向かうつもりだったが、諸々の調整に
しばしの時間が必要になった」
Shima: I had intended to proceed to the Gate in Hawaii after this, but a number of necessary repairs will delay us.

シマ
「その件をブライト・ノア大佐に伝えたところ、
ラー・カイラムから派遣されたメンバーの一部を
先に帰還させて欲しいという要望を受けた」
Shima: I brought this matter to Captain Bright Noa’s attention and he has requested that some of the Ra Cailum members be sent back before us.

シマ
「なので、そちらで該当者のエスコートを頼みたい」
Shima: I would like for those individuals to receive an escort.

スメラギ
「わかりました。
彼らをハワイまで送り届けた後、
折り返してあなた達と合流します」
Sumeragi: Understood. We’ll escort them to Hawaii and then turn around to reunite with you.

シマ
「お願いする」
Shima: I thank you.

ゼロ
「我々も可能な限り、ブリタニア軍を陽動しよう。
もっとも、[ソレスタルビーイング]と
これ以上の連携は取れんがな」
Zero: We will also do our utmost to distract Britannia in the meantime. However, we will not perform anymore joint operations with [Celestial Being].

スメラギ
「…これまでも私達はそちらの作戦に
[ガンダムマイスター]達を参加させていたのです。
他意はありませんよ」
Sumeragi: ...Our [Gundam Meisters] have participated in your operations before. We don’t harbor any ill will.

ゼロ
「だが、こちらはガンダムの戦力と引き換えに、
情報が漏洩するというリスクを冒してきた」
Zero: But should I borrow the Gundam’s strength, I would run the risk of exposing information to your side.

ゼロ
「並行世界から到来した特化戦力という
共通の接点が去った後、ソレスタルビーイングが
[黒の騎士団]に牙を剥く可能性は否めない」
Zero: You cannot deny the possibility that Celestial Being will bear its fangs against the [Black Knights] once the group of parallel worlders that brought us together disappears.

「我々とそちらの本来の目的は、
相容れないのだからな」
Zero: We do not share a common goal.

Sumeragi: ...

ゼロ
「いずれにせよ、シマ司令…
これまでの作戦への協力、改めて感謝する」
Zero: At any rate... Commander Shima, I thank you once more for your cooperation until now.

ゼロ
「以後、紅月カレンを同行させることは出来ないが…
もし、そちらが再びこの世界へ来るようなことが
あれば、まず我々に連絡を取ってもらいたい」
Zero: From here on, I am unable to allow Kallen Kozuki to accompany you... However, should you find yourself in our world once again, I hope you will seek us out first.

「ここへ戻ることは本意ではないのだが」
Shima: It is not our intention to return here, you know.

ゼロ
「それはわかっている。もしもの話だ」
Zero: I’m well aware. Consider it a what-if scenario.

シマ
「覚えておこう」
Shima: I’ll keep it in mind, then.

「ラー・カイラムとイサリビが
もうすぐハワイへ着くそうよ」
Shizuno: It seems the Ra Cailum and the Isaribi will arrive in Hawaii before long.

キョウ
「そうか。
[鉄華団]やハルト達が無事に
[モジュール77]へ帰れるといいな」
Kyo: Yeah. I hope [Tekkadan], Haruto, and the others make it back to [Module 77] okay.

ルーシェン
「だが、そこが無事だという保証はない。
常識的に考えれば、あの世界の大国によって
既に制圧されている可能性が高い」
Lu-Shen: But there’s no guarantee it’s safe there to begin with. Ordinarily, you’d think the larger powers in that world would have taken over Module 77 by now.

キョウ
「けど、ハルトがモジュール77にいた時は
そうならなかったんだろ」
Kyo: But that never happened while Haruto was there, right?

シズノ
「彼の話だと、ヴァルヴレイヴIが
抑止力の一つになったそうだけど…」
Shizuno: From what he had said, Valvrave I acted as one of their deterrents, but...

ルーシェン
「今のモジュール77はそれがない」
Lu-Shen: But Module 77 doesn’t have that right now.

キョウ
「んなこたあ、わかってる。
だけど、俺達で暗い話をしてたって、
どうにもならねえだろうが」
Kyo: Yeaaah, I know. But all this nay saying isn’t gonna help any.

