Swims through a volcano

The creature’s charcoal black hide smoked from the tremendous heat inside the volcano’s core.  Scorching lava rolled from his ridged and pitted flesh.  With each mighty stride of his massive legs, the bony plates on Godzilla’s back clattered together thunderously.  The irregular spikes that edged those flat plates glowed red from the hellish temperatures the indestructible beast endured inside the lake of molten rock.
