  1. Session Start: Sun Apr 10 12:17:07 2011
  2. Session Ident: #DHGame
  3. 03[12:17] * Now talking in #DHGame
  4. 03[12:17] * Mikhail is now known as Mikhail_Heinsch
  5. 03[12:27] * Tyerros_Monn (~meow_mix@F2B68738.82635316.C18C3BD4.IP) has joined #DHGame
  6. 03[12:29] * Uriah (Uriah@Rizon-8BE2616E.war.clearwire-wmx.net) has joined #DHGame
  7. 03[13:11] * Aqizzar (~Aqizzar@Rizon-B3007808.tx.res.rr.com) has joined #DHGame
  8. 06[13:16] * Tyerros_Monn begins filing through the folders in front of him, looking for interesting information regarding the Inquisitor and the conflict on this planet, downloading the information to his Data Slate.
  9. [13:21] <Earthworm_Jim> Tyerros begins sorting through the data, finding mostly mundane things such as troop and weather reports, supply manifests from the Departmento Munitorium, and some bullshit personal notes from the acolyte asigned to this terminal. Everything seems normal at first glace, but then Tyerros begins to notice the subtle signs of data falsification.
  10. 03[13:23] * Aqizzar (~Aqizzar@Rizon-B3007808.tx.res.rr.com) has left #DHGame
  11. 03[13:23] * Havelock (~Aqizzar@Rizon-B3007808.tx.res.rr.com) has joined #DHGame
  12. [13:23] <Earthworm_Jim> Tyerros begins to regard this as odd, as while Data Falsification is a minor crime within the Imperium, its offense is regarded tenfold in magnitude among those Administratum Acolytes who tend to its stores.
  13. 06[13:25] * Tyerros_Monn investigates further to see if he can determine exactly what data has been falsified and to what extent... to this end, he activates the computer next to him, repeating the process he just used to get this far, so he can compare the Acolytes' notes.
  14. [13:28] <Earthworm_Jim> Tyerros powers on a second terminal and begins comparing 'notes'. Several personal doccuments on the first terminal has been scrubbed, and a multitude of topology reports from before the Imperial Guard made landfall have been deleted. Tyerros notes the same of the second terminal, though it appears the transgression was performed remotely from a different terminal.
  15. 06[13:28] * Mikhail_Heinsch places his hand on the odd Guardsman's shoulder. "Come on now, man. Speak up, what's got all of you so tense?"
  16. 06[13:29] * Tyerros_Monn attempts to find this "other terminal", hoping there's some trail left by the saboteur
  17. [13:29] <Uriah> "Yes brother! Please speak your mind and we shall open our ears! Ehahaha!
  18. [13:30] <Earthworm_Jim> Tyerros follows the paper trail back towards the terminal in question, and is greeted to a grisly scene where four acolytes lie on the ground in a bloody slumped heap, the tops of their skulls all blown off and the face twisted in a pulpy mass. Four bolter casings lie strewn about the floor.
  19. [13:31] <Earthworm_Jim> There is a terminal beside them.
  20. [13:32] <Earthworm_Jim> The guardsman turns to face Mikhail, his movements strained and sluggish. He looks up at Mikhail with pleasing eyes before letting out a pained moan, barely audible, before he slumps to the floor.
  21. 06[13:32] * Tyerros_Monn stutters for one second as the shock of his discovery settles in before shouting "Th... they're dead! Everyone! Get in here! I've found something!"
  22. [13:34] <Uriah> "By the throne! This man has been struck! We must take caution now!
  23. 06[13:34] * Mikhail_Heinsch removes his gaze from the collapsed Guardsman and turns toward Tyerros' voice before his feet follow suit.
  24. 06[13:36] * Mikhail_Heinsch suddenly stops in his tracks.
  25. 01[13:36] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Uriah, you go see what Tyerros wants, I'm going to investigate this matter further, first."
  26. [13:37] <Uriah> "Very well! Off I go!
  27. 06[13:38] * Tyerros_Monn looks over the grisly scene before him, unsure of how to proceed
  28. 06[13:38] * Uriah charges down the hallway to Tyerros.
  29. 06[13:38] * Mikhail_Heinsch goes back to the fallen Guardsman and sees if there's any physical cues as to what happened to him.
  30. [13:40] <Earthworm_Jim> Mikhail finds no wounds or any other sorts of trauma to the guardsman's body, even as he strips off the gray-green tunic worn on his person. Upon checking him, however, you notice small rivulets of blood dripping from the corner of his mouth.
  31. 01[13:44] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "I really wish I knew what the hell that means. Havelock, any ideas? My best assumption is something to do with Chaos, considering they're crawling all over the planet."
  32. 06[13:45] * Havelock picks up a bolter casing.
  33. [13:45] <Havelock> "Anybody seen a Comm'ssar 'round here?"
  34. 06[13:49] * Tyerros_Monn carefully moves the corpses out of his way to get to the bloody machine. He sits down in front of it, wipes some blood off the screen and begins the rites of activation again, fighting back some nausea as he does so.
  35. [13:51] <Earthworm_Jim> Tyerros powers the computer on. Nothing is out of the ordinary, for now.
  36. 06[13:52] * Tyerros_Monn carefully begins leafing through the computer's files looking for anything suspicious, keeping in mind that this wouldn't be the first corrupt machine spirit he's come by today
  37. 06[13:54] * Havelock inspects the corpses near the bolter shells.
  38. 06[14:02] * Mikhail_Heinsch continues onto one of the still-standing Guardsmen. "Can you speak?"
  39. [14:07] <Earthworm_Jim> The guardsman looks up at Mikhail and moans again.
  40. [14:08] <Earthworm_Jim> Havelock looks at the corpse heap. Administratum Adepts, under the direct authority of the Inquisitor.
  41. 06[14:09] * Havelock looks the lowly scribes over for anything that would have convinced a Commissar to blow their heads off.
  42. [14:09] <Earthworm_Jim> Tyerros plugs his data slate into the Terminal, and begins downloading the entire contents of the terminal into his slate. It will take a bit of time.
  43. 06[14:10] * Tyerros_Monn mutters to himself "Interesting... I have to get this information to..." and stops himself, turning around, he cannot afford to be seen by unfriendly eyes at the moment.
  44. [14:12] <Earthworm_Jim> Havelock begins sniffing around the corpses, and after a full minute of rooting around the dead bodies, he finds nothing.
  45. 06[14:13] * Tyerros_Monn draws his Laspistol and stands up, silently praying to the Omissiah to speed his download so he can leave.
  46. 06[14:15] * Uriah finally arrives to Tyerros after several minutes.
  47. [14:15] <Earthworm_Jim> Mikhail continues his inspection of the guardsman. Finally, it becomes painfully obvious to him that he should open the guardsman's mouth.
  48. [14:15] <Uriah> "Brother and friend techpriest hail! I am here to assist you!
  49. [14:16] <Tyerros_Monn> "Quiet!"
  50. 06[14:16] * Uriah quiets down quickly in response, "Forgive me friend!" he says with a whisper.
  51. [14:17] <Tyerros_Monn> "My... friends... we've been set up."
  52. [14:17] <Uriah> "Indeed? How so!?"
  53. 06[14:17] * Havelock thinks "Jinkies!"
  54. 06[14:18] * Mikhail_Heinsch opens the damn Guardsman's mouth after making sure to keep his shotgun in one hand.
  55. 01[14:18] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "There better not be any bloody worms in there."
  56. [14:18] <Tyerros_Monn> "This planet was lost before we came here, and the Inquisitor knows it. We're here to draw the enemy out- and then they'll wipe us all out."
  57. [14:19] <Havelock> "Who's wipin' who out now?"
  58. [14:19] <Earthworm_Jim> Mikhail opens the guardsman's mouth, and cthulu eats his soul. No, he just finds out that the man's tongue has been cut out and cauterized.
  59. [14:19] <Tyerros_Monn> "The Navy is readying a bombardment. Nothing within at least 50 km of here will survive, and all Voxes have been disabled or destroyed.
  60. 01[14:20] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Well, damn."
  61. [14:20] <Havelock> "Well then, what th'fuck are we standin' 'round here for?"
  62. 06[14:20] * Mikhail_Heinsch gets up and heads back to the others.
  63. [14:21] <Tyerros_Monn> "Inquisitor Verpine- that's his name- had planned this since before we got here."
  64. [14:21] <Tyerros_Monn> "We need a plan."
  65. [14:22] <Havelock> "Plan? Ain't no plan mate. We's gettin' a vehicle and gettin' far far away from heuh."
  66. [14:22] <Havelock> "To the motor pool!"
  67. 01[14:23] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "So hey guys, all those Guardsmen out there are missing their tongues."
  68. 06[14:23] * Tyerros_Monn checks to see how far along his download is coming.
  69. [14:24] <Earthworm_Jim> Tyerros notes that the download is complete.
  70. 06[14:24] * Tyerros_Monn happily retrieves his Slate from the computer and dashes off after Havelock
  71. [14:25] <Uriah> "Let us go then! We must make haste brothers!
  72. [14:25] <Uriah> "
  73. 06[14:25] * Havelock heads off to where the vehicles live.
  74. 06[14:26] * Uriah leads the charge to the motor pool
  75. 06[14:26] * Havelock yells back, "Get off yo' asses n' let's go!"
  76. 06[14:26] * Mikhail_Heinsch follows all those weirdos.
  77. 06[14:26] * Tyerros_Monn explains what he just told the others to Mikhail as they run
  78. [14:28] <Tyerros_Monn> "The forces of Chaos have been sneaking through this area since we returned to the Reach, Verpine has brought it on himself to stop it. Although most of it is charred ash, we sit on a 50 km plot of terraformed land- how it's so terraformed, I do not know."
  79. [14:29] <Earthworm_Jim> The group heads down to the motor pool. There, they find that all of the supplies formerly there are gone. A single Chimera remains housed under the manor. The Xenographer stands atop the vehicle, barking down orders as Krunk loads some inconspicuous crates into the back of the tank. The doctor is there as well, as are a handful of much more healthy looking guardsmen.
  80. [14:29] <Tyerros_Monn> "Going somewhere?"
  81. 01[14:29] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "And I was just thinking we should save that guy."
  82. [14:29] <Earthworm_Jim> 10"Krunk, will you please hurry the hell...Oh?"
  83. [14:30] <Havelock> "Ah hope y'alls talkin' 'bout the 'nographer."
  84. [14:30] <Earthworm_Jim> The Xenographer looks over at the group, a surprised expression plastered on his face.
  85. 01[14:30] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "So, just what exactly are you all doing, now?"
  86. [14:31] <Earthworm_Jim> 10"By the emperor, you haven't left already!? The Navy's going to be here any time now! Why aren't you with the others?"
  87. [14:31] <Havelock> "What's it look like they's doin'? Gettin', same as we should be."
  88. [14:31] <Uriah> "Indeed! We must escape quickly! Perhaps we can tag along hm!?
  89. [14:32] <Tyerros_Monn> "Well, it appears we're hitching a ride with you."
  90. 01[14:32] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "We unfortunately didn't get the memo."
  91. 06[14:33] * Havelock hesitates no longer and walks up to the Chimera, intently.
  92. [14:33] <Earthworm_Jim> 10"Feth... Wait; Krunk, leave the rest of those behind."
  93. [14:34] <Earthworm_Jim> 4"OI! NO MORE DAKKA!?"
  94. 01[14:34] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Such a pleasant group. Well, if you've no objections to our joining you.."
  95. [14:34] <Earthworm_Jim> 10"No more Dakka."
  96. 06[14:34] * Mikhail_Heinsch enters the Chimaera.
  97. 06[14:34] * Tyerros_Monn steps into the chimera, letting nothing stop him.
  98. 06[14:35] * Havelock makes sure not to get anywhere near the Ork and climbs in.
  99. [14:35] <Earthworm_Jim> Krunk looks at the group, then at the crate he carries, then back at the group. Grumbling, he throws the whole crate off to the side and enters the Chimera behind the Guardsmen.
  100. 06[14:35] * Uriah rushes into the Chimera
  101. [14:35] <Earthworm_Jim> 4"YOU'S BETTR BE WORTH THA DAKKA..."
  102. 01[14:36] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "More hands means you can use more... 'dakka' at once, does it not?"