キョウ
「ハルト自身は仲間が無事だって信じてんだ。
俺もそう思いてえぜ」
Kyo: Haruto believes that his friends are all safe. And I wanna think so too.

「その前に、ハワイのゲートを抜けなあかんやろが。
しかも、向こう側に何があるかわからへんし」
Juzo: Before any of that, they gotta get through the Gate in Hawaii. And there ain’t no tellin’ what’s behind any of that.

カミーユ
「ゲート周辺に配置されているのが
ブリタニア軍の一般部隊なら、
そう苦戦せずに突破できるだろうけど…」
Kamille: If the troops deployed in the Gate’s vicinity are just average Britannian soldiers, then they shouldn’t have a hard time breaking through them but...

カミーユ
「その先まで無事に辿り着けるかどうかは、
シンジやアスカ、レイ次第だな」
Kamille: It’ll really depend on Shinji, Asuka, and Rei if they can get past that point safely or not.

十三
「ゲートを抜ける度に
ハラハラさせられるのはかなわんわ。
もうちょい楽に行ける方法はないんかいな」
Juzo: I get paranoid every time we have to go through a Gate. There’s gotta be an easier way to do it than how we have been.

鉄也
「そんなモノがあったら、状況はさらに混乱するぞ。
今のところ、気軽に行き来できないから、
被害や影響が最小限で済んでいると言える」
Tetsuya: If it was easier to do, then things would be a lot more hectic for us. I’d say the damage and influence from the Gates is minimal precisely because it’s not easy to get through them.

鉄也
「ブリタニアのような巨大勢力が
ゲートの入口と出口を抑え、
並行世界間の移動を容易にしたら…」
Tetsuya: If a massive force like Britannia gained exclusive control of the Gates, and could enter parallel worlds without issue...

鉄也
「複数の世界をまたぐ戦争が起こりかねん」
Tetsuya: The end result would be a multi-world war.

ルーシェン
(…そうなってしまったら、
安寧の地はますます遠くなるな)
Lu-Shen: (...If that happens, the concept of a land of peace will become even more distant.)

「カミーユ、ソレスタルビーイングの艦へ行く時間よ」
Four: Kamille, it’s time for us to move over to Celestial Being’s ship.

カミーユ
「ああ、わかった」
Kamille: Right, got it.

鉄也
「バトルチームはオケアノスに残るんだったな。
また後で会おう」
Tetsuya: So the Battle Team is staying behind on the Oceanus. Then, until we meet again.

「おう、気ぃ付けてな」
Juzo: Yeah, take care, ya hear?

『繋がる世界』
Episode 39
Connected Worlds


(Scene starts on the map screen of a dry, cracked land. The Ra Cailum and the Isaribi appear. Enemy Knightmares are on the map.)

トーレス
「艦長、ゲートが視界に入りました。
ブリタニアのナイトメアフレームが
迎撃態勢に入っています」
Torres: Captain, the Gate has entered our field of vision. Britannian Knightmare Frames are preparing to intercept.

ブライト
「これより強行突破する。各機、出撃せよ!」
Bright: We’ll force our way through. All units, launch!

(The player’s team deploys.)

ハルト
「あのゲートを抜ければ、僕達の世界へ行ける…!」
Haruto: If we can get through that Gate, we’ll be in our world...!

エイジ
「もっと多くの敵が待ち構えていると
思っていたけど…」
Eiji: I thought there’d be more enemies waiting for us...

万丈
「オケアノスや黒の騎士団の陽動が
功を奏したようだね」
Banjo: The diversion from the Oceanus and the Black Knights paid off.

弁慶
「とは言え、増援が現れる可能性は否めん。
各機、早急に敵を撃破しろ!」
Benkei: Even so, there’s still a chance reinforcements could pop up. All units, take down the enemy quickly!

(Battle 1 begins.)

(Battle 1 ends after 5 enemy units are defeated.)

ブリタニア騎士
「各機、ここまでだ! 速やかに撤退せよ!」
Britannian Knight: All units, stop! Withdraw at once!

(All remaining enemies leave the map.)

