- Nathaniel glanced at Octavia and the two of them shared a look. He looked from Octavia to the newcomer to Scarlett and back and let out a quiet sigh. "I think you might have mistaken us for someone else. We don't need pro-"
- "If my father sent you his gold is no good and neither is he." Octavia growled out, slamming her fist onto the table. Nathaniel lifted his glass off the table to avoid spilling his drink and he stole a sip, his nose wrinkling at the pungent taste. He'd never drank a drop of alcohol in his life and he realized that he wasn't a missing a god dammned thing. - There was always an attraction between them, ever since they were children, but he'd never been bold enough to act upon it. Things as they were good. Things changed when feelings got involved. He knew there was that chance that someone would come along and take her from him but he was so afraid of things changing that he'd come to terms with the fact that that was a possibility. Hopefully that wouldn't come to fruition.
- "If we come across another group of drunkards though, we'll keep you in mind."