  103. 06[14:36] * Havelock mutters under his breath, "We's can shoot straighta too..."
  104. 06[14:37] * Tyerros_Monn inspects the cargo while he's making himself comfortable.
  105. [14:37] <Earthworm_Jim> The orc stares at Mikhail intensely for a second. He looks at his hand, then cautiously at his other hand. His face twists in confusion, and he scratches his head for a moment.
  106. [14:39] <Earthworm_Jim> Krunk jolts his head up at Mikhail, looking angry, and crosses his arms in frustration.
  107. [14:39] <Earthworm_Jim> 4"NO."
  108. 06[14:39] * Havelock suddenly realizes that, holy shit, there's an Ork about to ride in the Chimera.
  109. [14:40] <Uriah> "Fear not brothers! The Emperor will shield us in our escape!"
  110. [14:40] <Earthworm_Jim> With that, the hatch of the chimera closes up, and the vehicle lurches forward. The Xenographer turns slightly to the side to make conversation with the Guardsmen.
  111. [14:41] <Earthworm_Jim> 10"So, how DID you manage to 'not get the memo' as you eloquently put it?"
  112. 01[14:42] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "We were out on the field the entire time this was going on, and only got back to the base a little while ago."
  113. [14:42] <Earthworm_Jim> 10"The Inquisitor called for a full briefing of all regiments and personell to relay our findings."
  114. 01[14:42] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "With the evac going on I guess I can see why the doctor was so jittery now. Think he could have said something about that."
  115. [14:42] <Havelock> "Mekboy got th'word from one'a th' N'Quistor's computers."
  116. [14:43] <Earthworm_Jim> The doctor gives Mikhail a venomous glance, then turns away.
  117. [14:43] <Havelock> "Somebody didn't feel like fillin' us in."
  118. 01[14:44] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "By the way, any particular reason a bunch of Guardsmen were laying around in the base with their tongues cut off?"
  119. [14:44] <Earthworm_Jim> 10"I see... you didn't come home with the guard that was dispatched to meet you."
  120. [14:44] <Earthworm_Jim> 10"That explains it."
  121. 01[14:44] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "They made it back? I thought they'd have been torn apart by those Chaos Marines."
  122. [14:45] <Earthworm_Jim> The Xenographer laughs.
  123. [14:45] <Earthworm_Jim> 10"Chaos Marines are formidable opponents, yes, but they aren't invincible."
  124. [14:45] <Earthworm_Jim> 10
  125. [14:45] <Earthworm_Jim> 10"Not by any means."
  126. [14:45] <Havelock> "Well, they didn't manage to kill you lot."
  127. 01[14:45] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Ah, I suppose."
  128. [14:46] <Tyerros_Monn> "They were toying with us."
  129. 01[14:46] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "So, tell me. Did they win, or did they have to fall back?"
  130. [14:47] <Uriah> "Yes! What is the result of this glorious battle? Victory for the Imperium, yes?"
  131. [14:50] <Earthworm_Jim> 10"From the reports, we lost half of the Cadian 401st platoon sent out. The 114th Blackheart platoon sustained serious injuries, but their losses were miminal. We lost a Leman Russ and a Chimera, but we indeed won."
  132. [14:51] <Earthworm_Jim> 10"Of course, most of them fled, but that's beside the point."
  133. 01[14:51] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "So we traded tanks and a lot of troops for walking tanks and a lot of troops. At least we came out on the favourable side."
  134. 01[14:51] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Do you... know if Drake and Caldia survived?"
  135. [14:51] <Havelock> "If they fled, then ain't much stoppin' 'em from comin' back now."
  136. [14:52] <Uriah> "Of course! As predicted, the Imperium prevails once more!"
  137. [14:53] <Earthworm_Jim> 10"Indeed, hence why we're moving. When they come back, they'll be into a big surprise."
  138. 06[14:53] * Tyerros_Monn still inspects the crates, wondering what kind of sacrd tecnology this Xenographer is selling to the Orkz
  139. 01[14:53] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "I'll assume this thing can carry us out of the blast radius in time?"
  140. 01[14:54] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Also, if I might repeat my previous question, what was with all the tongueless Guardsmen moaning on the floor?"
  141. [14:54] <Havelock> "well, it would if we got movin'! Tha's it, ah'm drivin'.
  142. [14:54] <Earthworm_Jim> One of the guardsman pipes up to respond to Mikhail. 3"I remember seeing Drake loading up one of the remaining Valkyries. Don't know who Caldia is, though."
  143. 06[14:54] * Havelock heads up to the cab.
  144. 06[14:55] * Havelock mans the gun.
  145. [14:55] <Earthworm_Jim> The Xenographer looks at Havelock oddly, but shrugs it off.
  146. 06[14:56] * Havelock gives up being stir crazy and sits down.
  147. [14:58] <Earthworm_Jim> 4"WOT? 'OO'D WONT DERE TONGUES WHEN DERE'S TEEF?"
  148. [15:00] <Earthworm_Jim> The same guardsman shrugs. 3"They were there when we got back. Nobody knows what happened to them, and the obviously couldn't tell us. The Inquisitor assumed it was the Adept's doings, but there's no way to be sure."
  149. [15:01] <Tyerros_Monn> "Hmmmm..."
  150. [15:01] <Earthworm_Jim> The ground thunders underneath the Chimera. The bombardment has begun.
  151. [15:01] <Havelock> "Well, the Adepts couldn't'a been too committed, since somebody managed to line'em up and blow their fool heads off."
  152. [15:01] <Tyerros_Monn> "Now now, we only found 4 of them..."
  153. [15:02] <Havelock> "Didn't put up no fahght though, by th'looks of it."
  154. [15:02] <Tyerros_Monn> "We should assume that the rest of them were in on some sort of conspiracy... whatever is reponsible for the mutilated Guardsmen."
  155. [15:02] <Earthworm_Jim> The guardsman nods. 3"Aye. Major Guillman of the Cadian 401st found them out. Inquisitor shot them himself."
  156. [15:02] <Tyerros_Monn> "They were probably caught off-guard, as if by those they'd trusted..."
  157. [15:04] <Earthworm_Jim> The guardsman cocks his head to the side. 3"Whaddaya mean by that?"
  158. 06[15:05] * Tyerros_Monn returns the question with a blank stare.
  159. [15:06] <Earthworm_Jim> Distant thunderous explosions rock the Chimera as it trundles along to get out of the blast zone.
  160. [15:06] <Tyerros_Monn> "On this battlefield, Guardsman, you can't trust anyone."
  161. 06[15:06] * Mikhail_Heinsch puts on his sunglasses.
  162. [15:06] <Havelock> "If you say 'no even us', ah'll pop'ya one, Mekboy."
  163. 06[15:07] * Tyerros_Monn adjusts his monocle.
  164. [15:07] <Earthworm_Jim> The Xenographer looks at Tyerros with a hard expression. 10"Nor can a battle be won while its forces are divided. Speculation and paranoia does nothing except give the Archenemy what it wants."
  165. [15:09] <Tyerros_Monn> "Our Inquisitor almost just hit us with an orbital bombardment. We've faced our fair share of corrupted Guardsmen. I've even seen twisted machine spirits in the Inquisitor's very room- all within the last twenty-four hours.
  166. [15:09] <Tyerros_Monn> "
  167. [15:10] <Tyerros_Monn> "Given this, trust is all too dangerous a risk, wouldn't you agree?"
  168. [15:11] <Earthworm_Jim> 10"Many a man has been undermined by his subordinates. Your Arbites should be able to contest how useful Circumstantial evidence is."
  169. [15:11] <Havelock> "You don't know our Arbite..."
  170. [15:12] <Tyerros_Monn> "You're not helping your own case, you know, Xeno-dealer."
  171. 01[15:13] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Tyerros, you may want to reconsider ticking off the guy driving us out of ground zero before we all die horribly, and whose Orkish friend is sitting right across from you."
  172. [15:13] <Earthworm_Jim> The Xenographer laughs, and nods to Havelock. 10"And your mad ravings aren't helping yours."
  173. [15:13] <Earthworm_Jim> Krunk is snoozing.
  174. 01[15:14] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "...Or at least quit bickering loud enough that you might wake him up."
  175. 06[15:14] * Tyerros_Monn falls silent, but keeps an eye on his fellow passengers.
  176. 01[15:14] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Besides, on the bombardment part at least. they had probably considered us missing in action, and the only reason all of us are so frantically trying to leave the area is because this was their only chance to hit the heretics with everything they could. I just hope the plan worked."
  177. 06[15:15] * Havelock ponders cracking a look inside one of these crates of "dakka".
  178. [15:17] <Earthworm_Jim> Suddently, the Chimera lurches a second time as the treads struggle for grip, as if the terrain had abruptly changed. The Xenographer eases, allowing the treads to slow and find their traction once again, before continuing on at a slightly slower pace.
  179. [15:19] <Earthworm_Jim> 10"We're out."
  180. 01[15:20] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "That went rather smoothly."
  181. 06[15:20] * Tyerros_Monn goes up to the gunner's hatch to take a look at their surroundings
  182. [15:21] <Earthworm_Jim> 10"We'll be pulling up the rear of the Imperial Guard column assaulting Hive Nolboss shortly."
  183. [15:21] <Uriah> "Wonderful! We shall once more take the fight to the enemy!"
  184. 01[15:22] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "So, best estimate, just how many heretical bases do you think are on this Emperor-forsaken planet?"
  185. [15:22] <Havelock> "Fan-fuckin'-tastic. Why didn't we just hang 'round to get bombed..."
  186. [15:26] <Earthworm_Jim> Tyerros looks out to a blasphempus and blackened landscape of twisted vegitation, dotted with bulbous fleshy pods glowing a sickening purple. The ground is ashen and barren, and flakes away into a dark dust when crushed under the treads of the Chimera.
  187. [15:27] <Tyerros_Monn> "Hell."
  188. [15:28] <Havelock> "Looks like it, yeah."
  189. 06[15:29] * Tyerros_Monn grips his Lasgun to reassure himself and rests against the edge of the hatch, simply taking in the terrible landscape as the Chimera rolls onward.
  190. [15:31] <Earthworm_Jim> The once grassy, loamy landscape is now jagged with crags of rock which punch out of the ground in sharp points. The air is thick and pungent, and reeks of a sickeny sweet stench that becomes more and more nauseating as time continues.
  191. 01[15:32] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "I'm surprised the air here is breathable at all. You're lucky you've got that mask on, Tech-Priest."
  192. 06[15:32] * Tyerros_Monn places a hand on the Multilaser, borrowing some power to crank up his Air Filters
  193. [15:32] <Earthworm_Jim> The sky, however, continues to menace with dark clouds promising rain anytime now.
  194. 01[15:32] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "So, how tough of a fight can we be expecting against this Hive?"
  195. [15:34] <Earthworm_Jim> 10"That depends on how many of its inhabitants still remain loyal to the Emperor. If a sizeable resistance force exists, we could win the hive easily and decisively.
  196. [15:34] <Earthworm_Jim> 10"If not, we could be completely alone."
  197. 01[15:35] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "And how much force have we got on our side?"
  198. [15:37] <Earthworm_Jim> 10"Three Imperial Guard regiments, with elements borrowed from an Armored Brigade, an Inquisitor, and his Throne Agents."
  199. [15:38] <Havelock> "Stacked up 'gainst a whole damned Hive? Sounds good."
  200. [15:38] <Earthworm_Jim> 10"We also have Imperial Navy support procured from the reserves at Celebos."
  201. [15:40] <Earthworm_Jim> A Guardsman shrugs and speaks up. 3"Harder victories have been won."
  202. 01[15:41] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Some regiments just have a ton of Guardsmen as a living wall, and some have Baneblades and artillery bloody everywhere. I have no idea what these three regiments are really equipped with, but you don't seem to be dreading this assignment so I guess I should be optimistic, as well."
  203. [15:41] <Earthworm_Jim> 3"Besides, who knows how prepared this hive is for a fight anyway? Could catch 'em with their pants down."
  204. [15:42] <Tyerros_Monn> "Any of you from the Blackhearts?"
  205. [15:42] <Earthworm_Jim> The guardsman look at eachother, confused.
