Prey-Isys Boss Monsters

Militant Kugai
"Kugai wasn't born a strong and tough warrior - he was actually quite small and miserable at first and even had problems with flying due to limitations of his body. He always wanted to fly high into the sky, so he kept trying and trying until one day he was strong enough to do so. Kugai became the mighty warrior he always wanted to be and flew high in the sky alongside the strongest ones.
On the day when black fragment appeared, Kugai flew up high into the sky to find the vanished Prey. Alas, he fell into utter despair as he crashed on the ground without even reaching the end of the sky. For the first time in his life Kugai felt the taste of complete defeat after doing his best - he was frustrated by being absolutely useless. A strange anger started to boil inside Kugai and wrapping his whole body in fiery heat, which he concealed from others.
It was no longer a mighty warrior from before who stood alongside the strongest ones - instead it was a mad fighter led by unknown red energy who desired more power and lived only for bloodshed."

Heatwave Seeker Zhardrakon
"At the farthest end of Taybers.
Heatwave Seeker Zhardrakon, the flame ruler of polar region, was residing.
Prey respected Zhardrakon's ownership of that domain and always asked for his permission to visit it.
Zhardrakon's body emits enormous amount of heat, which is being spread across every part of Taybers, thus allowing for eggs to hatch and for life to keep existing. Hadn't he stay in polar region of Taybers, the whole planet would be covered in ice and become lifeless - the proof of it being the coming of winter whenever Zhardrakon enters hibernation.
When the purple rain came down from the sky, it evaporated in Zhardrakon's heat, thus avoiding his domain. Creatures swarmed the polar regions in order to escape from disaster by hiding themselves in surroundings, and Zhardrakon had to emit more heat in order to protect them.
In the end creatures survived the purple rain and returned to their original habitat, but Zhardrakon had to enter hibernation earlier than usual. While he was asleep, a black aura enveloped him and invaded his dreams. When Zhardrakon finally woke up, his feathers were burning red and emitting corrupted flame which melt the ice around. Creatures were astonished and screaming in horror by what they saw.
Zhardrakon flew up in the sky and filled his domain with corrupted flame. He didn't hesitate at all during it and just kept flying higher, following the orders of the voice from his dreams."

Moonbow Eyck
"Eyck was always happy.
He loved playing with his friends on his beloved golden fields.
Eyck loved everyone and everyone loved Eyck.
And then the sky became purple.
His big friend who made him smile everyday disappeared into the sky.
His beloved golden fields have disappeared and clear spring watering place turned black.
Everyone whom he loved was sad.
Eyck was also sad.
Eyck was no longer happy in a world where everything has changed.
But then his sad days have ended because Eyck became happy again.
The golden fields did not return.
The spring water was still black.
But the big friend who was playing with Eyck all the time has returned.
Even if he looked and sounded differently, his hand felt the same.
Black-eyed Eyck was shedding black tears out of happiness."

Aries Kelly
"Young Kelly loved stars.
Other people thought it was some ugly lights, but Kelly spent nights by watching the stars at her parents' place.
In Kelly's eyes, every star was a separate world.
One of them was surely a happy place to live in, unlike here.
Someday she'll be able to go there.
She believed she would escape from endless hunger and fear by being there.
Her younger brothers and sisters died from illness and her older brother was eaten by a monster.
Her mother went out to find some food only to never return, while her father died from Terranite poisoning.
And yet Kelly believed.
She believed that one day she will go to a place where everyone can live happily.

As the years have passed, Kelly found herself a magical talent.
In order to survive, she starts developing it.
Soon she showed enough potential to enter Kashipa.
Food was no longer a problem and she didn't have to fear everything like before.
But there was still no feeling of happiness she was looking for.

As for current Kelly.
She wondered about the happiness young Kelly was dreaming of.
Is there really such a thing?
Maybe it's a fantasy?
Maybe it's an illusion?

Then someone has appeared and whispered in Kelly's ears.
Those whispers made her happy for the first time in years.
Kelly was smiling.
Soon after that Kelly disappeared."

Villianess Greta
"Ahh... He's so great...
Could it be that he's the perfect existence I could ever dream of..!?
He is mine.
My alone.
I will not allow anyone else to have him.
He exist only for me and me alone!

