In my former data engineering role, I exercised a calculated and methodical approach to problem-solving. I was part of a team tasked with building a data warehouse in the cloud(AWS) to enable easier retrieval of data, data analytics and set the stage for use of machine learning in the company. I gained experience with Apache Kafka for streaming of data, PostreSQL for storage and the Pandas library for data parsing and analysis. I was also exposed to Domo; I learned to create visualizations of data to help the Sales and Marketing teams in their decision making processes.