  206. [15:42] <Earthworm_Jim> 3"...We're all blackhearts..."
  207. [15:43] <Tyerros_Monn> "Hm."
  208. 06[15:43] * Mikhail_Heinsch leans towards the Guardsmen. "Doesn't have his bionic eyes yet."
  209. [15:44] <Earthworm_Jim> Two of them give hearty chuckles.
  210. [16:35] <Earthworm_Jim> Tyerros sights off in the distance the looming black spires of Hive Nolboss. Sprawling towers once raised high to the emperor now sit in shambles, some of the more decrepit ones toppled completely in on themselves or leaning on other towers for suppourt. The land infront of the hive is barren and flat, no crops having been grown there in quite some time. It's on these fields you can make out
  211. [16:35] <Earthworm_Jim> the swarming masses of Imperial Guard.
  212. [16:36] <Earthworm_Jim> It's too far to tell, but you can imagine them crisscrossing the landscape with trenches and other fortified positions to secure the outer perimeter and establish some sort of base camp for their asault.
  213. 01[16:36] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Kinda looks like we missed the good part already."
  214. 01[16:37] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Although from the looks of things, there's still quite a hell of a mop-up operation to be done, yet."
  215. [16:39] <Uriah> "Plenty of fight left then! We should go join them before all the glory is lost!
  216. 03[16:40] * Trix (~DarkIxion@Rizon-D8597313.oc.oc.cox.net) has joined #DHGame
  217. [16:40] <Tyerros_Monn> "Don't worry. I think there's plenty of... fight... left."
  218. [16:42] <Earthworm_Jim> The Xenographer shrugs. 10"Or nobody came out to meet them."
  219. 06[16:42] * Tyerros_Monn looks his Lasgun over to make sure it's working well and that the Machine Spirit is content and ready to fight.
  220. 06[16:42] * Mikhail_Heinsch readies his Lasgun early, just in case.
  221. 03[16:43] * Tyerros_Monn2 (~meow_mix@F2B68738.82635316.C18C3BD4.IP) has joined #DHGame
  222. 02[16:46] * Tyerros_Monn (~meow_mix@F2B68738.82635316.C18C3BD4.IP) Quit (Ping timeout: 240 seconds)
  223. [16:47] <Earthworm_Jim> The Chimera continues on, driving into the thick of the Imperial Guard regiments. They've erected a base camp and have already completed digging in some of their fortifications. Guardsmen scurry about as Sergeants bark out orders, relayed by their Commissariat commanders, probably pouring over their now correct topology maps. The Inquisitor himself can be seen standing atop a Leman Russ tank,
  224. [16:47] <Earthworm_Jim> gazing out across the field towards the Hive.
  225. 03[16:47] * Tyerros_Monn2 is now known as Tyerros_Monn
  226. [16:52] <Havelock> "Looks like th' big man is on the case. We're in great hands, mm-hmm."
  227. [16:52] <Earthworm_Jim> The Chimera pulls up next to the Inquisitor's Leman Russ, and the hatch opens. Krunk startles awake, looks around, and grabs his crates defensively, chaparoning his 'Dakka' outside.
  228. 06[16:53] * Mikhail_Heinsch disembarks from the Chimera.
  229. [16:53] <Earthworm_Jim> The four guardsmen deliver a curt salute to the Xenographer, and depart as well.
  230. [16:53] <Havelock> "Looks like this's our stop boys."
  231. [16:53] <Uriah> "Indeed!"
  232. 06[16:53] * Uriah charges out of the Chimera.
  233. 06[16:54] * Havelock shoulders his shotgun and saunters down the ramp.
  234. 06[16:54] * Tyerros_Monn pulls himself out of the hatch, then hos down to the ground. He then begins cycling through his Data Slate for any information he might have pulled about the Hive before them.
  235. [16:55] <Earthworm_Jim> The Xenographer hails the Inquisitor, whom nods in acknowledgement and leaps off the Leman Russ to the ground. After some brief conversation between the two, the Inquisitor approaches the group.
  236. 06[16:55] * Mikhail_Heinsch gulps.
  237. 06[16:56] * Havelock fixes his gasmask, confident he won't need to talk much.
  238. 06[16:57] * Uriah keeps an enthusiastic grin on his face.
  239. 06[16:57] * Tyerros_Monn doesn't notice as he scrolls past the "Furious Ornithosaurs" application on his Slate, looking for relevant files.
  240. [16:58] <Earthworm_Jim> The Inquisitor looks the motly band over, before nodding in approval.
  241. [16:59] <Earthworm_Jim> "Glad you could make it. Was worried when you weren't at the briefing; Don't do that again."
  242. 06[16:59] * Havelock gives the Inquisitor a brief wave.
  243. 06[17:00] * Tyerros_Monn looks up from his work and snaps to attention. "My Lord, I assure you, it will not."
  244. [17:00] <Earthworm_Jim> Verpine looks to Tyerros. "I would like your report on the northwestern terriroties among the landing site, please."
  245. [17:00] <Earthworm_Jim> The Inquisitor holds out his hand for the data slate.
  246. [17:01] <Tyerros_Monn> "I... apologize, my Lord. The files were corrupted."
  247. 06[17:02] * Tyerros_Monn bows before the Inquisitor
  248. [17:03] <Earthworm_Jim> The Inquisitor walks forward, and merely snatches the slate out of Tyerros' hands. "That will not be a problem."
  249. [17:03] <Tyerros_Monn> "M... my Lord! The Slate may still be corrupted!"
  250. 01[17:03] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Erm, if I may, my Lord?"
  251. [17:03] <Tyerros_Monn> "It requires my attentions!
  252. [17:04] <Tyerros_Monn> "It has been exposed to a twisted Machine Spirit, I am still trying to assess and repair the damage!"
  253. [17:04] <Earthworm_Jim> The Inquisitor beings musing through the data slate, nodding and shrugging off the onslaught of verbiage from his subbordinates.
  254. [17:05] <Tyerros_Monn> "Without proper reverance, it's Machine Spirit may rebel..."
  255. 06[17:05] * Havelock takes note of which way is the way to hold the data-slate.
  256. [17:05] <Earthworm_Jim> "I see you have already been fully briefed on the matter. Your 'investigation' of my study has been quite thorough."
  257. [17:06] <Earthworm_Jim> The Inquisitor extends a hand in a gesture of good will. "Good work. I see we're both on the same page. I expect nothing less from my Throne Agents."
  258. 06[17:06] * Tyerros_Monn stiffens and stares forward, speechless
  259. 06[17:07] * Havelock knows something is definitely wrong, and realizes he's probably not going to authorize that promotion.
  260. [17:07] <Tyerros_Monn> "O... of course, My Lord."
  261. 06[17:07] * Mikhail_Heinsch blinks, having trouble believing this is the same Inquisitor.
  262. [17:07] <Uriah> "Indeed my lord! We do our best for you and the Imperium!"
  263. 06[17:07] * Tyerros_Monn shakily extends his hand to meet the Inquisitor's
  264. 01[17:08] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Ah-ahem. Excuse me, my Lord? We do have one thing to report that I do not believe was recorded by Tyerros."
  265. [17:08] <Earthworm_Jim> The Inquisitor grips Tyerros' hand firmly in a shake. "That's for your good work."
  266. 06[17:09] * Tyerros_Monn nods wordlessly, taking a good gander afterwards at the hand he was all but sure he'd lose
  267. [17:09] <Earthworm_Jim> The Inquisitor suddently rears back and bashes the data slate against Tyerros' head, breaking the slate in two. Acolytes scurry over to pick up the fallen half and quickly retreat back from the scene. The Inquisitor tosses the other half over to the acolytes as well.
  268. [17:09] <Earthworm_Jim> "Burn that for me."
  269. [17:10] <Tyerros_Monn> "OW!"
  270. 06[17:10] * Havelock mumbles "ahs mmr ahk aht" behind his gas mask.
  271. [17:10] <Earthworm_Jim> The Inquisitor hefts Tyerros back to his feet, and slams a new one into his hands.
  272. [17:11] <Earthworm_Jim> "That was for being late. I do not like my Throne Agents to be late. Punctuality is to be closer to the Emperor; Sloth is of the Ruinous Powers. Do you understand?"
  273. [17:12] <Earthworm_Jim> "Also, do not talk out of turn or interrupt me. That is rude, and to be rude is to galavant with the Archenemy."
  274. 06[17:12] * Tyerros_Monn checks the various bits of machinery wired into his skull to make sure everything's still in place and groggily answers "Yes..."
  275. 06[17:13] * Tyerros_Monn thinks to himself how much he wishes he'd saved a Lho Stick or two right about now...
  276. [17:14] <Earthworm_Jim> "Good. Go meet with Amadeus and make sure you are in optimal performance. I will not have my Throne Agents in shoddy condition. The rest of you, report in with Major Guillman; he has a task for you."
  277. 01[17:15] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Yes, sir! ...But, um, if I may add, first? Again, I believe there was one thing Tyerros did not record in his report."
  278. [17:15] <Tyerros_Monn> "Sir..."
  279. [17:15] <Earthworm_Jim> The Inquisitor stares hard at Mikhail. "Go on."
  280. 06[17:16] * Tyerros_Monn nods and walks off to find Major Guillman, holding his head in one hand.
  281. 01[17:16] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "When we arrived at the settlement where we encountered the Chaos Space Marines, we first found a Guardsman who has apparently been here thirty five years and counting, fighting off cultists the entire time. He may have more to add. Umm, Guardsman Bones?"
  282. 06[17:17] * Tyerros_Monn then thinks straight and goes to look for Amadeus. He'd rather not get another machine broken on his skull.
  283. [17:18] <Earthworm_Jim> Bones looks up at the Inquisitor, perplexed. 14"Aye... Tha be true..."
  284. [17:21] <Earthworm_Jim> The Inquisitor thinks for a moment. "Bones, was it? Congratulations; you're my newest Throne Agent. You will be under mine and to a lesser extent Tyerros' direct command. Now get out of my sight."
  285. 06[17:22] * Havelock takes off his mask.
  286. 01[17:22] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Yes, sir!"
  287. 06[17:22] * Mikhail_Heinsch runs off to find Major Guillman
  288. [17:22] <Earthworm_Jim> Bones salutes, and departs with Tyerros.
  289. [17:22] <Havelock> "Howdy 'gain there, m'Lord. Uh, about that command business...'
  290. [17:23] <Havelock> "Ah'm hopin' y'all haven't forgotten 'bout the arrangement y'all made wi'me."
  291. [17:23] <Earthworm_Jim> The Inquisitor pulls out his bolt pistol, aiming it squarely at Havelock's forehead. He pulls the trigger, and a resounding 'whump' issues forth.
  292. [17:24] <Earthworm_Jim> A small flag protrudes from the gun, with the words "whump" written on the flag.
  293. [17:24] <Earthworm_Jim> "Go away."
  294. [17:24] <Havelock> "Point taken boss."
  295. 06[17:25] * Havelock pulls his mask back on and trots after Tyerros, glad to have kept the lho sticks.
  296. [17:26] <Earthworm_Jim> The group splits with Tyerros, Bones, and Havelock heading towards Amadeus; while Mikhail, Trix, and Uriah head towards Major Guillman.
  297. [17:27] <Tyerros_Monn> "You two weren't told to follow me. Not that I need to mention that, I'm sure."
  298. 06[17:27] * Havelock remembers who he was actually told to find, maybe.
  299. [17:28] <Earthworm_Jim> Bones shrugs. 14"Aye wasn't s'posed ta go wit anyone. 'E mentioned you, so Aye'll go wit you."
  300. [17:29] <Tyerros_Monn> "Well, it's not that I don't appreciate having a bodyguard, really. You're welcome to tag along just... don't break anything."
  301. [17:30] <Earthworm_Jim> Havelock breaks off suddently, his brain unable to process so much information at once, and he wanders off in a daze towards Mikhail and his group. Surely this is where his beloved Stretch Armstrong is.
  302. [17:32] <Earthworm_Jim> Bones smiles 14"AYE!"
  303. [17:32] <Tyerros_Monn> "Oh, and you can have this back anytime, if you want it."
  304. 06[17:33] * Tyerros_Monn shows Bones the Shotgun he took from the man's shack.
