  1. “Wake up!”
  2.
  3. Your head pounds, the night had not been kind.
  4.
  5. “You must wake up!”
  6.
  7. Your eyes part slowly, the images of the dark room streaming into your throbbing brain. You are not alone in here, spooned between two bodies legs tangled beneath the sheets and the sticky feeling of sexual essence running down along your thigh. Your ass ached also in a way both familiar and intense; your fingers confirming the masculinity of the body behind you and the femininity of the one before you, but they do not move...
  8.
  9. “Run. Run. Run...”
  10.
  11. You rise up, your heart beating in time with the throb of your head, as the parting of pooled sheets confirm the suspicion which itched at your still waking brain. A dark realization which jolted you ever so suddenly into the land of the living, even more than the strange voice in your head...
  12.
  13. The people beside you were dead.
  14.
  15. “I’ll give you a gift... you’ll need to know. You’ll need to run... He took it all from you. I cannot give it back. But I can give you something new...”
  16.
  17. Your heart ached, your head spun, bile gathered at the edge of your throat threatening to spill upward as a chain of realizations hit. Taken from you? What was taken? What was this?
  18.
  19. Dead… why were they dead?
  20.
  21. Who were they?
  22.
  23. … who… were you?
  24.
  25. “You are lost. All that you were is lost. He took it all. Took everything... nothing is left but the shell. He’d have taken that too if not for me. He’d have taken even more than you could give, all that you could be.”
