- >"Um... I'm so s-sorry to bother, but, may I come in?"
- >Move aside from the door.
- "No, no. Come on in."
- >She does.
- >Hear a grumbling sound as she walks past you.
- "Is, everything alright?"
- >"O-oh, th-that's kind of... why I'm here."
- >She points at your wall.
- >Look over to see the clock.
- ?See that it's din-din time.
- "Ah, say no more. I can cook something up. Just head ti the kitchen, I'm sure you'll know where it is."
- >"T-thank you..."
- >She walks into the kitchen and sits on a chair.
- >Follow along and head for white freeze rectangle.
- >Look inside refrigerator.
- >See there's nothing, but vegetables.
- >Use most of it (preferably lettuce, carrots, tomatoes, asparagus, eggplant.)
- >Dice them.
- >Pour them all into a boiling water on the stove.
- >Add some spice. (Parsley flakes and cilantro.)
- >Stir for 10 minutes.
- >Turn off the stove and let it cool.
- >While it does, head for the cabinets to get out a pair of bowls.
- >Take them out and set them beside the stove.
- >"Do you need help?"
- >Look over to the table.
- >She isn't there.
- >Feel a light tap on your leg.
- >Look down and see that she's tugging on your jeans.
- "Yeah, just hold a bowl out."
- >She hovers and gets a bowl.
- >Get a ladle.
- >Dip it in and scoop up your creation.
- "Just tell me when to stop."
- >Pour it into her bowl.
- >"T-that's enough."
- >See that it's only half full.
- "Please, Flutters. You must be starving. You can have more."
- >Keep on pouring.
- >"N-no, it's fine. Really."
- >Stop to see it's barely three-fourths full.
- "Alright then."
- >Set it aside on the counter and see her flutter off.
- >Get our own bowl, pour some soup, and head for the dining table.
- >Sit beside her.
- "So?"
- >"Um, there's no spoons."
- >Nice job, fuckwit.
- "Right, my bad."
- >She faintly giggles as you get up.
- >Get the spoons drying on the rack.
- >Head back and hand her a spoon.
- "Here, sorry for my stupidity."
- >She takes it into her hooves.
- >It doesn't slide out.
- >Fucking magic.
- >"Aw, don't say that. You're just silly, that's all."
- >The both of you laugh and eat.
- "Anyway, how are the animals?"
- >For most of dinner, the talk was nothing but her animals.
- >Wasn't even a talk, more like a autobiography of her and the woodland critters she nurtures.
- >Many of them are fine.
- >Some are wounded by a new rose bush near the Everfree Forrest.
- >And Angel... still the brat he is.
- >Refusing to eat his salad.
- >Good thing Flutters is able to take a stand.
- >Such a shame it doesn't work all the time.
- >"That was delicious, you must tell me your recipe."
- "Ah, ah, ah. One can't reveal his ingredients."
- >"Aww poo. I'll just keep on coming in a while to keep on trying it."
- "Seems like you will."
- >Look over to the kitchen clock above the stove.
- >It's 8:30
- >"Oh no, I must go!"
- >She gets up and heads for the door.
- >Hear a slam.
- >Fluttershy forgot to get it unlocked.
- >Head out of the kitchen and to the front door.
- >She her laying down with a silly face.
- "You should start remembering about that lock."
- >She rubs her head as she gets up.
- "Let me guess, you need to feed them too?"
- >She nods.
- >Unlock the door and open it.
- >"Same time tomorrow? If, that's fine with you."
- >You chuckle.
- "Yeah, sure. I'll get some ingredients. You're really running me dry here."
- >She kicks the ground a little with a downcast expression.
- "Don't worry about it. I like company. You should go on home and take care of them. I'll see you tomorrow."
- >Waive to her as she picks up her mood.
- >She runs down the path, while waiving a hoof to you.
- >"Same time tomorrow..,"
- >Whatever the rest of that sentence wasn't hearable, since she's far off.
- >She always does this part.
- >Too bad it's never been brought up by her.
- >You tried to, one time.
- >But for some reason, it made her too awkward.
- >She just made an "Um" and stirred her soup.
- >After that, it was just silent for the entire meal.
- >Maybe someday, she'll have enough courage to tell you.