  305. [17:37] <Earthworm_Jim> Bones recovers his shotgun from Tyerros, and nods. Tyerros heads towards Amadeus, but realizes he has no idea where Amadeus is.
  306. [17:38] <Earthworm_Jim> Mikhail and his group, however, manage to run into Major Guillman. As in, literally run into the man. He does not look pleased.
  307. 06[17:46] * Tyerros_Monn asks around for someone who knows where Amadeus is
  308. [17:47] <Uriah> "Friend Major! We have finally found you and are reporting for duty sir!"
  309. [17:48] <Uriah> "Just direct us at the heretics and they shall taste the Emperor's wrath!"
  310. 06[17:48] * Havelock mumbles "yy rdhr ah da hnhhsdhhr", and salutes.
  311. [17:50] <Earthworm_Jim> The Majorturns around to regard the man who just shoved into him, and frowns. The major is a tall, stocky man with a face pockmarked with scars he obtained from Tyranid bio-acid. His eyes are piercingly black and small, and his hair forms a scraggly mop atop his head. His uniform is faded from dozens of campaigns, but nonetheless clean and in neat Imperial Guard order.
  312. 01[17:51] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "My lord! What would you have us do?"
  313. [17:52] <Earthworm_Jim> "And who might you be?"
  314. [17:52] <Earthworm_Jim> The Major is disinterested and irritated.
  315. 01[17:52] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "We are the throne agents. The Inquisitor sent us."
  316. [17:53] <Earthworm_Jim> "Oh. Lovely."
  317. [17:53] <Earthworm_Jim> The Major hoists up a small nondescript box from the ground and shoves it into Uriah's arms.
  318. [17:53] <Earthworm_Jim> "Give that to your tech-priest."
  319. [17:54] <Uriah> "Of course friend! It shall be done for you and the Emperor!"
  320. [17:54] <Earthworm_Jim> "...Right..."
  321. [17:55] <Earthworm_Jim> The Major turns and leaves, calling his adjutant over and heading into his tent.
  322. [17:56] <Uriah> "Well, no use standing here! Huzzah!"
  323. 06[17:56] * Uriah rushes off to find Tyerros.
  324. 06[17:56] * Havelock shrugs and follows the priest.
  325. 06[17:56] * Mikhail_Heinsch follows the crazed Cleric.
  326. [17:56] <Earthworm_Jim> Tyerros walks into Amadeus' tent with Bones. Amadeus looks over and glares menacingly at Tyerros.
  327. [17:56] <Earthworm_Jim> "What do you want!?" He spits out.
  328. [17:57] <Tyerros_Monn> "Excuse me."
  329. [17:57] <Earthworm_Jim> "You're excused, good, yes, now get out!"
  330. [17:58] <Tyerros_Monn> "The Inquisitor requested I come here before reporting to Guillman. Something about making sure we were in prime condition to fight."
  331. [17:58] <Tyerros_Monn> "Whether you like it or not, that's an Inquisitor's order."
  332. [17:58] <Earthworm_Jim> The Tech priest rolls his eyes and grunts, getting up and going over to Tyerros. He glances at his face, then turns his gaze all the way to his feet and back.
  333. [17:59] <Earthworm_Jim> "Looks like you're fine, anything else?"
  334. [18:00] <Tyerros_Monn> "Look, I can't just leave and say you didn't give us anything. How would that look to Verpine?"
  335. [18:01] <Earthworm_Jim> Amadeus curses, and grabs at Tyerros, trying to pull him over to where a medical stretcher lies.
  336. [18:01] <Earthworm_Jim> "Lie down on that."
  337. 06[18:02] * Tyerros_Monn stands next to the stretcher
  338. [18:02] <Tyerros_Monn> "You're qualified for this, I presume?"
  339. [18:03] <Earthworm_Jim> Amadeus tries shoving Tyerros over onto the stretcher. "Shut up and lie down."
  340. [18:04] <Earthworm_Jim> Therros remains standing, and Amadeus rebounds off him, growling.
  341. 06[18:04] * Tyerros_Monn pushes back, trying to remain on his feet.
  342. [18:04] <Tyerros_Monn> "A little pushy, don't you think?"
  343. [18:04] <Earthworm_Jim> "Go on! The Inquisitor wants me to work on you, and work on you I shall! Lay down, Feth you!"
  344. [18:04] <Tyerros_Monn> "Fine, you just have to ask."
  345. 06[18:05] * Tyerros_Monn prepares to lie down.
  346. [18:05] <Tyerros_Monn> "Bones, if you could stay for awhile, I'd appreciate it."
  347. 06[18:05] * Tyerros_Monn takes off his robes and lies down.
  348. [18:08] <Earthworm_Jim> Bones nods, and stands by uncomfortably.
  349. [18:08] <Earthworm_Jim> Amadeus grumbles and gets to work.
  350. [18:11] <Earthworm_Jim> Tyerros screams in pain as Amadeus begins cutting away flesh and cautrizing mechanical dermal implants into his skin. The process is agonizing and takes several hours to complete. Tyerros's mental fortitude is enough so as to not leave him scarred, but the process leaves him two wounds down, and his body wastes in response to the mechanical augmentation.
  351. [18:11] <Earthworm_Jim> As a result, His Strength and Toughness are reduced by 3 each, but he gains 1 Armor Point to the Body and the use of Vehicle Interface Circuits.
  352. [18:18] <Earthworm_Jim> While Tyerros is resting after his surgical procedure, the rest of the group finally makes it into the Blackheart camp and locates Amadeus and his workshop. They enter in to see a modified Tyerros lying in a bed, Bones sitting in a corner, and Amadeus stroking 'Betsy'.
  353. 01[18:19] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Well, looks like someone got a makeover."
  354. [18:19] <Tyerros_Monn> "I exist on a plane of pure pain..."
  355. [18:20] <Uriah> "Valiant techpriest we have finally found you!
  356. 06[18:20] * Uriah throws the box onto the bed.
  357. [18:21] <Tyerros_Monn> "What's this then?"
  358. [18:21] <Uriah> "This is for you esteemed brother! Guard it well!"
  359. 06[18:21] * Tyerros_Monn doesn't sit up, but moves his closest hand to the top of the box to open it up
  360. [18:24] <Earthworm_Jim> Tyerros opens the box. A data slate sits atop some bundles of cloth
  361. 06[18:25] * Tyerros_Monn smiles slightly through the world of hurt, puts the Slate aside for now and takes a look at the cloth.
  362. [18:25] <Tyerros_Monn> "Amadeus... what did you do to me?"
  363. [18:26] <Earthworm_Jim> "What I was asked to."
  364. [18:26] <Tyerros_Monn> "Could you be a little more specific?"
  365. [18:27] <Earthworm_Jim> Tyerros lifts the cloth out of the box. It immediately becomes obvious that it's a cloak. As its color shimmers and changes, Tyerros realizes that they're Chameleoline Cloaks.
  366. [18:28] <Tyerros_Monn> "Well, this could be useful."
  367. 06[18:29] * Havelock pokes his head into the room.
  368. 06[18:29] * Tyerros_Monn sets the Cloak back in the box and turns on the Data Slate- the cloak is nice, but if this thing has useful information stored on it, it could easily be even more valuable.
  369. 06[18:30] * Havelock mumbles, "eh henn ahd heuh ahr hrrhs ahmmat:.
  370. 01[18:30] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "How many Cameleoline Cloaks are in there? They'd make our job a hell of a lot easier!"
  371. [18:30] <Earthworm_Jim> Tyerros looks through the box, and finds four cloaks packed into the box. The Data slate, Tyerros immediately recognizes, is his old slate; the one that was presumably smashed on his head and burned. How it got here is a mystery. Verpine must have been playing tricks.
  372. [18:32] <Tyerros_Monn> "Look for yourself- there's quite a few."
  373. 06[18:32] * Tyerros_Monn returns to the task he had busied himself with the Slate earlier- researching this damn Hive.
  374. 06[18:33] * Tyerros_Monn notes in the back of his mind how far-off the pain feels with the rush of discovery.
  375. [18:35] <Earthworm_Jim> At the bottom of the box, Tyerros finds an odd piece of machinery with no discernable purpose. Bones, however, stands up uncomfortably at its sight.
  376. [18:36] <Tyerros_Monn> "Something troubling you, Bones?"
  377. [18:37] <Earthworm_Jim> 14"Tha should not 'ave survived."
  378. [18:37] <Earthworm_Jim> 14"Not 'ere, not ever."
  379. [18:37] <Earthworm_Jim> Bones takes a step forward, cautiously, looking at the odd device.
  380. [18:38] <Tyerros_Monn> "What is it?"
  381. [18:39] <Earthworm_Jim> 14"...Et's tha 'ower Field of me old sword. 'ow tha 'ell did 'e find tha?"
  382. [18:40] <Earthworm_Jim> Bones turns to Mikhail, almost angrily.
  383. [18:40] <Earthworm_Jim> 14"Who tha 'ell is this Fething Verpine!?"
  384. [18:40] <Tyerros_Monn> "A Power Field, you say?"
  385. 06[18:41] * Tyerros_Monn is unconcerned with Bones' anger, as he stares at the precious machine in his hand.
  386. 01[18:41] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "How the hell should I know? I've talked to him all of three times for maybe a grand total of twenty minutes!"
  387. [18:44] <Earthworm_Jim> Bones unsheathes the sword at his belt and thunks it into the ground of Amadeus' tent. With the blade drawn, the recess where the small little odd device would fit into is painfully clear.
  388. 01[18:46] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "So how did you lose that, anyway?"
  389. [18:46] <Earthworm_Jim> 14"Tha' thin was lost fifteen years ago, In tha last battle me Penal Legion ever fought in as one. Et shoulda been buried by now."
  390. 06[18:46] * Havelock figures he doesn't need the gasmask anymore and takes it off
  391. 02[18:47] * Havelock (~Aqizzar@Rizon-B3007808.tx.res.rr.com) Quit
  392. 06[18:47] * Tyerros_Monn checks to see if the thing still works, again muttering prayers to the Machine God.
  393. [18:48] <Earthworm_Jim> Tyerros determines that it is still functional, but its power source has been heavily drained.
  394. [18:49] <Tyerros_Monn> "Poor thing. Abandoned for so long. It still works, amazingly, but it's glow is weak."
  395. 06[18:49] * Tyerros_Monn looks up at Bones.
  396. 01[18:49] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "So then how do you fix it?"
  397. [18:49] <Tyerros_Monn> "You may have this back, although I can understand if you wouldn't take it."
  398. [18:50] <Tyerros_Monn> "Simple. The battery is weak, but the machine still has life. A good recharging will do."
  399. [18:51] <Earthworm_Jim> Bones looks at it, then at the tech-priest. 14"Could ye do tha' fer me?"
  400. [18:51] <Tyerros_Monn> "It will take some time, but I certainly could."
  401. [18:52] <Earthworm_Jim> Bones thinks for a moment, lost in thought. Then he laughs briefly.
  402. [18:53] <Earthworm_Jim> 14"Fething thin was a better troopah then aye was."
  403. 01[18:55] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "So this is some pretty good equipment we just picked up! But... Well, we were supposed to go to Major Guillman for our next assignment, but he just gave us this stuff and said nothing else. Is there anything else in the box, Tyerros?"
  404. [18:55] <Tyerros_Monn> "Not in the box, no..."
  405. [18:56] <Tyerros_Monn> "But maybe I overlooked something."
  406. 06[18:56] * Tyerros_Monn takes out the first Data Slate that the Inquisitor gave him, boots it up and looks for useful information and orders.
  407. [18:57] <Earthworm_Jim> 14"Used et's 'ower cell ta burn tha eyes out 'f a blased Daemonhost..."
  408. [18:57] <Earthworm_Jim> 14"Fething thing nearly killed me. Killed alot o' me mates."
  409. [18:58] <Tyerros_Monn> "Surely it is a blessed spirit residing in this small machine."
  410. [18:58] <Earthworm_Jim> Bones chuckled. 14"Woulda used tha fething sword if aye could, but et got too close ta me ta swing."
  411. 01[18:59] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "It certainly sounds like it. I had never heard of a machine spirit sacrificing itself to save someone before."
  412. [18:59] <Earthworm_Jim> Bones shrugs. 14"Strange'r thin's 'ave 'appened."