トーレス
「敵機が戦域から離脱しました!」
Torres: Enemy units have withdrawn from the combat zone!

ミサト
「あっさりと引き揚げたわね…」
Misato: They pulled out just a bit too easily...

アムロ
「もしかしたら、ブリタニアは
俺達を止める気がなかったのかも知れない」
Amuro: Maybe Britannia doesn’t want to stop us.

ミサト
「厄介払いというわけですか」
Misato: They want us to get out and stay out, you mean.

アムロ
「ああ。
黒の騎士団やソレスタルビーイングと
結託されるよりはマシだろうからな」
Amuro: Right. Because it’s better that than having us work with the Black Knights and Celestial Being.

オルガ
「ま、こっちとしちゃ、その方が楽だからな。
遠慮なく行かせてもらうとしようぜ」
Orga: Well that makes it easier for us then. Less skulls we gotta crack on the way out.

ブライト
「トーレス、カミーユ達は?」
Bright: Torres, what about Kamille and the others?

トーレス
「予定通りの時間に
こちらへ戻って来られそうです」
Torres: They’ll be returning on time as scheduled.

ブライト
「では、彼らが帰艦した後、ゲートへ突入する。
それまで周辺の警戒を怠るな」
Bright: Then as soon as they return to the ship, we’ll penetrate the Gate. Until then, keep a close eye on our perimeter.


エリア11 政庁執務室
Area 11 – Viceroy’s Office


シュナイゼル
「異世界からの来訪者達は
ゲートを無事…というのも変だが、
通過したそうだよ」
Schneizel: Our visitors from another world have fortunately passed through the Gate without incident... Strange as it is to say that.

コーネリア
「これで良かったのでしょうか」
Cornelia: I’m still not entirely convinced it was the right move to allow this.

シュナイゼル
「未知の戦力を相手に、陛下から賜った兵達を
損耗するのは愚策だよ」
Schneizel:  It would be foolish to waste the men granted by His Majesty against an unknown force.

シュナイゼル
「これで[エリア 11]を脅かすイレギュラーな存在は
退去したことだし、後は君に任せよう。
あまり私が出しゃばるのも良くないからね」
Schneizel: Now that the irregularities that threatened [Area 11] have departed, I’ll trust you to handle it from here. It would be in bad form for me to meddle more than necessary.

コーネリア
「…兄上、今回の件に関して、皇帝陛下は
どのようにお考えなのでしょう?」
Cornelia: ...Schneizel, what are the Emperor’s thoughts on this matter?

シュナイゼル
「最近、陛下には拝謁していないからわからないが…
おそらく些事程度にしか思っていないだろうね」
Schneizel: I haven’t had an audience with His Majesty lately, so I wouldn’t know... Although I imagine it’s a trivial concern for him.

コーネリア
「本当でしょうか?
あれほどの戦力が異世界から現れたというのに、
それを些事とは…」
Cornelia: Truly? When such great a force appears from another world, he still sees it as trivial...

シュナイゼル
「そういうお方なのだよ、皇帝陛下は…」
Schneizel: That is just the way the Emperor is...

(Scene changes to...just google “Sword of Akasha Code Geass”, that’s a lot easier than me describing it in text.)


シャルル
「異世界の連中は出て行ったな。
…ああ、特に問題はない」
Charles: The other worlders have departed. ...Yes, it is of no concern.

シャルル
「世界の繋がりが意図されたモノであれば、
彼らは再び現れることになるだろう…」
Charles: If the worlds are intended to be connected, then they will appear once more...

シャルル
「その際、事実は今よりも明らかになっているはずだ」
Charles: And when that should happen, the truth will be made evident.

シャルル
「手を打つのは、それからでも遅くはない…」
Charles: It is not yet too late to take action...


(Scene changes to a map screen of a mountain range. The Ra Cailum and the Isaribi appear. Gjallarhorn MS are on the map.)


トーレス
「本艦とイサリビはゲートを通過しました!」
Torres: Our ship and the Isaribi have passed through the Gate!

ミサト
「どうやら、地球上のようね」
Misato: Looks like we’re on the surface of Earth.

トーレス
「艦前方に人型機動兵器を多数確認!」
Torres: A large number of humanoid mobile weapons have been identified in front of the ship!

