade to black.
  97. >You suddenly jump up, freed from your straps.
  98. >And apparently, the building too...
  99. >You find yourself standing on a stained-glass painting of your face.
  100. >The world is completely empty besides that.
  101. >When suddenly, Winston.
  102. >"Lyra...?"
  103. >What's wrong with Winston?
  104. >"I'm sorry."
  105. >Winston doesn't... cry...
  106. >"We'll be together later. But for now, they will help you.
  107. >Winston's not crying. He's not. He's not. He's not.
  108. >"Farewell."
  109. >Not everyone can just betray you like that!
  110. >Winston grabs the sword and smashes the painting.
  111. >NOT LIKE THIS! NO, GOD, NO!
  112. >You fall.
  113. >And fall.
  114. >Down,
  115. >Deeper.
  116. >And deeper.
  117. >You wake up in your bed.
  118. >You remember everything.
  119. >Lies.
  120. >Focusing the last of your magic onto your arms, you summon two pistols and a skyhook.
  121. >Winston...
  122. >...
  123. >You get out of bed and head for the door.
  124. >For Winston.
  125. >You decide to reconcile with your old love.
  126. >As you walk out of the room, you stash your weapons into your belt.
  127. >Truly, fate is on your side.
  128. >As you leave the room, the doctor nearly crashes into you.
  129. "Ahh... Miss Lyra, is it? I trust we are feeling much better now?"
  130. >You were still groggy when you summoned your weapons.
  131. >You decide you should save the ammo for later.
  132. >You throw on your best grin.
  133. "Yep, I'm feelin great, doc! Thanks for letting me stay here. If you'll excuse me..."
  134. >He blocks your attempt to leave.
  135. "Now, legally I cannot allow you to leave. Ponies that have just undergone surgery aren't even allowed to walk, let alone return home! We'll have to organize paperwork and money and..."
  136. >As he drones on and on, you feel your love for him drain.
  137. >Something smells strange...
  138. >You glance into the bathroom at the dead nurse.
  139. >You realize that they know.
  140. >"I'm sorry, Doctor, I really must be going..."
  141. >He steps towards you, in a very didactic and menacing tone.
  142. "Miss Lyra. Please, get back in. Your... Bed..."
  143. Out of the corner of your eye, you see him reaching for something in his pocket.
  144. >"I'm sorry. I really have to do this. I made... a promise."
  145. >You lunge forward and lock the doctor in the most passionate kiss you have ever had.
  146. >Much better than Bon Bon.
  147. >The doctor stumbles backwards, stunned and stammering.
  148. >In one deft uppercut you equip the skyhook and rip a deep score into him from his member to his snout.
  149. >Blood has formed a deep "V" shape across the room.
  150. >He can't even scream before he falls in two.
  151. >You do a quick once-over of his corpse.
  152. >You find a small bottle, curiously ornamental.
  153. >"Bucking Bronco."
  154. >Feeling nihilistic, you down it in a single gulp.
  155. >Lyra gained a level! Lyra learned Bucking Bronco! MP cost: 30.
  156. >You dip out of your old prison. The hallway diverges in two directions: forward and left. You hear much more chatter coming from the left corridor, but see a bright light from the one you are currently facing, the forward one.