  413. 01[19:01] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "So how'd you get your hands on this beauty of a weapon anyways?"
  414. 06[19:04] * Tyerros_Monn looks surprised at something he's just read from the Data Slate, then very serious.
  415. [19:04] <Earthworm_Jim> Bones shrugs again. 14"Can't fer tha life of me remember. Probably picked 'et up as a trophy on some old battlefield."
  416. [19:05] <Tyerros_Monn> "Well, this is more like what I'd expected."
  417. 06[19:06] * Mikhail_Heinsch glances over to the mechanical man.
  418. 01[19:06] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Mm? What is it?"
  419. [19:07] <Tyerros_Monn> "Verpine's... well, we'll discuss it later."
  420. 06[19:07] * Tyerros_Monn motions his head slightly towards Amadeus.
  421. 06[19:11] * Mikhail_Heinsch notices the dried blood covering most of Tyerros' body, and specks of it still on the rest of the party.
  422. [19:11] <Tyerros_Monn> "It looks like I'm needed elsewhere, Amadeus, happen to have some Stimm in here?"
  423. 01[19:11] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Amadeus! Does this basecamp have a medical area set up?"
  424. [19:12] <Earthworm_Jim> Amadeus looks over, clearly aggrivated at the continued disruption fron the group. "Yes."
  425. 01[19:12] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Well I doubt he's going to tell us where it is unless we stay here long enough that he'd consider using... Betsy. Let's get out of here guys."
  426. [19:13] <Tyerros_Monn> "Fine... hyurgh!"
  427. 06[19:13] * Tyerros_Monn swings himself off of the operating table and pulls his robes back on.
  428. [19:14] <Tyerros_Monn> "Ah... I'm gonna be sore for weeks... the flesh is far too weak."
  429. [19:15] <Tyerros_Monn> "We have a lot to do. Follow me."
  430. 06[19:16] * Tyerros_Monn makes his way out of the room, looking for a large energy source such as a motor or battery.
  431. 06[19:17] * Mikhail_Heinsch follows the bloodied, shaken Tech-Priest through the camp.
  432. 06[19:18] * Uriah follows the rest of them
  433. [19:19] <Earthworm_Jim> Tyerros finds a mobile generator set up for the purpose of recharging the Multilas turrets atop the Chimeras.
  434. 06[19:20] * Tyerros_Monn explains as they walk in a whispered voice, hoping that the Guardsmen around them will only hear garbled snippets of the conversation- it's obvious that Verpine wants this kept on the down-low:
  435. [19:21] <Tyerros_Monn> "We have a new assignment- not hard to guess at when you look at the cloaks. The Inquisitor wants us to infiltrate the Chaos fortifications here, find out what we're up against."
  436. [19:23] <Tyerros_Monn> "The Camo Cloaks will double as Hab-worker outfits when turned inside out, apparently. Obviously, we want this to be as quiet and- ow!- clean as possible- not like last time."
  437. 06[19:24] * Mikhail_Heinsch keeps his voice just as low. "To be fair, last time also had a metric crapton of Khornate cultists, and we didn't have a whole lot of support. Hard to stay quiet in those conditions."
  438. 06[19:24] * Tyerros_Monn approaches the generator, placing one hand on it and holding the Power Field generator in the other. Using Electrical Succour and Luminen Charge in conjunction, he tries to bring energy directly from the generator, through his body, to recharge the weapon.
  439. 01[19:27] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "So are we supposed to be going immediately or do we have time to get fixed up first? I don't want to have us accidentally get into combat while our guts are still slipping out of our stomachs."
  440. [19:28] <Earthworm_Jim> Tyerros grips the power field in his hand, allowing the energy from the generator to flow through his body and into the Power Field generator, to which the energy complicitly abides. In a minute, the pack is fully charged.
  441. 06[19:28] * Tyerros_Monn grins with self satisfaction and offers the Generator to the group behind him.
  442. [19:29] <Tyerros_Monn> "As good as new!"
  443. [19:32] <Earthworm_Jim> Bones collects the generator from the Tech-priest's hands, and draws his sword once again. He slips the generator into the pommel of the weapon, and snakes the cort up to the hilt where it plugs into where the field is generated over the blade. Complete, he thumbs the field on, and the blade crackles to life with a low hum as the blade takes on a blue sheen.
  444. [19:32] <Earthworm_Jim> 14"Good ta 'ave ye back, lad."
  445. 06[19:32] * Tyerros_Monn smiles, proud of his work.
  446. [19:35] <Tyerros_Monn> "In regards to your question, Mikhail... the description doesn't say, however..."
  447. 06[19:35] * Tyerros_Monn takes a look around
  448. [19:35] <Tyerros_Monn> "We've got a fair presence here, but it
  449. [19:36] <Tyerros_Monn> 's only safe to assume that the enemy's is greater. We should take as little time as possible- every hour gives them time to reinforce."
  450. [19:37] <Tyerros_Monn> "There are a few things I'll need before we head out- common things- but if you have need to requisition some items or aid, you had best do it fast."
  451. 01[19:37] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Then we'd better damned well hope that we don't go into combat. I doubt we could handle it."
  452. [19:39] <Tyerros_Monn> "Agreed. But if all goes well, that won't be necessary. We should stock up on Stimms just in case."
  453. 01[19:40] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "We'll need a plan if we ever actually do go into combat, though. But all I can think of is letting Bones cut everyone up with that sword. Not to mention he's the least beaten up."
  454. [19:41] <Earthworm_Jim> 14"Not a bad plan; 'cept fer tha lack a stealth."
  455. [19:41] <Tyerros_Monn> "That is a point... our best bet is to have an effective escape strategy. I doubt we'll get another Valkyrie extraction."
  456. 01[19:41] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "The rest of us kind of only have guns anyways."
  457. [19:43] <Tyerros_Monn> "We should see if we can requisition some blind grenades."
  458. 01[19:43] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Smoke too, perhaps."
  459. [19:44] <Tyerros_Monn> "And Photon Flash, of course."
  460. [19:44] <Tyerros_Monn> "I also need a new Charge Pack for Lassie."
  461. [19:45] <Uriah> "Many more things to smite our foes with! Huzzah!"
  462. 01[19:45] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Either way, let's quit standing around and start getting to work."
  463. [19:45] <Tyerros_Monn> "Oh look."
  464. [19:45] <Tyerros_Monn> "Another message. Convenient."
  465. 06[19:45] * Tyerros_Monn reads from his Data Slate.
  466. [19:46] <Tyerros_Monn> "Report to Cyssero, the medicae whom you arrived here with, then head out immediately once you have procured whatever supplies you deem necessary. Do not keep me waiting too long, however; We do not want to give the Archenemy so much time to prepare." - Verpine
  467. [19:46] <Tyerros_Monn> "... None of you are bugged, by any chance, are you?"
  468. 01[19:47] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "I'd be tempted to say yes as a joke, but I guess jokes don't mix with Inquisitors. Either way, let's get moving."
  469. 06[19:47] * Mikhail_Heinsch goes off to find Cyssero.
  470. 06[19:47] * Tyerros_Monn follows Mikhail
  471. 06[19:47] * Uriah charges after them.
  472. [19:53] <Earthworm_Jim> Mikhail wanders out to find Cyssero, but does not find him. Instead, he finds a Gretchin. The Gretchin's shifty eyes denote his paranoid demeanor, and he appears to be hiding from something. As Mikhail approaches, the Gretchin notices him and speaks in a raspy whisper 4"Is he still out there?"1.
  473. 01[19:54] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "...Who?"
  474. 01[19:54] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "And for that matter, who the hell are you?"
  475. [19:54] <Uriah> "A Xeno! Fear not brothers, I got this!"
  476. 06[19:54] * Uriah reaches for his hellpistol.
  477. 06[19:55] * Tyerros_Monn does nothing to stop Uriah. He actually looks forward to testing the combustible nature of lesser Orks.
  478. [19:56] <Earthworm_Jim> The Gretchin cringes in fear. 4"Please! No kicking! Krunk kicks Noodles enough!"
  479. 01[19:56] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Oh, him. Right."
  480. [19:56] <Tyerros_Monn> "Krunk, you said?"
  481. 01[19:56] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Anyways, do you know where the doctor is?"
  482. [19:57] <Uriah> "Oh bother!"
  483. 06[19:57] * Uriah takes his hand off the pistol
  484. 06[19:58] * Tyerros_Monn is slightly disappointed that he can't watch the little thing blow up.
  485. [19:58] <Earthworm_Jim> The Gretchin nods swiftly eager to please. 4"Yeah yeah, I know where the doctor is. Follow Noodles, Noodles will take you there!"
  486. 06[19:59] * Mikhail_Heinsch unslings his Lasgun, just in case.
  487. 01[19:59] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Works for me."
  488. [19:59] <Tyerros_Monn> "If you're taking us to some Greenskin doctor... Noodles..."
  489. 06[20:00] * Tyerros_Monn whispers to Mikhail and Uriah "how do you figure a Greenskin gets a name like 'Noodles'?"
  490. 01[20:00] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "How does one get a name like Krunk?"
  491. [20:01] <Tyerros_Monn> "Well, you know, Krunk sounds... Orky..."
  492. 01[20:02] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "And Noodles sounds like something an Ork would name a thing that looks like... noodles."
  493. 06[20:02] * Tyerros_Monn motions to the Gretchin "like... Noodles!?"
  494. [20:03] <Earthworm_Jim> Noodles waddles off towards the doctor. Some of the guardsmen deliver swift kicks to the small greenskin as he passes by, making pained whines with each blow. Some day when he's bigger, he thinks...
  495. 01[20:03] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Well, from an ork point of view, you see."
  496. [20:05] <Tyerros_Monn> "... Xenos..."
  497. [20:06] <Earthworm_Jim> While they get to the doctor, Noodles actually encounters another, larger gretchin heading the other direction. The other gretchin sneers, and continues on his way. Noodles sneers back, and turns to gauge the group's reaction. 4"That's Muffin. He's a mean one."
  498. 01[20:07] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "What are you Gretchins doing here anyways?"
  499. [20:07] <Tyerros_Monn> "I thought that would be a positive quality among your kind."
  500. [20:07] <Earthworm_Jim> Noodles crosses his arms and humpfs. 4"Muffin is an idiot."
  501. [20:08] <Tyerros_Monn> "Oh."
  502. [20:09] <Tyerros_Monn> "I wasn't aware that Orks had 'idiots'."
  503. [20:10] <Earthworm_Jim> Noodles nods. 4"We do. Muffin is one."
  504. [20:11] <Tyerros_Monn> "Good to know."
  505. 01[20:11] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Intriguing. Now, onwards to the doctor, please."
  506. 06[20:11] * Tyerros_Monn jots this note down in his new Data Slate.
  507. [20:12] <Uriah> "Indeed! Direct us to the medical officer xeno!
  508. [20:12] <Earthworm_Jim> Noodles nods quickly and hurries off. 4"Yeah yeah yeah, Noodles is on the case!"
  509. [20:15] <Earthworm_Jim> Noodles hobbles off, and eventually the group gets to the doctor. Though it would have been faster had noodles not been kicked so many time by passing Guardsmen.
  510. [20:15] <Earthworm_Jim> You realise the guard seem to be doing this out of habit, and possibly even reflex, as they don't seem to pay it any mind.
  511. [20:17] <Tyerros_Monn> "Hahhhh... what's up, doc?"
  512. [20:18] <Uriah> "Friend doctor! Greetings once more! How was your glorious day in the Imperium?"
  513. [20:21] <Earthworm_Jim> The doctor looks at the newcomers and sighs.
  514. [20:21] <Earthworm_Jim> "What can I do for you."
  515. 01[20:22] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "If you've got better equipment this time around, then the Inquisitor has ordered us to report for some extra patching up, we need to be fit, and fast."
  516. 01[20:23] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "In other words, hope you remembered the lube this time, doc."
  517. [20:23] <Uriah> "Yes! We need the advantage of superiority in our battle against Chaos!"
  518. [20:24] <Tyerros_Monn> "Some Stimm wouldn't hurt, either."
  519. [20:25] <Tyerros_Monn> "Oh, and we'll need equipment. We can't waste time so we need it prepared while you're operating on us. I trust that won't be a problem."
