Thursday Pastebin #1

Welcome to my very first Pastebin news.

Why Thursday Pastebin and not Monday Pastebin? BECAUSE I SAID SO

Anyway I have lot of things to speak about so let's get started already.

1) My Next Speedgame

So my next speedgame as you all May know now is Mario & Luigi : Bowser's Inside Story (aka Mario & Luigi RPG 3)

I'm in the routing process and hope to finish it for MID-June(earlier would be better but not hoping too much neither.
It's my favourite DS game of ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL TIME and i'm really enjoying the routing as well.
For now it's pretty Reasky run (Easy and Risky Kappa) because it's not hard to dodge anything in the 2 first hours BUT any mistep might lead to a 1HIT KO (even for Bowser on the Midbus Fight).

2) Exploudathon

So yeah i'm hosting my very first marathon on the 18th of June. I Will make a pastebin soon with all informations you'll need (basically the day i'll release the Schedule which is VERY VERY VERY SOON). Submissions are closed tomorrow (you can still submit but don't expect good time slots).

This marathon is for nothing in particular just to have fun the day of My Birthday.

Everything is and will be done by myself and having your thoughts after the marathon will be greatly appreciated.

3) Scrubathon

Yeah i'm in the scrubathon and i'll be racing Shovel Knight Any % With MunchaKoopas, SDiezal and 3ngag3. The current time slot is on the 29th of June at 9 PM EST (30th of June 3 AM CEST for me in this case). I'm really hyped for this especially such a big Race in a marathon so expected to see me do some runs here and there between my routing Streams.
I said current time slot because it might change due to MunchaKoopas having to move on that Date. Whish to him that everything will go smootlhy.
I'll keep my twitter updated about the Date changing or not but you should still watch Scrubathon because IT IS STACKED.

4) About all my other Speedrun Plans ?

As you may know i have 2 other Speedgames that are Metroid Fusion and Mega Man 9.
I still need some stuff to speedrun Metroid fusion on GBA but it's coming very close.
For Mega Man 9 it will depends on 2 things. Either Capcom Re-release it as well as Mega Man 10 OR i probably will drop it because the Wii is kinda the "Family Console" so yeah i can't really use it to play any games and the Wifi in it seems broken anyway (need to check why but i have other things to do XD.

5) Speedrunning DS/3DS Games

So yeah as i said before i wanted a 3DS Capture Board but it's way too expensive for what it is.

But A LOT of 3DS/DS Games are what i'm the most interested into speedrunning because they are consoles i probably played the most.

Why i changed my Mind ?

I really thought i could at least speedrun DS Games on Desmume but to be honest most games i want to speedrun has quite a lot
of touch screen interactions (Bowser's Inside story as an example) and on desmume it's very not convenient (and it drops Touch Screen inputs sometimes which is annoying as well).

An Other issues of Desmume is the fact that some games don't run as they would normally run. Once again bowser's inside story can only run smoothly by using the Dynamic Recompiler but this Feature crash some Boss fights in the game (and i don't see myself reseting just to turn off that feature).

I used to stream a lot of pokemon in front a webcam but we are speaking about a game that is Very Static and you can play without using the Touch Screen at all. But other games that i would like to stream (Monster Hunter, Mario & Luigi series and other games) are quite nervous and moving in front of a camera is not great for a good streaming experience either.

So i'm planning to put some Money aside but i don't know when it will arrive and i can't afford to put 250€ (275$) like that I have some stuff i need to pay with that money (I could put half of it though).

So yeah it's pretty rare but for once this will be a Donation Goal for my stream.

I'll Put a vote Soon where i'll ask people if i should remove my donation Button during my 24H Marathon since i'm not the only one Running in it.

But Before and After the Marathon i'll maybe put a Donation Goal Bar.

If we hit that 250€ Goal though (which would mean i don't need to put any money in it).
I will make a DS/3DS Marathon where i'll try to play as much DS/3DS games as i Have.
