  1. The palace was cold this day as Raine awoke from her slumber and wriggles around in the bed. She had no will to truly wake this day and deal with the shit going on in the Kingdom. Honestly every little complaint and the feeble minds of her people was starting to piss her off immensely. She would hug her pillow burring her face in it half wishing it could suffocate her as she let her breath flow from her body and held it not letting her body take in air again until it could no longer go without such. Instead of frantically huffing as many would do though her mind steadied as she slowly took a breath in against the pillow. This allowed for the high that was created by the lack of oxygen to slowly suppress itself rather than cause her to become dizzy. She turns her head and looks at the drawn curtains the faint trails of grey light of a new day drifted in just enough for her to see clearly in her room.
  2. Raine would sigh as she knew that the prick of a servant would be coming in to wake her soon so she could get on to the matters of her Kingdom. Her thoughts swiftly turned to the thought of just killing the asshole and not letting him disturb her resting form. Her hand would reach out and grab the dagger that rested upon her side table pulling it under her pillow. She would lay there running her fingers along the blade not quite hard enough to cut them but enough to fray up small layers of skin. Laying her head down she would rest awake but her mind as blank as possible for the moment, her peace soon disrupted by the prick of a servant coming in. Why did he just feel he could bust into her room like that. As she heard the sound of the door she would turn over in her bed and sit up to stare at him.
  3. He stood there not moving with his arms crossed over his chest and his boot tapping against the floor. This pissed Raine off last she knew she was in charge of him not the other way around. “What the fuck is your damn problem Shane.” Raine would ask, her words sounding almost venomous in nature as she spat them at him. “One is your fucking attitude, you may be Queen but you’re still a fucking child.” Shane would spit back. Raine would tilt her head she didn’t want his shit this morning, she aimed the dagger at the door and threw it right past his head and then pulled the blanket and sheets back over herself and burritoed in them.
  4. “See that’s my fucking problem, you have no regard for life and your selfish as fuck.” Raine hears him as he walks closer to her bed and grabs the blanket to rip it from her. She feels the cool air hit her skin as he pulls the covers away from her. “Now get your ass up, your ladies have made you a warm bath to start your day off and your clothes have been laid out. You have to deal with the matters of your people today. They need your guidance on the matters of their life. You also have to work out the trade deal to ensure the Kingdom continues to receive the wood and oil that will get us through the winter ahead.” Raine knew he was right and that she needed to get up and deal with this shit. It just was starting to get so fucking old to her. Her people came to her for everything. Even matters dealing with small shit she felt they could handle on their own. I mean did they really need her to sort out such trivial shit. She would turn over and sit up as Shane grabbed her hand to pull her from her bed. “You know cousin as much as I know you are right I’m just so sick of this shit.” Raine would mumble.
  5. She sees him nod the light from the hall flooding into her room. “I know and you take your shit out on me, trust me I know. You’re becoming more violent.” Raine would huff a bit as she goes to get out of bed her long flowing black nightgown would sort out and the hemmed end would fall to the floor her legs moving the flowing material forward as she walked with Shane to her bath and they spoke about the things she needed to address today for her people.
  6. In the room where she took her bath awaited her ladies and Shane would stand outside the door as she closed it. Raine knew he would be there after she was finished to deliver her to her uncle or father, whichever one was dealing with keeping her from killing people today. Raine knew there was something wrong with her mind, she had all these memories that could not possibly be her own and sometimes the things that these memories brought to her made her crack. All she knew was that her mother Lillian had made sure she had people there to handle her even though she never could be there herself. You see none of Raine’s family was truly her own only people her mother had trusted enough to take care of her in knowing that she could not. Her Father and uncle were both men who had been there for as long as she could remember. She had no clue who her father really was nor did she really care any longer.
  7. She would take a breath and make her way to the bath. It was nothing more than a giant metal tub with a high arching back to it. Draped over the back of the tub was a cloth probably to shield her skin from the cool metal that had not been touched and heated by the water. Raine smells the air and realizes that her ladies had added scents of spearmint and peppermint to the heated water as she could see the remnants of the leaves floating upon the water. This couldn’t help but make her smile as she shrugged her night gown from her body and let it fall to the floor. She would slowly step into the water letting the warmth and smell sooth her mind as she sank into the tub relaxing for a moment before her ladies began to wash her frame.
  8. As her ladies finished cleaning her she would stand and they would hand her a towel helping her wrap it around herself as she got out. She would stand there as the ladies dried her long flowing red hair and then her body. Unlike many other Kingdoms Raine dressed mainly in assassin like outfits. She just couldn’t get behind the notion of tripping on a gown if something were to happen. So she let her seamstress create outfits that allowed for the look of nobility without the full on feminism of such. She would look to the outfit that had been laid out it was a two part set with a half cape. It had the puffy sleeves but was form fitted with the use of belts stitched into the fabric around the torso area, the shorts as well were form fitting with straps along the thighs. The boots strapped to her mid-thigh. It was all black and she agreed with the color
