Kitty MewMew Chapter 1

It was a dark and stormy night.
The darkest and stormiest night of the year to be exact.
Alphys was relaxing in her apartment with a cup of hot cocoa while watching the first episode of the new Monster Slayer anime.
She wasn't really into it at all, she never had much of a taste for overly dark anime, there were a few exceptions to this but mostly she avoided anything with an R rating, instead preferring the classics and magical girl.
Halfway through she muttered "This new Monster Slayer is too edgy for me." Then closed the window and just sat there staring at the screen for a minute.
Her new laptop was only a couple months old and yet it was already a cluttered mess of files.
Sweeping her gaze across the many folders littering the desktop her eyes stop on a certain folder at the top left of the screen labelled "My Shitty Fanfics"
Just based on it's position one can assume it was created shortly after the computer was bought. She never held high hopes for anyone to ever read or enjoy her writings and thus gave it a self deprecating title.
Leaning back in her chair she wonders if updating it would even matter at this point, she hasn't updated in well over a month and at this point it's likely to never be finished.
"Some people just weren't born to be creative" she muttered to herself with a sigh.
Feeling around the inside of her mouth with her tongue she realizes that it's been over a day since she last brushed her teeth and it feels like shit in there. She slowly trudges her way to the bathroom and vigorously brushes her teeth until her mouth is sore, also takes a piss while she's at it.
She notices the bags under her eyes while walking past the  mirror. Checking her phone she notices it's almost 1am, she thinks about her fucked sleep schedule and how she should really fix it but also wont, atleast not until she has to return to school for work.
The second she decides to sleep her mind is immediately kicked into full wakefulness, as if her subconcious is just trying to spite her.
Why does that always happen?
She pulls out her phone and opens the Harmony app and sends a few memes to her internet friends who live 700 million lightyears away in the fucking Boötes void or some shit, she doubts she'll ever meet them.
She was just about to start masturbating to some yuri hentai when she heard the bang of a trash can outside.
"Who'd be banging around outside in this weather?" She thought out loud. The rain outside is pouring pretty hard so it seems pretty strange for someone to be out there.
Anyone out in such weather could get really sick or maybe they're committing a crime? she can't just ignore the possibility can she?
After deliberating for a while she makes a rare impulsive decision, grabs an umbrella, puts on a jacket, and goes down to make sure things are fine, it's an excuse to leave the apartment after all, might as well pick up some more instant ramen while she's at it right?

Stepping out of the building 'twas just as she expected... cold as shit.
With a sigh she turned the corner and entered the alleyway.
She wasn't sure what she was expecting but was pretty sure a large hooded figure slumped over a bowl of milk was not on the table.
She recognized the bowl of milk, it was the one left for MewMew, the cat she'd never seen, the cat she'd assumed existed but could she have been wrong? It appears a homeless person has been drinking it all along. How embarrassing.
"I shouldn't say a thing and just leave" thought Alphys to herself.
But she slipped in a puddle and fell over onto a trashcan the very next second.
The hooded figure, startled by the sudden noise swiftly turned around, it seemed someone had heard their previous clumsiness and came to investigate. Better get out of here quick before getting recognized or the police called or something.
But too bad they caught each other eyes at that moment.
"Alphys?"
"Susie!?"
