  2. Mythological Explanation: On one stormy night, Kumogakure faced their harshest storm yet. Causing many of it's townsfolk to retreat to shelters, and gather food for the storm will last several days or maybe weeks. Among the weathery chaos that ensued lied a middle-aged woman who used the storm as a method of suicide. She stood on top of a rooftop in tall building as the lighting roared all over Komogakure. Eventually, a lighting bolt made it's way down to the woman shocking her with many volts of electricity. The lightning, however, did not kill her. She instead manifested a strange power flowing through her entire hair.

  4. Suddenly, she falls down from the rooftop she stood on due to fear over her newfound power. As she is descending all the way down to the ground in desperation she uses her hair to attach herself to a pole in order to catch her fall. Now amazed at what her powers can only her to do, the woman decided to restart her life by finding new husbands to form a lovely relationship. However, many of them were like her previous, full of lies. It is through these many relationships that she gave birth to many children inheriting her power. These relationships continued until she reached another breaking point in her life. This time she ended her life in the simplest way possible, decapitation.

  6. It is through this myth that many believe to be the foundation for the hair-release jutsu of the Futakuchi clan. While others believe a more scientifical explanation can be used to explain the kekkei genkai's origins.
