  1. The Order of Black Knights is a mysterious and secretive organization but every traveller knows what the presence of one of their knights means. These colossal titans clad in dark armor would often appear on the borders between counties to challenge travellers in combat. They were deadly yet honorable, only dueling those they deemed worthy for the right of passage. These silent sentinels would only engage strong adventurers, acquiescing passage for groups of pilgrims or the old and weak. Still, among the many who found themselves facing the blade of a Black Knight only a few would be able to recount the tale.
  2. “Well met traveller!” The Black Knight called as I looked over the knight in front of me. Far from towering over me like normal, this particular Black Knight was small, even shorter than I was. Even then, a Black Knight actually speaking was something completely unheard of. These stoic swordsmen were known for never even uttering a grunt or make any noise besides the clanging of their ominous armor in battle.
  3. “Uh…” I tried to find the words I wanted to say. I was expecting a fierce battle but now I was just baffled at this strange knight standing in front of the bridge. “Are you actually a Black Knight? Or are you one of those weirdos who dresses up in other people’s armor and pretends to be someone they’re not?”
  4. “How rude!” The Black Knight fumbled with their helmet for a bit before finally removing it, shaking her blonde ponytail side to side and wiping the sweat from her brow before turning towards me. “My name is Ophelia, and while I might be new to this, I am indeed a Black Knight! You can tell by this armor and sword I bear!” She gave a proud grin as she tapped on her armor.
  5. Indeed, the gigantic greatsword planted in the ground was the same kind wielded by Black Knights, but the large size of it meant that her hands resting on the hilt was leveled at her chest while normally it would only go up to their hips. This discrepancy made her seem smaller than she actually was.
  6. “Okay, well…” I debated internally a bit if I should tell her that Black Knights weren’t even supposed to speak. I thought I would save myself any further trouble. I tried my hardest to keep a straight face as I submitted my request with a bow, praying that she not notice my snickering. “Honorable Black Knight, I have indeed heard of your prestigious order, may this lowly traveller pass?”
  7. Ophelia gave a cutesy giggle at being called honorable. “Ahem,” Ophelia quickly cleared her throat hoping I wouldn’t notice her beaming, “Indeed fellow traveller, please continue your travels. I wish you good luck and safe travels.”
  8. I was already far past her before she finally realized her mistake. “Ack! No! No! You can’t pass! As a Black Knight only the worthy may pass! You’ll have to prove your worth to me in combat first!”
  9. I looked at the Black Knight bent over trying to catch her breath after chasing after me. Her gigantic blade had carved a rugged line in the ground from where she was standing to where she was now as she dragged it behind her.
  10. With visible effort Ophelia managed to heave up the greatsword with both hands over her shoulder, its weight clearly weighing down on her. “O-okay traveller. I’m ready now. I accept your challenge!” Ophelia’s voice trembled just as much as her leggings were clanging from her shaking. She tentatively removed her left hand from the grip that was obviously too large and tried to assume the combat stance of a Black Knight “Prepare to be defeated!”
  11. I had crossed swords with Black Knights only a few times in my travels, but from my experience with them I knew the general idea of how they fought. Their opening move was usually an overhead swing that could be avoided by dodging to the side, giving me an opportunity to strike. I unsheathed my own sword to prepare myself.
  12. The gigantic slab of metal swung through the air just as I thought, the clear weight of the thing doing more of the work than the struggling girl. There! I quickly moved to the side while also flashing my blade to get a quick hit in.
  13. I had pulled my sword back into a defensive posture for the next attack but instead I heard a loud dull sound as Ophelia’s heavy sword embedded itself into the ground a few feet away from her, her tiny right hand still gripped onto the hilt.
  14. “Ah.”
  15. We both stared wordlessly at it for a few moments. Ophelia’s gaze shifted from her detached hand to her fresh stump and then back, her mouth quivering as she tried to pick out words to say.
