Possible conflicts of interest.
Several suggestions to meet up and hang out, gifts, appearance of lack of professional distance, and the 2014 articles appear to fall after the Patreon donations from Gaynor to Ellison had begun. The last 2014 article also falls after the Patreon donations from Nordhagen as well. Also hints a friendship may have been maintained with Nordhagen.