オルガ
「あいつらは[ギャラルホルン]だ…!」
Orga: It’s [Gjallarhorn]...!

フミタン
「団長さん、現在位置が判明しました。
地球の南米、アンデス山脈のクスコ周辺です」
Fumitan: Leader, I’ve confirmed our present location. We are in South America, on Earth. These are the Andes Mountains, in the vicinity of Cusco.

オルガ
「ここが俺達の世界ってのは、もはや間違いねえな」
Orga: There’s no doubt this is our world now.

フミタン
「はい」
Fumitan: Indeed.

ユージン
「よっしゃあ!
戻って来たんだな、俺達!」
Eugnee: Hell yeah! We’re finally back!

ビスケット
「まだ手放しで喜べる状況じゃないよ、ユージン。
ギャラルホルンの部隊が待ち構えてる」
Biscuit: Don’t jump for joy just yet, Eugene. We have a Gjallarhorn squad to worry about.

オルガ
「このイサリビを見た以上、
あいつらは問答無用で仕掛けて来るぜ」
Orga: One look at the Isaribi and they’ll attack us without question.

ブライト
「わかっている。
ここで彼らに拿捕されるわけにはいかない。
各機、出撃せよ!」
Bright: Understood. We can’t allow them to capture us here. All units, launch!

(The player’s team deploys.)

オルガ
「こんな形で地球へ辿り着くとは
思っちゃいなかったが…ここで
足踏みをするわけにはいかねえ」
Orga: This sure as hell ain’t how I expected us getting to Earth... But this is no time for pussyfooting around.

オルガ
「みんな、気合入れていけよ!」
Orga: Give ‘em hell, guys!

三日月
「わかってるよ、オルガ」
Mikazuki: You got it, Orga.

ハルト
(やっと…やっと帰って来たんだ。
こんな所でやられるもんか。
待っていてくれ、ショーコ…!)
Haruto: (Finally... I’m finally back. I won’t let them take me out here. Just wait for me, Shoko...!)

(Battle 2 begins.)

(Battle 2 ends when all enemies are defeated.)

トーレス
「現戦域内の敵機の反応、全て消失しました」
Torres: All enemy readings in the battlefield have been eliminated.

ブライト
「よし…敵の増援部隊が到着する前に、
ここから離脱するぞ」
Bright: Good. ...Let’s break away from this location before enemy reinforcements arrive.


イサリビ ブリッジ
Isaribi – Bridge


シノ
「追っ手は来ねえみたいだな。
で、ここからどうやってモジュール77まで
行くんだ?」
Shino: Looks like there isn’t anyone chasing us. So, how do we get to Module 77 from here?

ビスケット
「イサリビだけじゃ、宇宙へ上がれないね。
この艦を打ち上げられる施設まで行かなきゃ」
Biscuit: The Isaribi can’t fly into space on her own. We’ll have to find some sort of facility to get her up there.

オルガ
「ああ、ラー・カイラムの連中の手を
借りなきゃならねえ。それと…」
Orga: Yeah, we’ll need a hand from the Ra Cailum guys for that. And also...

オルガ
「モンターク商会だ。
あの仮面の男は、俺達に協力すると約束した。
フミタン、奴と連絡を取ってくれ」
Orga: The Montag Company. That masked man gave us his word that they’d cooperate with us. Fumitan, get us in touch with him.

オルガ
「それでモジュール77の情報も手に入るからな」
Orga: This’ll also be how we get an update on Module 77.

フミタン
「わかりました」
Fumitan: Understood.

ユージン
「モジュール77のことなら、
[WIRED]で調べりゃわかるんじゃねえか?」
Eugene: Why don’t we look on [WIRED] about Module 77?

フミタン
「現状で迂闊に接続するのは危険だと思います。
さらに、私達がモジュール77と直接連絡を
取ることも避けた方がいいでしょう」
Fumitan: It would be dangerous for us to connect to it in our present circumstances. Furthermore, direct communication with Module 77 should be avoided.

オルガ
「ああ、こっちの情報が漏れるかも知れねえからな。
ビスケット、ハルトにもそう言っとけ」
Orga: She’s right, we could end up having details about us leak out. Biscuit, be sure to let Haruto know that too.