  16. “Ahem,” Ophelia attempted to regain her composure, instinctively raising her right arm before noticing her absence of a hand. She opted to use her left hand instead to cover her mouth as she cleared her throat. “T-that was a lucky shot. A good hit, but a lucky one nonetheless. I shall not be as careless next time.”
  17. “Next time?” My words fell on empty ears as Ophelia walked over to her greatsword that was stuck into the ground. With only her non dominant hand available, she was struggling to pull the sword out, wrapping her handless arm around the hilt as she did her best with what grip she could.
  18. “Hyah!” Ophelia finally managed to pull the sword out but the force of it threw her off balance. She quickly got up and made a show of dusting herself off although it only served to smear some of her blood on her armor.
  19. Even Ophelia’s wasn’t stubborn enough to realize there would be no way for her to lift her weapon now. It was dragging along the ground as she charged up to me. I could see the strain in her face as mustered all the energy she could in lifting the blade for a swing-
  20. Such a telegraphed move from a large weapon wielded in someone’s offhand was too easy to see through. To the side, and strike! The momentum of her attack carried Ophelia’s sword flying through the air. It flew for quite the distance with almost her entire left arm trailing behind it like a ribbon.
  21. I put my sword away as I looked at the disarmed knight in front of me. Ophelia was now missing most of her left arm and was also missing her right hand. I could see her blinking back some tears of frustration.
  22. “Those were just holding me back anyway! I’m faster and more agile now!” Ophelia tried to sprint towards me but her movement was a bit lopsided as she was off balance from her now asymmetric form.
  23. I watched the girl missing an arm and a hand stumble towards me. “Okay, now you’re actually making me feel bad. Can you please just let me go now? Here, I’ll even help you and-OW! Stop that!” The heavy metal leggings she wore still hurt quite a bit as she kicked me in the shin.
  24. “Take that! And this!” Her kicks continued.
  25. “I’m serious! I already feel pretty bad so don’t make me-OW!”
  26.
  27. Ophelia gave me a pouting face as she sat on the ground, both of her legs now lying a few feet away from her. She barely looked up at me as I was bandaging her arm that now ended at her wrist. “I can still fight,” she grumbled, “I don’t need your help.”
  28. “Really? What are you going to do? Bite me? Beat me with your stump?”
  29. I ignored Ophelia’s mumbling as I continued to wrap her stump with the bandages I had. Even disregarding the fact that she was missing most of her limbs, she seemed much smaller without her armor, almost like an ordinary girl. The bandages I had used to cover her left shoulder wrapped around her chest and the tight swaddle of it emphasized the curves of her not so modest breasts. I could see her chest rising and falling with each of her soft breaths. I tried not to stare too much and to focus on the task at hand, but…
  30. “An opening!” Ophelia couldn’t do much without her legs but she suddenly pushed out at me, swinging what weight her little torso still had at me. Completely unprepared for this, I felt myself fall backwards as Ophelia landed on me, still pawing away with her stump.
  31. “Take this! And this! And-!” Ophelia’s voice suddenly cut out to a girlish shriek. I didn’t have to wonder why. In the ensuing struggle, with all of her fumbling, she had managed to somehow pull my pants down. “T-that’s….” I could see Ophelia’s face flushing a deep red as she stared at my manhood. I could feel myself blushing too as I tried not to think about the girl who was pressed up against me.
  32. “I...I...WHY IS IT GETTING BIGGER?” She tentatively reached her stump towards my member. “I-is this turning you on? First you maim an innocent maiden and now you wish to ravish her too?”
  33. “Hey, you’re the one that-” My voice was cut short as she pressed her nub against my manhood.
  34. “V-very well!” Ophelia stuttered as she decided to use the crook of her elbow to guide my sex towards her, “I, Ophelia, accept your challenge! Prepare to be defeated!”

  39. “Well met traveller!” The Black Knight saluted me as I approached.
  40. I groaned and put my face in my hands. “Please Ophelia, do we have to do this every time I want to take this route to pass? I actually need to make it to the town on over before nightfall today.”
  41. Her only retort was to lift the visor of her helm and give me a playful smile.
