  1. Chapter one: Revolution (Official Part one )
  2.
  3. A land where vampires, werewolves, witches, humans, and hybrids are at war. No matter what anyone of us do, happiness has ceased to exist. This is a dark paradise as most would say. Nothing but darkness that is never ending.
  4.
  5. Crackling of the wood beneath her feet, each step is a step more into the battle field. An endless war that had started centuries before. Serena Valentine was her name. A woman seeking revenge for her sister's death by the hand of a human. The blood stains that bared her hands bore still haunted her mind. A vengeful memory. One that would make a human go into pure insanity; a sickening sight for anyone. Looking in the distance as she had laid optics on her next target in this land. Territory of the vampires. Grinning as her optics had turned from a light glistening blue to a crimson haze. Fog swayed around her and the human in the distance. A scythe in between the male's fingers.
  6.
  7. "What a brave act, deary" She cooed through her grin.
  8.
  9. Within two seconds the male started to dash to her, still having a scythe in hand. A giggle would pass through her grin. As she then let her grin change into death sentence stare. Upon having the human almost at grasping range, she would take a few steps to her right since the male was going for a straight approach. While she was on his left side, she spun and lifted her right leg to bring it to his skull; bringing him to his knees. With a sleight of hand, she wrapped her fingers around the male's throat. Bringing him to her eye level, seeing the fear in his eyes made her giggle once more.
  10.
  11. "Do you fear me, human?" She began.
  12.
  13. Looking into his eyes, she let their eyes lock. Panic struck the human. The fear of death fell upon him.
  14.
  15. "Get out of my way you pathetic human!" A scream had passed her lips as she let her hand harshly thrash the human against the tree. A blood curling scream came from the distance. She had a disgust for humans. Her crimson hair with raven locks flowed with the wind as she let her crimson optic locked onto her next target far approaching; the one that had made the scream that bats in Africa would be banging against walls. Once her hands rose above her chest to place them against his chest, and the winds began to pick up, she would let out a slight growl. The human began to sweat as his blood began to boil within its body. As it began to get too much it dropped to the ground, she snarled at it. She thought of it as an animal, one more thing to kill and feed off of. After it had took its last breath, she would smirk as she then looked around at all the other bodies around her. She let her feet begin to walk away from all of it as she let her smirk fade since she had took one more look around at all the dead bodies. A frown would form from her lips. For one little moment, she actually felt horrible for the humans. Why did they get dragged into this war? This war was originally for the werewolves, witches, vampires, and hybrids.
  16.
  17. No matter now, the war has begun and nothing can stand in their way unless a miracle happens which is highly doubtful at this point and time. Skin fair like a white rose as well as it was delicate but her heart was like a stone. Very difficult to break once set. Yet another human had come to attack her, but she let out a giggle from her lips one last time as she rose her hand and the human grabbed its throat gasping for air as she moved her hand in a gentle sway to her left, making the body hit against the tree. Bones cracking as it hit the tree as if it was nothing. Serena was not one to be messed with especially with one agenda in mind. To get revenge for her sister's death and for the war's beginning. She had originally never wanted to get into this war but she had to once her sister had died thanks to a human's hand.
  18.
  19. After that, reports of other races were losing their loved ones or innocent civilians. Hence why the war began. Her trench coat swayed in the wind as her locks had done as well. A blue mini skirt was on her body but had shorts under it from the wind as well as a white blouse that was bottomed up like a school girl. Though to add a twist were boots, and not just any boots. Steel toe boots with swords if kicked at the heel would spike out so it would make it easy for her. She did not mind getting her hands dirty but she rather kept it "clean" for the most part at least.
  20.
  21. There were too many involved in this war. She just had hoped one person she cared for most as a sister like figure had not joined but she had, she would be given no choice. She had to save her race, even though she was a mix, she did side with the witches. Walking to the next available tree or cabin nearby, she would let her ears do all of the work in order to keep track of any enemies approaching. She seemed as if she was on edge, though who wouldn't be in a war like this? I mean really, witches, werewolves, vampires and hybrids all fighting in this dreadful war; causing nothing but death. It's heartbreaking. Closing her optics she would let her hearing take over and listen for an enemy coming or not.
