THE FIFTH GATHERS: SCENE 20: MYNOCK CAVE

Imperial TIE Bombers are shown - in their one appearance throughout the entire series - bombing the asteroid where our heroes are hiding.

Meanwhile, Leah is jumpscared by a strange creature outside the window and starts screaming. Blow the Skin is discussing something with a disgruntled Thoreau.

	BLOW THE SKIN: Sensei, Kiyogaga?? comments...

	MR. THOREAU: My opinion is not sensitive.

Leah runs into the room to inform them of the possible danger.

	PRINCESS LEAH: Yuichi Naka is east and west.

	MR. THOREAU: Where?

	PRINCESS LEAH: The outer surface of the cave.

Strange sounds are heard from outside. Blow the Skin starts panicking. Thoreau, however, is determined to confront the unknown creature.

	BLOW THE SKIN: That's right. listen!

	MR. THOREAU: I need to leave

	PRINCESS LEAH: Are you crazy, are you crazy?

	MR. THOREAU: I have to leave my body. I do not like it.

(And apparently, he is dead-set on doing so through astral projection.)

	PRINCESS LEAH: Soon after, Kazuwa Gawa left.

Thoreau, Leah and Drag Along run out, leaving Blow the Skin to ponder the bewildering facts of life.

	BLOW THE SKIN: It is possible to manufacture a ship that can carry a frigate.

More alien noises are heard.

	BLOW THE SKIN: Not gorgeous.

The ground outside is wet and moist. Somehow, the whole cave is covered in fog. Leah and Thoreau can talk to each other just fine, despite being on an asteroid wearing breathing masks.

	PRINCESS LEAH: Personal basic certainty is strange. It is not like rock.

	MR. THOREAU: There is a lot of moisture here.

Leah feels quite uncomfortable, and says the famous line. Thoreau agrees with her.

	PRINCESS LEAH: We are not aware of the road. I do not like this feeling.

	MR. THOREAU: Ah.

Suddenly, the creature returns. Thoreau shouts and he takes out his gun and shoots it.

	MR. THOREAU: Small heart!

The creature falls down dead. Thoreau tries to calm everybody down.

	MR. THOREAU: Unrelated participation. Unrelated participation.

He then observes it for a moment, before telling Drag Along how to proceed with th situation.

	MR. THOREAU: Justice, justice, my own way of thinking. Chewie, charter parts, insurance... Chew the power cord.

	PRINCESS LEAH: Mynocks?

	MR. THOREAU: Susumusa. If there is, we will clean them up.

Suddenly, a swarm of mynocks appears. Leah screams and Blow the Skin panics.

	BLOW THE SKIN: HashiHiraki! A breakthrough, a barbaric thing! Hey!

Drag Along aims at a mynock, but misses and instead hits the wall. The whole cave seems to move, making Thoreau reconsider the whole situation.

	MR: THOREAU: Wait. The next one.

Thoreau shoots the ground. The camera men and the actors do all they can to give us the impression that the stationary set is rocking back and forth.

They all run back into the Falcon. Thoreau yells at Drag Along to start the engines, before continuing his shouting match with Leah.

	MR. THOREAU: Chewie, Soga!

	PRINCESS LEAH: Emperor returns to Naka!

	MR. THOREAU: The seminar will discuss this issue!

	PRINCESS LEAH: I am a member of the committee!

(Are... we SURE that Leah wasn't secretly fathered by a certain Senate?)

Thoreau, Leah, and Drag Along all enter the cockpit. The shouting match continues.

	PRINCESS LEAH: The speed of light cannot sweep the small metropolitan area.

	MR. THOREAU: Sitting, dear. I just flew away.

Blow the Skin enters the cockpit, pointing in fear at the windscreen. The cave - which doesn't look much like a cave anymore - is closing in.

	BLOW THE SKIN: Care!

	MR. THOREAU: I am done.

	BLOW THE SKIN: I am done.

	PRINCESS LEAH: Cave living.

	MR. THOREAU: This is not a cave.

	PRINCESS LEAH: INMO?

It turns out that the Falcon - and the mynocks too, apparently - were inside a giant rock worm all along. Our protagonists just manage to escape before it has a chance to eat them again.