Night Skyscraper, one of Kashipa's laboratories, was burned down and completely destroyed.
The whole research team was gone and all documents regarding the Devil Research were incinerated.
And one day, a scythe that was taken from the very devil and stored away has disappeared as well.
Nobody knows what exactly has happened and who was the culprit.
However, during the investigation a testimony of the only survivor of the tragedy was taken, but it wasn't taken seriously due to his insanity.
"Greta... Giant winged demon... Everyone's throat... Under his feet..."

Omega Guardian
"Somewhere on golden star Taybers there is an unknown temple that even Mother of Blue Fire Lupsong doesn't know where it originated from. Since ancient times the doors of it were shut tight, and nobody could neither open them nor look what was inside.
But the day Prey flew up high in the sky to reach the temple, its doors opened by themselves like a miracle. Omega Guardian walked out of the temple to greet Prey near the entrance. Ever since then the ancient temple doors were always open and Omega Guardian kept watching over it.
But when Isys has awoken and flew high above Taybers, the ancient temple didn't open its doors for him. Isys was furious at ancient temple by rejecting him, so he was just about to destroy it when Omega Guardian walked out of the temple and closed its doors behind himself.
Looking at Isys coming down from the sky, Omega Guardian stands alone to protect the ancient temple. He recalls that blessful day when he walked out to greet Prey..."

Cumulonimbus
"She woke up after a deep slumber and flew up to Taybers' sky to stay there. She made white clouds her personal haven and, in return, poured a blessful rain on dry parts of the planet. The water of that rain has overflown the ground, never letting it to dry out ever again.
This rain became the source of life on Taybers - flora and fauna were able to be born and live.
Prey personally flew up high to meet and thank Cumulonimbus. Lupsong sang her a song of praise. Everyone thanked her from the bottom of their hearts for her dedication of waking up from deep slumber and blessing them with the rain. She gladly accepted all of their gratitude and promised to keep blessing them with rain forever.
A lot of time has passed, and Taybers became a golden star of peace and harmony.
Until the day everything was consumed..."

Stellar Guardian Zodiac
"Something existed in the deepest parts of Taybers' sky. It created a constellation by moving itself into golden sky and guided the way for everyone beneath the skies. Those who traveled in the sky flew through the path it created, and those who traveled by the sea used it as a guide. Thanks to this constellation, nobody on Taybers lost his or her way along the travels. Everyone was grateful to this presence who kept them safe and sound during the travels, so they called it Stellar Guardian Zodiac.
But everything has changed on the day purple rain came down on Taybers.
When the sky was entirely shrouded in darkness that covered the whole planet, Zodiac disappeared and never returned even after purple rain has stopped. With its disappearance, the trace of golden shining constellation path disappeared as well. Sky and seas were rumbling, creatures started to get lost and dying during the travelling. Everyone was doing their best to find Zodiac, but it never showed up.
Taybers' order has collapsed. Everyone settled down to the same place and hesitated to travel around.
And after a long period of time Zodiac has finally showed up, but it was glittering with some hazy aura. Zodiac turned the once golden sky to black and used its power of guidance to swallow the nearby territories and revert the flow of travelling.
Once again Taybers fell into confusion. And Zodiac kept making black constellations, but not for everyone - just for one being. For Prey-Isys."

Golden Wing Tritura
"Guardian of Taybers' West and East Winds - Golden Wing Tritura.
Tritura cut the sky with his steel wings and destroyed enemies with his powerful claws. His shiny golden scales were a symbol of hope for his defenseless allies and a symbol of despair for his opponents. His enemies were terrified and fell on their knees upon facing his indomitable bravery. Those who were protected by Tritura were relieved and praised the name of Golden Wing.
Tritura's bravery didn't fade even after the disappearance of Prey along with black fragment. Instead, he had not a single trace of fear in his eyes upon shouting to everyone: "My claws will keep you safe until the day He returns!"
And just as he said that, a dismal wind blew. Tritura flew up into the sky and stared at direction the wind was coming from. "That wind is ominous. It is my duty to check it up." Everyone was scared of that ominous feeling and tried to keep Tritura from going there, but his indomitable bravery couldn't allow him to be a coward. Tritura said that he'll return in ten days and then left.
Ten days have passed.
Another ten days have passed.
Golden Wing who was protecting the wind for everyone didn't return, and the winds he was guarding started to emit ominous aura."