  520. [20:26] <Earthworm_Jim> The doctor nods and walks over to a supply chest sitting in the corner. He puts on a pair of thick thermal gloves, and holds up his hands, turning back to face the group.
  521. [20:26] <Earthworm_Jim> "I'll see what I can do."
  522. 01[20:26] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "I doubt the doctor is packing grenades, Tyerros. One of us will probably have to go out to find the rest."
  523. [20:29] <Tyerros_Monn> "I'm aware of that. Bones. Go to the Quartermaster and tell them to bring us a Laspistol charge pack, Blind and Photon Flash Grenades if they've got them. You can tell them it's on the Inquisitor's orders, but don't if you don't have to, and do NOT discuss our mission with anyone. Mikhail, Uriah, if you have any other requests, now is the time to make them."
  524. 01[20:37] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Unless I can get a Hellgun and backpack, nope."
  525. 01[20:38] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Not that I'd be using them for this mission, of course."
  526. [21:33] <Earthworm_Jim> Bones heads off to find the quartermaster, Noodles in tow. The doctor reatches into the deep-freeze chest to retrieve various medical implements while the rest of the group mills about in the medical tent.
  527. [21:35] <Tyerros_Monn> "Mikhail, Uriah, how are you feeling? We haven't exactly had a good rest in awhile, and though I can take power from the machines, you can't. Want some Recaf?"
  528. [21:36] <Uriah> "No need esteemed friend! I feel magnificent and ready for battle!"
  529. 01[21:36] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "May as well, if this mission goes well we can have some actual sleep afterwards anyways."
  530. [21:38] <Tyerros_Monn> "Whatever you say, Cleric. Just don't fall asleep in the middle of a critical situation. We'll find some Recaf for you later, Mikhail."
  531. [21:40] <Uriah> "I have no need for Refac for I have the Emperor's light to keep me alert and aware!" Ehahahaha!"
  532. 06[21:42] * Mikhail_Heinsch chuckles lightly.
  533. [21:42] <Tyerros_Monn> "Anyway, let's get ready for... whatever the Medicae has for us."
  534. [21:42] <Earthworm_Jim> The doctor turns around, bristling with medicae equipment.
  535. [21:42] <Earthworm_Jim> "Whose first?"
  536. 01[21:42] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "COMRADE! Fear not! For the Emperor's light is channeled through this tasty beverage! Let it warm your spirits as well as your body!"
  537. 06[21:43] * Tyerros_Monn once again steps out of his robes, folding them neatly and placing them beside an operating table.
  538. [21:43] <Uriah> "..."
  539. [21:43] <Tyerros_Monn> "I might as well, I've still got a bit of a buzz from my last surgery, after all."
  540. [21:44] <Uriah> "PERHAPS YOU ARE RIGHT! How foolish I am for denying such an offer especially if such a beverage has the Emperor's light!
  541. 06[21:45] * Mikhail_Heinsch coughs hard to clear his throat after that terrible performance. "Right, try not to bump all the little whatchamagigs in his chest, doc, never know which one fires his eye lasers."
  542. [21:48] <Earthworm_Jim> Tyerros lies down on the stretcher and the doctor dives into his chest cavity.
  543. 06[21:48] * Tyerros_Monn ignores the other two and lays down on the operating table with a deep sigh. Getting cut into has become an all-too familiar sensation as of late.
  544. [21:48] <Earthworm_Jim> The doctor works his magic, and Tyerros is repaired and ready to go. Better yet, he doesn't feel a thing.
  545. [21:50] <Earthworm_Jim> The doctor clasps his hands together. "So, whose next?"
  546. 01[21:51] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "I guess I'll go next."
  547. [21:52] <Earthworm_Jim> Mikhail lies down on the table, and the doctor cracks his knuckles. He goes to work like a whirling vivisection dervish, slicing up the hapless guardsman with the practiced skill of a master churgeon.
  548. 06[21:54] * Tyerros_Monn stands up and looks himself over. Is he dead? It's the only way he can imagine being in so little pain at the moment. He thinks about asking the doctor if he's some sort of flesh-knitting psyker, but thinks better of it.
  549. [21:55] <Earthworm_Jim> Mikhail takes 1 wound of damage first, as he slips up and accidently ruptures the spleen, but a quick stapling and cautrization torch fixes the issue. Mikhail heals 5 points of damage.
  550. 01[21:58] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Well, that was much better than last time. Thanks, doc."
  551. 01[21:58] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "That leaves Uriah, and I know Bones has some scrapes on him too."
  552. [22:00] <Uriah> "Haha! Let's get this over with then! For the Emperor!"
  553. 06[22:00] * Uriah lays down onto the table.
  554. [22:02] <Earthworm_Jim> Uriah is healed. The Emperor's mercy cleanses all wounds.
  555. 06[22:04] * Tyerros_Monn relaxes and awaits Bones' return
  556. [22:05] <Uriah> "As expected! The Emperor's mercy blesses us with renewal!"
  557. [22:05] <Tyerros_Monn> "Yes..."
  558. [22:05] <Earthworm_Jim> Bones does not return.
  559. 06[22:06] * Tyerros_Monn thinks about something, seemingly staring through Uriah
  560. [22:06] <Tyerros_Monn> "Allow your faith to be your armor..."
  561. 06[22:09] * Tyerros_Monn shakes himself back to reality.
  562. [22:09] <Tyerros_Monn> "Bones should have been back by now. That damn Gretchin probably got tem both lost..."
  563. 01[22:10] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Yeah, let's go find him."
  564. [22:10] <Tyerros_Monn> "My thoughts exactly."
  565. [22:11] <Uriah> "Let us go forth! Comrade Bones waits!"
  566. 06[22:11] * Tyerros_Monn gets up and goes to look for Bones and the Quartermaster, kicking any Gretchin he happens by o the way.
  567. 06[22:11] * Mikhail_Heinsch follows Tyerros
  568. 06[22:11] * Uriah charges out after them.
  569. [22:14] <Earthworm_Jim> It's not hard to find where Bones is, as the commotion gathering around him is impossible to miss. In a wider portion of the camp, dozens of guardsmen circle around what looks to be Bones and a Commissar locking swords with one another. The smaller Commissar deftly dances his blade with the form of a true duellist, but Bones, despite his huge stature, manages to put up a shield of swings and
  570. [22:14] <Earthworm_Jim> turn aside each blade thrust at him. Bones appears to be fighting defensively, but clearly has the upper hand.
  571. 06[22:15] * Mikhail_Heinsch tries to yell above the crowd, "What's going on here?!"
  572. [22:15] <Tyerros_Monn> "Well, can't say I was expecting this."
  573. [22:15] <Uriah> "Such finesse! The Emperor has blessed this one with great swordmanship!"
  574. 06[22:17] * Tyerros_Monn makes his way close the center of the audience
  575. 06[22:17] * Mikhail_Heinsch follows suit.
  576. 06[22:18] * Uriah follows after them.
  577. [22:18] <Earthworm_Jim> The Commissar thrusts forward, but at the last second feints into an upward swing aimed at Bones' chin. Bones takes a step backwards, allowing the blade to pass harmlessly past his face and laches out with a palm, nearly shoving the Commissar over.
  578. [22:19] <Earthworm_Jim> 14"Do ye yield, laddie?"
  579. [22:19] <Tyerros_Monn> "Well well well. Not bad, is he?"
  580. [22:20] <Earthworm_Jim> The Commissar snarls and regains his footing, redoubling his efforts against the larger guardsman.
  581. [22:20] <Tyerros_Monn> "So, how do we keep these two from gutting each other?"
  582. 06[22:21] * Mikhail_Heinsch grabs a nearby Guardsman by the shoulder. "You! Why are they fighting?!"
  583. [22:22] <Earthworm_Jim> The guardsman, formerly laughing, gawks at Mikhail as he's dragged aside. The man merely spats out a curt mumble and a shrug at Mikhail before breaking free of his grasp and resumes chatter with his commrades.
  584. [22:22] <Uriah> "This is not what the Emperor wishes! They should be taking the fight to our hated foes!"
  585. 01[22:23] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Bah!"
  586. 06[22:23] * Mikhail_Heinsch yells out to Bones. "Bones! What's going on?"
  587. 06[22:23] * Tyerros_Monn draws his metal staff.
  588. [22:23] <Tyerros_Monn> "Yes. I've seen enough of this."
  589. 06[22:24] * Tyerros_Monn await an opening to charge in and knock the sword from the Commissar's hands.
  590. [22:25] <Earthworm_Jim> The Commissar doubles back, and swings with all his might at Bones. Bones parries the Commissar's strike with a double-handed swing directly at the swords hilt. The Commissar's weapon flickers intermittently as the power field strains against the blow, and then finally Bone's freshly charged sword shatters through the Commissar's weapon. The Commissar stares in mute disbelief as the blade breaks
  591. [22:25] <Earthworm_Jim> free and lands harmlessly in the dirt a few feet away.
  592. 06[22:25] * Tyerros_Monn relaxes a bit.
  593. [22:26] <Tyerros_Monn> "Well, our friend is quite capable of taking care of himself, isn't he?
  594. [22:26] <Tyerros_Monn> "
  595. [22:26] <Earthworm_Jim> The Commissar is brought back to reality as Bones lifts his blade point inches from the Commissar's face. 14"Well, do ye yield nao?"
  596. 01[22:26] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Seems so."
  597. 06[22:27] * Tyerros_Monn steps forward into the ring and shouts "okay, Guardsmen, the show's over, move on and get back to work."
  598. 06[22:28] * Mikhail_Heinsch walks towards the center of the rather large gathering.
  599. [22:28] <Earthworm_Jim> The Commissar glances angrily at Tyerros as he makes his presence known. 4"Who the feth are you? I demand you apprehend this beast immediately!"
  600. 01[22:29] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "And what has Bones done to wrong you so, Commissar?"
  601. 06[22:30] * Tyerros_Monn looks at the Commissar without his usual condescension.
  602. [22:30] <Earthworm_Jim> 4"You're with him?" 1The Commissar spats out, disgusted. He stares hard at Mikhail as if his very stare could kill men.
  603. [22:30] <Tyerros_Monn> "Tech-Priest Tyerros, sir, and this 'beast' is under our protection. Throne Agents, you know."
  604. 01[22:31] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Yes, yes, The man you just tried to kill is under the direct command of Inquisitor Verpine."
  605. [22:31] <Tyerros_Monn> "If you're this displeased about his presence, why don't you take it out on one of the little Greenskins wandering your camp?"
  606. [22:31] <Earthworm_Jim> The Commissar looks as if he's about to explode before stomping off in the direction of the Inquisitor. 4"I will have all of your heads for this insult! I will see you all dead! DEAD!"
  607. [22:31] <Tyerros_Monn> "It's practically what they're there for."
  608. [22:32] <Earthworm_Jim> As the Commissar walks off, he delivers an especially vicious kick to Noodles, who squawks in pain.
  609. 06[22:32] * Tyerros_Monn can't help but shout after the Commissar- "that's better isn't it?"
  610. [22:33] <Earthworm_Jim> The Commissar scowls, and sends a bolter round screaming over Tyerros's head.
  611. [22:33] <Uriah> "Valiant brother Bones! Are you well? Any injuries perhaps!?"
  612. [22:33] <Tyerros_Monn> "Sorry my little green friend, but we can ill-afford the loss of the power swor- Bones, before our crucial mission."
  613. 06[22:34] * Tyerros_Monn flinches from the Bolter shot.
  614. 01[22:34] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Oh if only that had hit, he'd be in so much more trouble."
  615. 06[22:34] * Mikhail_Heinsch chuckles lightly.
  616. 06[22:35] * Tyerros_Monn gets up and brushes himself off. "Indeed. I'm okay, by the way."
  617. [22:35] <Earthworm_Jim> Bones sits back in the mud and laughs. He gathers up the broken pieces of the commissar's power sword, and begins fitting them into a somewhat working order so as to make them easier to carry.
  618. [22:35] <Earthworm_Jim> 14"Nother one ta add ta me collection!"
  619. [22:35] <Tyerros_Monn> "Er, I'd consider leaving that, Bones."
  620. 01[22:36] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Right, so, we're far enough behind as is. Did you get the things we need, Bones?"
