On the other, this girl seemed to know her place and etiquette. If it weren't for the Illuminated's tenets the young woman wouldn't be so kind as to make an offer like this.

[19:17] Rindou kept on staring at the other girl. The silence was deadly but she could feel herself growing stronger merely from looking at Caira. Was this the effects of Reito's soothing presence or merely the spoils of war getting to her heart? She wasn't sure, but she felt like she had to go on.

[19:24] The young woman hesitated a bit. Without Caira swearing she'd stay silent she wasn't sure if she should speak or not, though eventually Reito's verbal nudge forced a few words out of her. Amber eyes shifted off to the side.

"I've met your daughter. I thought she could be the one friend I require, but she is far from what I imagined her to be."

"The way she uses her blood to form crystals and wounds herself in the process but claims not to feel any pain is scary. The way she treats her retainer as if she was higher than the rest of the world is ridiculous, too. She had me prove her wrong, demanding I spar Suke.

[19:32] Reito offered only a small sigh, though there was a smile on her lips regardless,

"Calista uses her crystal magic the same way as her Father," She explained, "I've already spoken to her about the pain thing. It's... A thing she's simply confused on. Confusing affection for pain," She said, with a mere shake of her head, "Suke is someone very... Very special to her, as well, Rindou. It would be nice if you'd be her friend however. To help guide her when I can't."

[19:33] Caira was utterly silent, sitting there in contemplation as she stared back at Rindou. It's as if an invisible war is being fought - And with the serenity of the darker girl?

She's winning by far, offering up a smile to both Reito and Rindou. Not a worry on her heart, it seemed.

[19:35] Rindou could feel Caira's stare stinging at her. The more it went on, the more she felt like her secrets would be spilled. Without having been sworn to secrecy this was possible. A glare was flashed in the Gehennan's way before Reito gained her attention again.

"I would rather not have her as a friend. She has the class and wealth to be my friend, but utterly lacks any other redeemable features, in my eyes."

[19:39] Reito didn't quite know what to say to that. Pink eyes close once more as she debates over it before she opens them once more,

"If that's how you feel, I certainly cannot change your mind," She said with a small nod, "But she takes after her Father more so than myself. From me, she inherited her good looks," She said, completely serious.

Then the smile cracks through and she laughs lightly,

"Or rather just the ears and tail!"

[19:42] Perhaps devilishly, Caira laughs with the stress building up on Rindou. Her golden stare doesn't waver nor does it betray any emotion inside. Was she judging Rindou? Admiring her? Just what was the Gehennan thinking? It's difficult to tell, and a grin becomes a smile. She opens her mouth to comment, holding it there for a few seconds - Then closes it shut.

.. At this point, she -had- to be playing with Rindou.

Caira nods her head and speaks to Reito instead. "It certainly sounds like her retainer is.. More special than a retainer should be." She takes in a breath and leans back a little, opting to shrug.

"I have faith she'll fight the side of good that Issac has. It may be unsettling, but the side we fight for determines a lot."

"If she can be as great as yourself or Lord Shogun are, then she will be redeemed. Until then I will not speak to her. She even wanted me to speak to Tahldrig, that annoying woman in Gehenna that ruined our trip, in order to discuss holy magic.
