- The Twelve.
- The primordial Twelve, original daemons of Dream World, born immediately after Inthar. They come in a fixed order, and are each separately very famous. The Twelve possess vast power, enough to shake whole continents on their own. Some choose to delegate, others keep it all for themselves, whereas others remain recluse. On top of this, the Twelve are individually tasked with a greater function pertaining to Dream World and daemons as a whole. More on them below:
- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- 1. Disse, the Celestial Mother.
- The first Daemon, following Inthar. Disse was granted leadership over the Twelve, as well as the whole of the sky and light. She manifests herself, an eternally beautiful woman, with golden hair and armor, wielding a radiant lance of pure light. She is also one who presides over justice and truth, although this aspect of her is spoken off sparsely.
- Disse is notable for being the one to teach the ways of sorcery to Dream World, through four of her daughters, as well as for having brought the first Celestial royal dynasty to light, through another one of her daughters, and sustained it through a sixth. She was the first to turn on Inthar, and she waged a mighty war against him, at the end of which she is said to have dealt a killing blow, but vanished inexplicably.
- Disse also lead the war against the Lost Ones, triumphing on her own against their greatest champion and leader, Nerev Zul. She has many, many followers nowadays, who await her glorious return, and possible taking of the reins, to elevate Dream World into a better state.
- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- 2. Ethal, King of Daemons.
- Whereas Disse rules the Twelve and the skies, Ethal is styled as the king of all lower daemons and the entirety of Dream World. Once upon a time Ethal was a figure that maintained order and peace. However, that all changed when his queen consort, Liliandra, was somehow murdered, and her corpse was thrown off the northern end of Dream World (somehow, again). It threw Ethal into a great depression from which he would not recover in a long while, long enough for war to break between the West and East, without him to put a stop to it.
- However, he came to his senses when the rebellion against Inthar came about, and played a pivotal role in granting safety and protection to most of the weaker daemons, incapable of defending themselves. In the end, he spoke of a great prophecy, a grand finding, and was never heard off from again as he sealed himself in his tower. Nevertheless, his servants roam the royal courts and the assemblies of nations, proclaiming his orders and decrees, signifying he is still out there.

- 3. Zarnak, the Great Hero, He Who is Invincible, Cannot Be Defeated etc.
- The great Hero. Zarnak was, for the earliest part of Dream World's history, a daemon presiding over the earth, in the rawest sense of it (rocks, stones, plants). Eventually, such role was delegated to Ukur, and Zarnak took another task, no less important. The sword-hand of Inthar, the envoy of greatness, he was tasked with fighting evil and saving Dream World, countless (17) times, gaining great renown as a Hero.
- Zarnak has no territory of his own, for he is always wandering, he has no followers for none can match him in strength, and he fears no enemy, for he is a hero. His word is wise, and he is often called on for counsel by great kings, and even other members of the Twelve. The Destruction of Rhaliden, felling the Dragon Horde of Tephekan, traveling to the Vast Nightmare...these are few of Zarnak's feats.

- 4. Seria, the Hunter of the Deep
- An ancient and primordial daemon, Seria is one of the few to have remained completely unchanged in both role, appearance and opinion throughout the ages. The one to preside over the seas, oceans and any bodies of water, as well as hunting, Seria is a secluded, yet immensely powerful Daemon, looked up to by those who travel at sea, and called upon by aquatic daemons. However, she rarely responds or influences things directly, for the better or worse.
- The only myth relating to her, relates how when the Lost Ones and Twelve went to seek peace between one another, an arranged marriage between the warlord Khafvet and Seria was put forward. Seria was more than happy to oblige, however Khafvet had eyes for Disse. Seria caught him, contemplating adultery, lifted him to the skies, mauled his body and let the blood drip for a year. And that is how rain came to be.
- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- 5. Uren, the Singer
- Uren originally presided over weather and the sky in general (like how Zarnak presided over the earth). These duties were eventually bestowed unto Mazarc, and Uren was left with a different set of duties. She presides over harvest, fertility, drinking and festivity as well as the arts. Represented as a woman covered in white feathers, with piercing red eyes and many, many wings. Her symbol is known to be the white peacock, and Uren herself is quite personable, featuring widely all over Dream World.
- Despite all this, there is little that is actually known about her.