  621. [22:36] <Tyerros_Monn> "Nice as it is, I think the Commissar will be rather cross if he can't reforge his blade."
  622. [22:36] <Earthworm_Jim> 14"Nah, 's mine by right a battle.'E wants it? 'E can come try ta take et back."
  623. [22:36] <Tyerros_Monn> "It's your head, Bones."
  624. [22:38] <Earthworm_Jim> Bones sets his pack down, and places the sword inside. For the first time, you really notice Bones's backpack, which seems to blend into the monolithic man's form. You catch a glance inside, and in the pack you notice dozens of broken blades of all shapes strewn about within.
  625. 01[22:38] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "I'm sure the Commissariat has those things laying around all over the place, anyways. And if anyone finds out the Commissar just interrupted an Inquisitorial mission - however slight - I doubt he'd have any support getting it back, so Bones can just knock him back down."
  626. [22:39] <Earthworm_Jim> 14"One day aye'm gonna fix all these n' have some fun..."
  627. 01[22:39] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Now, again... Bones, did you get the things Tyerros wanted? There's a lot at stake for this mission."
  628. [22:43] <Earthworm_Jim> Bones looks at the ground he's sitting on. 14"Neva made it ta tha quart'amasta; Tha lad beat me ta et."
  629. [22:43] <Tyerros_Monn> "The lad?"
  630. [22:43] <Earthworm_Jim> Bones nods. 14"Tha lad aye just fought."
  631. 01[22:44] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Damn, well, go get yourself patched up at the medicae tent, then. We need everyone to be fit. The rest of us'll find the Quartermaster."
  632. 03[23:06] * Bellend (cgiirc@Rizon-D735B391.lnse2.cha.bigpond.net.au) has joined #DHGame
  633. [23:07] <Bellend> Isn't 40k for fags?
  634. [23:26] <Earthworm_Jim> A lone guardsman stands behind the group, sword at his belt as he posit's his question to the group. He looks to each member of the group in-turn, eagerly expecting a response.
  635. [23:28] <Uriah> "Now who are you friend? And do make sense with your statements!"
  636. [23:28] <Bellend> I'm Bellend, friend.
  637. [23:28] <Tyerros_Monn> "...What?"
  638. [23:28] <Bellend> And my statments make perfect sense.
  639. 01[23:29] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "You're not my friend, pal."
  640. [23:29] <Tyerros_Monn> "No, they don't. Explain."
  641. [23:29] <Uriah> "Greetings valiant comrade Belland, I am the Cleric Uriah, I channel the Emperor's fury through battle and leading the charge!"
  642. 06[23:29] * Tyerros_Monn starts walking off to find the Quartermaster, expecting this newcomer to follow him.
  643. [23:30] <Tyerros_Monn> "You get used to him. Almost."
  644. [23:30] <Bellend> "I'm here to meet with a group of men, whom match your description."
  645. [23:31] <Earthworm_Jim> Tyerros wanders off to the Quartermaster. Bones follows, and Tyerros curiously notes that Noodles has climbed onto Bones' back. Not only that, Bones does not seem to mind at all.
  646. 01[23:31] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "By whose orders, may I ask?"
  647. [23:32] <Bellend> "I know not, I simply received a letter, bearing the inquistorial seal"
  648. [23:32] <Bellend> Shrugs
  649. [23:33] <Tyerros_Monn> "Yes, he tends to work like that."
  650. 01[23:33] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Well, I guess you're not the first whackjob to tack onto our group like that. Let's get moving, then."
  651. [23:34] <Bellend> "Who's leading this ragtag group of nobdies anywho?"
  652. 01[23:34] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "That really seems to depend on whether it's me or Tyerros who tells everyone what to do first, I've noted."
  653. [23:35] <Uriah> "The Emperor guides our group friend, as does he guides everyone else!"
  654. [23:35] <Tyerros_Monn> "Verpine. Well, it should be. Seems I'm leading us in the field."
  655. [23:36] <Bellend> "Fucking priests. Whats our task, the letter I read was very vague."
  656. [23:36] <Tyerros_Monn> "He sends me messages through the Data Slates, and I pass those on to you."
  657. [23:36] <Tyerros_Monn> "Do you like worms and axes, Bellend?"
  658. 01[23:37] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Either way, right now we're heading to the quartermaster for, lesse, what was it again? Right, various assorted blind and flash grenades, and I guess Tyerros wanted some ammo. After that, we're going to the Hive."
  659. [23:37] <Bellend> "Living as a feral worlder, you get a taste for thew two."
  660. 01[23:37] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Which reminds me. Bones! I suggest seeing the doctor before we leave, if you need it. Just because we're avoiding combat by any means doesn't mean we'll always be able to."
  661. 01[23:38] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Different kind of worms, Bellend."
  662. [23:39] <Tyerros_Monn> "He's gifted, to saythe least."
  663. [23:39] <Bellend> "Alright mates, what kinda worms we talking about?"
  664. [23:39] <Tyerros_Monn> "But yes. This is a mission of stealth. Infiltrate, observe and, should the opportunity arise, sabotage."
  665. 01[23:40] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "The ones that eat your lungs, of course. We're hoping we got most of those, though."
  666. [23:40] <Bellend> "Well, then I'm just your man for this job."
  667. [23:40] <Tyerros_Monn> "I wouldn't count on it..."
  668. 06[23:40] * Tyerros_Monn spits on the floor, ridding himself of the imaginary taste.
  669. [23:41] <Uriah> "Wonderful! Another man to help slay the enemies of the Imperium! Now let's move onward with our newest brother!"
  670. [23:42] <Tyerros_Monn> "I wish I had your enthusiasm..."
  671. [23:42] <Tyerros_Monn> "The more men we have tagging along, the more chances at us blowing our cover."
  672. 06[23:43] * Bellend shrugs
  673. [23:43] <Uriah> "The more heretics slain, the better! Ehahahaha!"
  674. [23:43] <Bellend> "As long as your faster than the others you're going to be just fine princess."
  675. 01[23:44] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "It only takes one to blow our cover, Tyerros. And besides."
  676. 01[23:44] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "I don't think our current group is the sneakiest ever, anyways."
  677. [23:44] <Tyerros_Monn> "Do you doubt the mission, Mikhail?"
  678. 01[23:45] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "To doubt is to invite failure. Of course I don't, I'm just making sure everyone is aware of our faults as well as our strengths."
  679. 01[23:45] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Because ignoring flaws invites death."
  680. [23:46] <Bellend> "I'm surprised you cunts get anything done, with all the talking you do."
  681. [23:47] <Tyerros_Monn> "Failure is not acceptable. Not in these straits, at least. I will not even consider an unacceptable performance."
  682. [23:47] <Earthworm_Jim> Bones stops dead in his tracks, staring off into the distance.
  683. 01[23:47] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Which is why we're not going to fail."
  684. [23:48] <Tyerros_Monn> "Bones?"
  685. [23:48] <Bellend> "So when you lads are quite ready, which way we headed and who are killing?"
  686. 06[23:48] * Mikhail_Heinsch tries to see what Bones is looking at.
  687. [23:49] <Earthworm_Jim> Bones shakes a bit, as if brought back to reality, 14"Wot? Eh, nothin; Jus a bit a deja'vu."
  688. [23:49] <Earthworm_Jim> Bones continues on with the group.
  689. 01[23:49] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Right then, let's go, we still need that equipment."
  690. 06[23:49] * Mikhail_Heinsch walks off to find the Quartermaster.
  691. [23:49] <Bellend> "Follows suite"
  692. [23:49] <Earthworm_Jim> 14"Feels loike aye knew tha Commi'sar aye jus fought."
  693. 06[23:49] * Bellend follows
  694. 06[23:50] * Uriah charges after them once more!
  695. 01[23:50] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Well, it's easy to mismatch them, what with the hat and all."
  696. [23:57] <Earthworm_Jim> The group arives at the quartermaster's tent. Inside, they find a man nearly as stocky as bones tending an autocannon amidst piles upon piles of weaponry and gear.
  697. [23:57] <Earthworm_Jim> He does not appear to notice your entry
  698. [23:58] <Tyerros_Monn> "Nice one. We'll take it."
  699. 01[23:58] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Well, they seem to be well stocked here."
  700. [23:58] <Bellend> "Yo dickhead."
  701. [23:58] <Earthworm_Jim> The stocky man hurls his wrench at Bellend's head, which knocks him on his ass.
  702. [23:58] <Earthworm_Jim> 3"Shut your face, Bellend."
  703. 06[23:59] * Bellend rubs his head. and slowly stands up, clearly dazed.
  704. 06[23:59] * Tyerros_Monn flinches a bit as the wrench passes him by.
  705. [23:59] <Uriah> "Greetings comrade quartermaster! We have come in need of battle armaments! Could you provide us with some to help smite our foes!?"
  706. Session Time: Mon Apr 11 00:00:00 2011
  707. [00:00] <Tyerros_Monn> "...Ignore him. We're not looking for anything fancy."
  708. [00:00] <Tyerros_Monn> "He just had a little too much Recaf."
  709. [00:00] <Earthworm_Jim> The quartermaster cuts the Cleric off mid-sentence and hurls a wrench at him too, which whiplashes his head back and ricochets off his helmet. He remains standing.
  710. [00:01] <Earthworm_Jim> 3"Shut your face too, ... , whoever you are."
  711. 06[00:01] * Tyerros_Monn gets ready to dodge incoming wrenches.
  712. 06[00:01] * Bellend flinches as he sees the wrench.
  713. 01[00:01] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Right, so."
  714. [00:01] <Uriah> "Now that was unnecessary! Clearly you require some manners and lessons in etiquette! Emperor shield you in your future endeavors."
  715. [00:01] <Tyerros_Monn> "So..."
  716. [00:01] <Earthworm_Jim> 3"Now, what can I do you boys for? Keep it slow and simple, please."
  717. 01[00:02] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Grenades. Blind and photon flash, as I recall."
  718. 06[00:02] * Tyerros_Monn takes a breath before beginning.
  719. 01[00:02] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "And I believe my friend here needed another Lasgun charge pack."
  720. [00:02] <Tyerros_Monn> "Exactly."
  721. [00:02] <Tyerros_Monn> "Well, a Laspistol pack, actually."
  722. 01[00:03] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Well it has Las in it, so I was close!"
  723. 06[00:03] * Bellend paces back and forth intently.
  724. [00:03] <Earthworm_Jim> The quartermaster nods. 3"See, that's all I needed. Not smart curses or long-winded bullshit."
  725. [00:03] <Tyerros_Monn> "I know it will sound suspect, but we really can't afford to tell you what this is for."
  726. [00:03] <Tyerros_Monn> "A mission of utmost importance to your success here. That's all I can offer."
  727. 01[00:03] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Yeah, you'll have to excuse the Priest, he is, after all, a Priest."
  728. [00:04] <Earthworm_Jim> He laughs as he digs through his equipment, looking for the aformentioned gear. 3"Don't bother. I can tell you're Verpine's crew."
  729. 01[00:04] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "And I honestly don't know who this other jerk is."
  730. 06[00:04] * Bellend flips of Mikhail
  731. [00:05] <Earthworm_Jim> 3"That's Bellend. He's one of them Departmento Assassins. For a sneaky son-of-a-bitch, he's got some goddamn mouth."
  732. [00:06] <Bellend> "Yeah he aint fucking wrong there"
  733. 01[00:06] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "An Assassin? Looks like he might be of some use, then."
  734. 06[00:06] * Bellend continues pacing
  735. [00:06] <Tyerros_Monn> "We've noticed. Don't worry, he won't be around here much longer, and if you're lucky, he won't come back."
  736. 06[00:06] * Bellend stops flipping Mikhail the bird.
  737. [00:06] <Tyerros_Monn> "Although that isn't the hope, of course."
  738. [00:07] <Earthworm_Jim> The Quartermaster chuckles. 3"If he's with you, he's Verpine's problem now."
  739. 06[00:07] * Bellend stops pacing, and leans against a wall.
  740. 01[00:07] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "We'll remember to let him greet Verpine first, next time we see him."
  741. 06[00:07] * Mikhail_Heinsch chuckles.