  22.
  23. Hearing in the distance, cracks would be heard. Her ears would twitch as she looked at the distance of which she heard the crack. Biting her bottom lip as she then rose to her feet. The wind danced through her locks, as her body would shiver going through her. Jumping from the branch to go towards the enemy once more. Seeing someone that she dearly cared for as she stopped dead in her tracks. Gasping as she covered her lips with her fingertips.
  24.
  25. "Edrei?" She softly spoke.
  26.
  27. The lady nodded and gets closer to the other. As Serena began to back up as she had tripped backwards landing on her rear. Gulping nervously as she noted that the lady got even closer to her.

  31. Screaming as she soon woke up from her sleep. Looking around as she sighed in relief that it was only a dream. Looking down at her form as she saw her onyx sheets that had silver stars all around. On her walls, it was as if she was a galaxy was put on her walls personally by god. Her locks were adored in an onyx color with crimson strands. Her ice optics shined in the dim light. As she rose from her bed, she would then go towards her closet to pick out some clothes for her school in a two hours. She usually walked since it was not so far from her home. Separating each piece of her clothes as she smiled softly. Once she found a one piece gothic dress that was ruffed on the ends and in the middle of the dress. As if it was draping down like a waterfall. Hearing a knock out of the blue, she would turn on her heels at a sight she didn't want to see let alone hear. A man she feared the most.
  32.
  33. "What are you staring at, you little skank?!" The male began to yell. "Get out and get on the bus for school. NOW!"
  34.
  35. Grabbing her backpack, her jack skellington jacket, and her ipod with her XXL skullcandy headphones, she made a sprint out her room to go to school. At least go to the bus. Once out of the house, she started walking to the bus stop. As she slipped her jacket on because it was cold outside since it rained the night before, she sighs. Slipping the headphones on as she turned on her ipod, circling through the music as she finally decided to "They don't need to understand" by Andy Biersack. Blasting the music as she continued walking to the bus stop. So many thoughts entered her head such as, "Why am I here? He treats me like shit. Why?" Upon arriving to the bus stop as she saw other kids from her school. Shying away from the crowd but looked around looking for someone to talk to.
  36.
  37. One stood out, her eyes would widen as she bites her bottom lip. As she noted that he caught her looking at him from the corner of his eye, she quickly looked away from his gaze. He was a childhood friend but when she turned fourteen, he vanished as if it was magic. Though she knew it was not magic. He just ran away with someone else. It was heartbreaking but I tried to get over it. It will always sting still. Her life had been hell. The death of her sister, the abuse from her so called step father, mother always on business trips, and her almost love running away; she was truly alone. Feeling a tap on her shoulder, she would take one earbud out as she turned around to see her friend smiling at her.
  38.
  39. "Hey Serena" She softly spoke to the women.
  40.
  41. "Hey Zasha" She spoke back to the girl.
  42.
  43. Zasha was her friend that she had known since she started going to this school four years ago. With her birthday fast approaching, and graduation around the corner too; she was nervous yet excited at the same time. Looking at the onyx locked women that had amber optics, she smiled for the first time in quite awhile. Zasha would soon gasp as Serena looked around confused.
  44.
  45. "She smiles?! Has hell frozen over?" She teased.
  46.
  47. "Zash, I'm just happy that I have a friend like you." She smirks.
  48.
  49. Zasha notes that she was upset under her mask of trying to be happy for once. There was still fear in her gaze. Alex must have scared her again, or beaten on her. Serena would look out the window as she kept one earbud in to keep her hearing open just in case her only friend needed or wanted her. As the next song played which was 'Angel with a shotgun' by The Cab. Humming to the tune as she closed her gaze while her and other students were taken to school. After a few minutes, maybe ten minutes if that, they all arrived at their school. Oxford Academy, one of the best schools in California. Sighing as she got up from her seat and put her other earbud in so she could put her hoodie up; to hide from the world.