ビスケット
「わかった」
Biscuit: Understood.

「消息を絶っていた鉄華団が、
地球南米の光球から現れたぞ」
Gaelio: The long-lost Tekkadan have finally reappeared. They came through a light sphere in South America, on Earth.

アイン
「本当ですか…!?
これでクランク二尉の仇が討てる…!」
Ein: They have...!? Now I can avenge Lieutenant Crank...!

ガエリオ
「気負うのはいいが、相手は強敵だ。
情報では、未知の戦力が同行していると聞く。
油断は出来ん」
Gaelio: Motivation is good, but your opponents are strong. And according to our information, they’re accompanied by an unknown force. We can’t afford to be careless.

アイン
「特務三佐…。
私も…私も阿頼耶識の手術を受ければ、
あいつらに敵うのでしょうか?」
Ein: Specialist Major... If I... If I also underwent the Alaya-Vijnana surgery, would I be able to stand against them?

ガエリオ
「なっ…! 何を言い出す?
気持ちの悪いことを言うな」
Gaelio: Wha...!? What are you saying? Don’t even say something so unpleasant.

アイン
「あいつらに正体不明の戦力まで
加わっているのなら、これまでのやり方では
勝てません。ですから、私は…」
Ein: If they’re adding unidentified forces to their side, then we can’t win as we are now. So I...

ガエリオ
「あんな物を体に埋め込めば、
人間ではなくなってしまう」
Gaelio: If you implant that THING into your body, you will no longer be human.

アイン
「人間ではない…その言葉は地球出身の
同僚達にも言われてきました」
Ein: Not human... That’s what my colleagues from Earth have called me too.

ガエリオ

Gaelio: ...

アイン
「俺には半分火星の血が流れているんです」
Ein: Half of the blood flowing in my body is Martian blood.

ガエリオ
「アイン…」
Gaelio: Ein...

アイン
「ギャラルホルンは…いや、地球人は、
地球出身の純粋な血しか本来認めていません。
それは火星でも変わらない」
Ein: Gjallarhorn... No, Earthlings themselves only recognize pure-bloods as their own. And it’s no different on Mars.

アイン
「火星人の母を持つ私は、ギャラルホルンの
士官であった父のおかげで入隊させて
もらえましたが、やはり差別は続きました」
Ein: My mother was Martian, but since my father was a Gjallarhorn officer, I was allowed to enlist. But the discrimination still continued.

アイン
「そんな俺をクランク二尉だけは
みんなと対等に扱ってくれたんです」
Ein: Lieutenant Crank was the only one who treated me the same as everyone else.

アイン
「二尉は、俺に自分を取り戻させてくれました。
周りからどう見えてもいい。俺は俺の考えを…」
Ein: The Lieutenant allowed me to feel like myself again. I didn’t care what the people around me saw me as. I became what I thought I was...

「まるで俺が、お前を馬鹿にした連中と
同じだと言いたげだな」
Gaelio: You make it sound as if I am one of those people who ridiculed you.

アイン
「違います!
そうではなく…」
Ein: No! That’s not what I...

ガエリオ
「いや、いい。
俺はお前のような男を初めて見た」
Gaelio: It’s fine. I have to say, I’ve never seen a man quite like you before.

アイン
「えっ…?」
Ein: Huh?

ガエリオ
「お前の言う通り、
鉄華団は絶対に我らの手で倒さなければな」
Gaelio: Just as you’ve said, Ein, we must be the ones to defeat Tekkadan.

モンターク
「皆さん、無事に帰還されたようで何よりです」
Montag: I’m very pleased to see you’ve all returned safely.

ハルト
「あ、あの!
モジュール77は、咲森学園のみんなは
無事なんですか!?」
Haruto: E-Excuse me! Module 77—Is everyone at Sakimori Academy okay!?

モンターク
「ええ、今のところは。
あなた達がいなくなった後、どこの勢力も
大規模な攻撃を仕掛けていません」
Montag: Yes, at present. No force has launched a major offensive against them since your disappearance.

ハルト
「よ、良かった…!」
Haruto: Th-Thank God...!