Heavenly Bow Alexandra
"A fairy who was the most talented bow user on Taybers and who could shoot many arrows at the same time, yet very often she prefered to play pranks on innocent creatures. Due to her frivolous and mischievous attitude, Alexandra was rude to others and couldn't get along with them - only Queen of Flowers Blossom was kind to her. Blossom knew that everyone made wrong assumption about Alexandra and that deep inside she is a very nice and sweet person.
That is why one day Blossom gifted Alexandra a branch of Zelmakure tree, who was delighted to recieve it. She made a thread out of her own hair and used it along with tree branch to make a musical instrument. When Alexandra started to play on her instrument and sing, creatures heard her song and gathered around to happily sing alongside her. Those who hated Alexandra started to love her, and since then she stopped causing troubles and just sang for everyone.
Prey was delighted with the change in Alexandra's attitude, so he gifted her his claws and feathers. Alexandra shed tears of joy from receiving such gift and made bow and arrows out of them, which she keeps carrying along with proud from now on."

Reaver Rossol
"Rossol had no feathers. His whole body was covered in coarse stiff hair and his face had flat nose and macular degeneration. Nobody stayed near him due to putrid odor, and Rossol struggled with pain of loneliness.
Isys-Prey lent him a hand. He brought Rossol into the light and everyone welcomed him.
But when the black fragment appeared in the sky and purple rain came down, he didn't try to find disappeared Isys-Prey. Due to blindness, Rossol's other enhanced senses made him horrified as he escaped to the cave. When he finally left the cave, the black fragment disappeared but the world was in sorrow.
And then Rossol committed a sin he should've never done.
He stole Slenikron's tail feathers who flew into the sky to follow Isys-Prey and fell. Nobody forgave Rossol who followed his temptation instead of helping others who sacrificed themselves by trying to follow Prey. Slenikon, Slenikron's brother, flew up high into the sky to search out Rossol. He was afraid of Slenikon, so he tied Slenikron's feather to his tail and stayed in the Cave of the Night.
One, two, three days have passed. Sun and moon changed each other in the sky and seasons have passed while Rossol was still hiding in the Cave of the Night, trembling with fear.
And then Rossol heard a whisper.
"You did nothing wrong. Follow me."
Rossol was dragged out of Cave of the Night by a voice that sounded similar to Isys-Prey's. The horrors of outside world bristled Rossol's hair, but this time he wasn't afraid - only because of the voice which guided him."

Blossom, Queen of Flowers
"The one who governs over flowers and trees in Taybers.
Everyone praised her nobility and elegance, and it's for these qualities that Blossom was to be chosen as Queen of Flowers. Dandelion Fairies Urimune harvest cotton fiber out of seeds and use it to create a dress for Blossom, and every year they gather under Sacred Tree Zelmakure to offer their gift to Queen of Flowers. To show her gratitude, Blossom wore the dress and sang songs. She spread flower seeds in the wind that scattered across whole Taybers and turned into beautiful golden-gleaming fields.
But when the purple rain came down and Isys awakened to destroy everything, Dandelion Fairies hid in flowerbuds and stopped singing. In order to save Taybers, which was more precious to her than her own life, Blossom descended to Pandemonium along with Alexandra to find Prey."

Thrym the Beast
"Svartá Jungles.
Full of giant rocky cliffs and tall trees with no gaps, this was the largest "lightless" area. All beings who were afraid of the light flocked there and made their own ecosystem - the beings of darkness whose hearts were lightless thus being obsessed and corrupted with the power of sins. They started to consider themselves different from those who lived under brilliant light, and thus they named themselves Svarts after the name of their habitat, denying all creatures of light and worshipping Prey-Isys.
The appearance of Svarts was bizarre - they were shaped ugly, had dreadful odor and swarmed with worms and insects. The inhabitants of Taybers were afraid of rough and cruel Svarts, so they avoided the jungle.
Thrym was the most atrocious and cruel among all Svarts, and because of these qualities everyone called him "Beast of Sin" - thankfully for others, he never left the territory of jungles.
But when Taybers was covered in black energy, Thrym walked out of the jungle by himself - he was afraid of the light, but his insticts and guidance of black aura kept him going. And when Thrym finally reached the point of his destination, for the first time the beast who never yielded to anyone fell on his knees and made oath of obedience.
"Lo...rd...Isys...I offer...this body...to you."

