Wrong Way Noel Lightning Returns Challenge

Sir VG's "Wrong Way Noel" Lightning Returns Challenge:

This isn't meant to be a real challenge, but something fun I thought I'd create to forever remember the events that occurred on stream during my first fight against Noel, a boss in Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII.

Noel is the boss in Quest 1-5, which completes the Luxerion Main Storyline. When I faced him, I was playing the Japanese version and hadn't fully understood the mechanics yet, partially due to language barrier. But I still think the battle was epic, even though the completed attempt took 14:24 (battle's timer) and got me a score of 1 point and 0 stars. I will say that if you don't understand perfect guarding before, you will after this fight!

The info I'm listing is my best attempt to recreate the info from the fight for stats and equipment and such. I'm sure a few things are wrong, but it'll be as close as possible. But it's not about competition, it's about personal achievement and fun anyways.

Garbs:
A: Equilibrium (Default Equipment)
B: Dark Muse (Default Equipment)
C: Red Mage (I believe I used the equipment you get when you acquire this garb at the start of Day 2 on the Ark)

Skills (Locked abilities are in brackets, abilities I put on are in parenthesis. Controls are Xbox 360 controls):
A: Attack [B] Thunder (Y) Guard (X) Attack (A)
B: Attack (B) Blizzard (Y) Guard (X) Nothing (B)
C: Light Attack [B] Blizzard (Y) Guard (X) Buster Ruin [A]

All of these skills are at their base levels. Nothing was upgraded except for one in a tutorial for merging skills, but I don't believe it was used on anything, though maybe it was my (A) button on the A garb, but I never used that attack.

I completed a couple of quests, mostly storyline ones. I had done all of Quest 1, Quest 2-1, and Quest 3-1. I remember doing a couple of small quests on Wildlands, but nothing major. I had about 3060HP in Red Mage garb. ATB points were 100/100/120 (A/B/C Garbs).

Items:
1 Potion

GP/EP:
2 GP/EP, allowing me for 2 uses of Curaga on Easy. If playing on Normal, up this to 3 and you're allowed 1 usage.
No Overclocking.

For more epicness, start the battle at 5:55 on the clock. You may want to use Chronostatis to lock the time before the fight in case you fail (since 6:00 ends the day)

Final Note: I did this at the end of Day 2. Noel becomes a much harder boss if you do this at Day 7 or later.