オルガ
「…大規模な攻撃はなかったが、
小競り合いはあったってことか?」
Orga: ...And does you saying there were no “major” offensives mean there were smaller ones?

モンターク
「そうです」
Montag: That’s correct.

オルガ
「解せねえな。俺達がモジュール77から
いなくなったってのに、ドルシアやギャラルホルンが
ちょっかいを出して来ただけってのはよ」
Orga: I don’t get it. Even though we’ve been away from Module 77, neither Dorssia nor Gjallarhorn finished what they started?

モンターク
「彼らにも事情があるのでしょう」
Montag: They no doubt have their own circumstances preventing them.

昭弘
「なら、モジュール77の連中は、
どうやって奴らを退けてたんだ?」
Akihiro: But how’d the guys at Module 77 keep them away?

モンターク
「それについては、
直接彼らにお聞きになった方がいいかと」
Montag: I think you might want to ask them about that directly.

ハルト
「え…?」
Haruto: Huh...?

オルガ
「気に入らねえな。何で秘密にする?」
Orga: I don’t like this. What’s with the secrecy?

モンターク
「デリケートな問題なのですよ。
それより、本題に入りましょう」
Montag: It’s a sensitive subject, I’m afraid. Now, there’s an even greater matter at hand.

モンターク
「クーデリア・藍那・バーンスタインの
目的を達成するためにも、あなた方には
早急にモジュール77へ向かっていただきたい」
Montag: In order for Kudelia Aina Bernstein to achieve her goal, I would like for your group to  set course for Module 77 immediately.

オルガ
「言われるまでもねえ。
こっちは、ここから宇宙へ上がる手段について
あんたに相談するつもりだったんだ」
Orga: You don’t have to tell us that. We were actually planning to ask you about how to get us into space.

モンターク
「それに関してですが…
我が方の打ち上げ施設を手配します」
Montag: Yes, about that... We’ll arrange for a launch facility on our end.

オルガ
「そいつは助かるが、妙な真似をするなよ」
Orga: That’s great and all, but I don’t want you getting any ideas.

モンターク
「ご心配なく。
あなた方と事を荒立ててもメリットは
ありませんので」
Montag: You’ve no need for concern. There’s nothing for me to gain by causing trouble for you.

モンターク
「こちらとしては、ハーフメタルの採掘利権に
私共を加えていただければ良いのです」
Montag: All we ask is that we are included in the dealings concerning the half-metal mining rights.

オルガ
「そいつは俺が約束することじゃねえが…
宇宙へ上がるのに手を貸してもらうぜ」
Orga: I’m not gonna promise you that... But I do need your help getting to space.

モンターク
「わかりました」
Montag: I understand.

オルガ
「ところで、モンターク商会さんよ。
あんたの本当の名前は何て言うんだ?」
Orga: By the way, Mr. Montag Company... What the heck’s your real name?

モンターク
「モンタークで結構。それが真実の名ですので」
Montag: Montag will be sufficient. Consider it my true name.

「クーデリアさん、
モンターク商会から連絡があったよ!
ハルトや鉄華団のみんなが戻って来たって!」
Shoko: Kudelia! Haruto and Tekkadan are back! I heard from the Montag Company!

クーデリア
「本当ですか…!?
それで、今どこに?」
Kudelia: Do you really mean it...!? Then, where are they now?

ショーコ
「地球!」
Shoko: Earth!

クーデリア
「良かった…!
ショーコさんが言っておられた通り、
みんな戻って来てくれたのですね…」
Kudelia: Thank goodness... Just like you said, Shoko, they all came back...

アイナ
「そっか、ハルトさんが戻ってくるんだ…」
Aina: So Haruto’s finally coming back...

キューマ
(アイナ…)
Kyuma: (Aina...)

アイナ
「あ、流木野さん!
ハルトさん達、帰ってくるそうですよ!」
Aina: Oh, Rukino! Haruto and the others are coming back!

サキ
「…そう」
Saki: ...I see.

(Saki leaves.)

「流木野の奴、嬉しくないのかよ…」
Kyuma: Rukino doesn’t look as happy as I thought she’d be to hear that...

Saki: Heh heh...