Red Leg Arketo-Praxis
"He was a strong and brave warrior, a kind guardian of ancient temple. When the black fragment appeared, Arketo was the first who rushed to defend the temple. Then, when he heard about disappeared Prey, Arketo was the first one who tried to follow Prey and protect everyone. But it was for that very reason that he was the first one who got hit by sharp block of ice which resulted in Arketo losing both of his wings and plummeting to the ground. When Arketo finally woke up, both his wings he was so proud of and his beloved Prey were gone.

Arketo was in despair.
He despaired of being unable to fly with the wind.
He despaired of losing Prey and being unable to find him.
He didn't do a thing. And he couldn't do a thing.
Helpless, Arketo just sat at one spot and stared into the sky for a long time.
"Stand up."
Suddenly, Arketo heard a familiar voice.
He came to his senses and looked around, but the owner of voice was nowhere to be seen.
"Follow me, and you will fly again."
The voice became more and more clear.
"Your true nature is same as mine."
Arketo realised that something was wrong, but the voice didn't let him go.
He remembered the owner of this presence whose hand he hold tightly before.
"You...are..."

A red feather fell from above onto the ground. Falling feathers that shone brightly in different colors cloaked Arketo's shoulders.
Was it pain? Or was it joy?
Arketo's face looked different as he rose to the sky. He was looking at reappeared black fragment - the location of voice that called him out."


Prey-Isys
"Isys-Prey was only a half of the whole being.
The one who stood at the edge of light and brought darkness.
Prey-Isys.

Prey symbolized light, ruled over light and sang song of abundance.
Isys symbolized darkness, ruled over death and sang song of requiem.
When one half awakens, other half fall into slumber.
Prey's awakening brought day of light, and the light gave birth to life.
Isys's awakening brought night of darkness, and the darkness put life to rest.
The cycle of life on Taybers was in equilibrium thanks to Prey's rulership over one half of day and Isys's rulership over another half of day.

But the balance slowly tilted to one side.
Most of Taybers followers have started to worship lightbringer Prey, and their faith increased his time of rulership.
The balance was broken, and day became longer.
Because of that, more beings were born and less were dying.

Meanwhile, Isys's time of rulership was gradually decreasing.
Less beings were put to rest, and his power was steadily fading away.
Isys was fading out of everyone's memory and existence itself.

But...
With its last breath, Isys's mind has opened itself up to a new credo.
Anger and hatred.
Isys decided to take control over the body and rule over Taybers on behalf of Prey.

Prey felt it and used all of his strength to fly to a place which nobody could reach.
Isys noticed and used this opportunity to start taking control over the body.
A fight over the body has started, and surrounding areas were wrecked by chaotic force caused by it.
Expecting the worst, Prey cried out Isys' name three times as he pulled him from his body.

After first cry the evil thoughts of Isys came out of the body.
After second cry the flesh, bones and feathers of Isys were formed.
After third cry the wings of Isys were spread.

Isys slowly rose to the sky and flapped his wings while looking at weakened Prey who was still recovering from the split.

After first flap the winds died down.
After second flap the stars in the sky have disappeared.
After third flap the night came and covered whole Taybers.

Isys summoned the night and attacked Prey.
Their fight went on and on for a long time - day and night changed each other, the world turned upside down and everything was flooded with chaos and fear.
Many days went by like that.
Finally, at some point the night was gone and only day was existing.
Prey was victorious. He unearthed the deepest spot in the ground and buried Isys there, who was trapped in eternal slumber, darker than the night itself.

Then one day condemned Isys felt that the presence of Prey has disappeared, so he immediately rose from the ground. This time he'll settle the score, consume Prey's body and become complete. But Prey was nowhere to be found on Taybers.
Instead, Isys felt his presence somewhere in the universe, and he noticed that his presence was getting closer. Because they were once a whole being, they were naturally attracted to each other in order to become whole again.
Isys slowly spreads his wings.
To meet with his other self."