  742. 06[00:08] * Tyerros_Monn rubs the top of his head
  743. [00:08] <Tyerros_Monn> "Yeah..."
  744. [00:08] <Earthworm_Jim> The Quartermaster leans up and sets down a case of grenades on the table, and smacks a Laspistol pack on it.
  745. [00:08] <Earthworm_Jim> 3"There. 6 Blind and 6 Flash, primed and ready to go. Hope you know how the hell to use them."
  746. [00:10] <Tyerros_Monn> "This'll be perfect, thank you. Got a Pistol Pack?"
  747. 01[00:10] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "...It's ontop of the grenades, Tyerros."
  748. [00:11] <Bellend> "Yeah open your eyes, Mate"
  749. [00:11] <Tyerros_Monn> "Oh. Of course it is."
  750. [00:11] <Earthworm_Jim> 3"Hasn't gotten his augmetic eyes yet, I see."
  751. 06[00:11] * Mikhail_Heinsch leans in towards the Quartermaster, chuckling lightly again. "Already made that joke."
  752. 06[00:12] * Tyerros_Monn exchanges the old pack in Lassie for the new one, pocketing the volatile thing someplace it's not in much danger of being smashed.
  753. 06[00:15] * Mikhail_Heinsch glances over all the scratches and bloodied areas on Bones.
  754. 06[00:16] * Bellend looks at some old battle wounds, still waiting.
  755. 01[00:16] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "You want to get those fixed up before we head off, Bones? Won't be easy out there."
  756. [00:16] <Earthworm_Jim> Bones smiles. 14"Aye'm Fine. Yer conc'rn is noted."
  757. 01[00:18] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Then all that's left to do is start the mission."
  758. 06[00:18] * Mikhail_Heinsch waves back at the Quartermaster as he leaves the tent. "Good day, Sir!"
  759. 06[00:19] * Bellend gets up "About fucking time."
  760. [00:19] <Uriah> "Farewell friend quartermaster, I forgive your trangression and wish you well!"
  761. 06[00:19] * Bellend Follows after Mikhail.
  762. 06[00:19] * Uriah leaves.
  763. [00:19] <Bellend> "Cya cunt"
  764. 06[00:19] * Bellend leaves the tent
  765. [00:20] <Earthworm_Jim> The Quartermaster hocks another wrench at Bellend, and nails him in the back of the head. He retains his stability on the ground, but that one really hurt.
  766. 06[00:20] * Tyerros_Monn begins throwing on a Cameleoline cloak as he follows the others out.
  767. 06[00:20] * Mikhail_Heinsch dons his cloak as well.
  768. [00:21] <Bellend> "Shit, I should stop running my mouth sometimes, that hurt like a bitch"
  769. 06[00:21] * Bellend rubs his head
  770. [00:21] <Tyerros_Monn> "You learn something new every day."
  771. 01[00:22] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Running your mouth will hurt a lot fucking more where we're going. Blow our cover, and we're dead. capiché?"
  772. 06[00:22] * Bellend Ignores Tyerros and pulls his Cameleoline cloak over his head.
  773. 06[00:23] * Mikhail_Heinsch goes back for the grenades.
  774. [00:23] <Bellend> "He forgot the nades?"
  775. 06[00:24] * Bellend burst out in raucus laughter.
  776. [00:24] <Uriah> "The Emperor will guide us and smite our foes from the shadows! Most exciting! Ehahaha!"
  777. [00:24] <Earthworm_Jim> Bones walks out of the tent carrying the case of grenades, laughing.
  778. 06[00:24] * Uriah puts the cloak over him.
  779. 01[00:24] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "It's 'aight guys, Bones got us covered."
  780. 06[00:24] * Mikhail_Heinsch adjusts his sunglasses.
  781. 06[00:24] * Tyerros_Monn wordlessly grabs one of each grenade from the crate.
  782. [00:24] <Bellend> "Okay everyone got there shit? Good. Great. Grand"
  783. [00:24] <Bellend> "lets go"
  784. 01[00:24] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Not so fast."
  785. 06[00:25] * Tyerros_Monn then pockets his monocle and gets ready to move.
  786. 01[00:25] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "We need to figure out the best way into the Hive, I doubt we can just walk up to the Guards' front-lines and knock on the front door."
  787. [00:25] <Bellend> "Yeah thats a good point, any ideas?"
  788. [00:26] <Tyerros_Monn> "Underground passages- there's got to be a sewer system or something."
  789. [00:26] <Bellend> "also can some one get me up to speed with what we're doing? As I mentoned earlier, th letter from Verpine was very fucking vague"
  790. [00:26] <Tyerros_Monn> "Wellllll..."
  791. 01[00:27] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "We're infiltrating the Hive we're parked outside right now. We're going to find out the extent of the cult, what kind of firepower they're packing, and we're to help any remaining loyalists."
  792. 01[00:27] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Strictly reconnaisance, the only killing you'll be doing is to make sure we don't get caught."
  793. [00:27] <Tyerros_Monn> "Congratulations, you've been brought to one of many hopeless fronts in the Imperium. This planet's rife with chaos and it's servants, and we're here to root every one out."
  794. [00:27] <Bellend> "Well, If it's recon you want, I'm your man."
  795. 01[00:27] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Unless of course they've got a very high priority target that we can easily take out, but I doubt that."
  796. [00:28] <Tyerros_Monn> "The Inquisitor seems to think they're using this planet as some sorta backdoor into our operations in the Jericho Reach. I don't know. What I do know is that what was an Agri-World is, well, this."
  797. [00:29] <Bellend> "can i get one of those Flash 'nades, you never know when one of those bloody pricks will come in handy"
  798. [00:29] <Tyerros_Monn> "Just take one from Bones."
  799. 06[00:30] * Bellend walks over to Bones "Mind if I take this badboy?" Picks up a flash nade.
  800. 01[00:30] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Each of us will be getting at least one of each."
  801. 01[00:30] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Course, there's five of us and six of each type, so I don't know who gets the sixth."
  802. [00:31] <Bellend> "I only need the flash, I don't plan on using it though"
  803. [00:31] <Bellend> "Emergencies, I mean"
  804. [00:31] <Uriah> "I suppose I shall take one then! Though fire and metal shall prevail either way! Ehahaha!"
  805. [00:31] <Tyerros_Monn> "I'll take an extra Blinder, then. I can identify when we'll need it's electronics-jamming functions.
  806. [00:31] <Tyerros_Monn> "
  807. 01[00:31] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "If our cover is blown by a force we can't kill immediately, we're to drop a 'nade and run. Got it?"
  808. 06[00:31] * Uriah grabs a grenade.
  809. [00:31] <Earthworm_Jim> Bones chuckels. 14"Ye me mean ye don't PLAN on usin et."
  810. 06[00:32] * Tyerros_Monn takes an extra Blind Grenade
  811. 06[00:32] * Mikhail_Heinsch grabs both a blind and photon flash grenade.
  812. [00:32] <Tyerros_Monn> The Blind Grenades are for getting us in, the Flash for getting us out.
  813. [00:32] <Bellend> "Whats up with this Priest, the cunt seems right bonkers if you ask me."
  814. 06[00:32] * Bellend pats Uriah on the back Jokingly
  815. 01[00:33] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "He's a Priest. Isn't that enough explanation?"
  816. 06[00:33] * Mikhail_Heinsch snickers.
  817. 06[00:33] * Bellend Snickers
  818. [00:33] <Bellend> "heh, good point"
  819. 06[00:33] * Uriah takes off his IMPRESSIVE HAT.
  820. [00:34] <Uriah> "You show me some respect you filthy feral worlder. I am a Noble and you shall respect me as such!"
  821. 01[00:34] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Now then, remember, our cameleoline cloaks can be turned inside out to function as hab-worker outfits. Disguises, so we can be a little more Inquisitive. Wear them the normal way until we get into the hive, then we'll switch them."
  822. 06[00:34] * Uriah puts on his hat.
  823. [00:34] <Uriah> "Right then! Where shall we begin brothers!?"
  824. 06[00:35] * Tyerros_Monn looks- again- through his repaired Data Slate for any information on the Hive, especially street or sewer layouts.
  825. [00:35] <Bellend> "Heh, Priests. No offence intended you uptight girl. Now I'm with Uriah on this one, how we getting into this Hive?"
  826. 01[00:35] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "I think Tyerros should lead, as well. He's probably the most knowledgable on anything that might get us into the Hive."
  827. [00:36] <Tyerros_Monn> "I'm looking for that information now..."{
  828. 06[00:40] * Bellend sits down on the ground.
  829. 06[00:42] * Tyerros_Monn considers deleting "Furious Ornithosaurs" as he scrolls through files. Maybe later.
  830. [00:43] <Bellend> "Hey since you're on that try looking up a file named lemon party."
  831. 06[00:43] * Uriah takes off his hat.
  832. [00:44] <Tyerros_Monn> "What do lemons or social gatherings have to do with this?"
  833. [00:44] <Uriah> "Any luck techpriest? The enemy grows stronger with every second wasted and they gain the advantage while we lose it."
  834. [00:44] <Bellend> "Hey tech boy, nice hat. Where did you get it?"
  835. [00:44] <Tyerros_Monn> "...What?"
  836. [00:44] <Earthworm_Jim> Krunk, upon walking by, sticks his head out over Tyerros's shoulder and takes a glance at tyerros's data slate. His face brightens eagerly as his finger hammers into the "Furious Ornithosaurs" application. The blow almost knocks the slate out of his hand.
  837. [00:44] <Tyerros_Monn> "I'm looking."
  838. [00:44] <Uriah> "Very well, I hope we can begin soon."
  839. 06[00:45] * Uriah puts on his hat.
  840. [00:45] <Tyerros_Monn> "Careful, Greenskin!"
  841. [00:45] <Earthworm_Jim> 4"OI! DAT'S A GOOD AP! OI GOT DAT ONE TOO!"
  842. 06[00:45] * Mikhail_Heinsch scratches his chin.
  843. 01[00:45] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Hey, Krunk! How... sneaky are you?"
  844. [00:45] <Tyerros_Monn> "A good... WHAT!? What are you all talking about!?"
  845. [00:45] <Uriah> "...Friend Xeno?! Greetings!"
  846. [00:46] <Earthworm_Jim> Krunk holds up a jury-rigged data slate constructed out of a sheet of plateglass, a broken Lasgun stock, some scrap metal, and a tin can. Sure enough though, the 'Furious Ornithosaurs' application displays on the screen.
  847. [00:47] <Tyerros_Monn> "That is a sacred and ancient piece of programming I recovered from ancient stores of such knowledge during my early days of indoctrination into the..."
  848. [00:47] <Bellend> "What is it?"
  849. [00:47] <Tyerros_Monn> "...Where did you get that?"
  850. [00:47] <Uriah> "Friend techpriest! What is the matter?"
  851. [00:48] <Earthworm_Jim> Krunk shrugs, and eagerly begins playing it. 4CAN NEVA BEET WAVE NOINETEEN..."
  852. 01[00:48] <Mikhail_Heinsch> "Krunk?"
  853. [00:48] <Earthworm_Jim> Krunk wanders off with his 'data slate'.
  854. [00:49] <Bellend> "what in the Emperors name just fucking happened?"
  855. [00:49] <Tyerros_Monn> "I wish I could tell you..."
  856. [00:51] <Bellend> "So you cunts know, standing around ain't going to ge us into that Hive."
  857. [00:51] <Tyerros_Monn> "Right..."
  858. 06[00:52] * Tyerros_Monn continues scrolling through folders and strange old pieces of data.
  859. 06[00:52] * Bellend gets up off of the ground, and stretches.
  860. 06[00:54] * Bellend unsheathes his mighty Sabre, and begins practicing.
  861. 06[00:55] * Bellend completely equips cameleoline cloak.
  862. [00:58] <Earthworm_Jim> Shenanigans aside, the group heads to the outer edge of the Imperial Encampment. Nodding to eachother, they draw their new Chameleoline cloaks over themselves and begin running low out across the blasted andscape assymetrically towards the Hive Nolboss. The pungent smell of decay becomes every rampant as they near the festering city, once home to untold millions; now home to Emperor knows what.
  863. [00:58] <Tyerros_Monn> "Mon."
  864. 06[00:59] * Bellend sheathes his blade.
