  1. You say in a graveled voice, "I think this is everyone that was going to come, Jyson will be about
  2. later I am sure."
  3.
  4. You say in a graveled voice, "He didn't know his little brother at all and I feel that he feels
  5. guilty about that a small bit."
  6. You say in a graveled voice, "I'm very very out of practice in terms of ceremony, so please bear
  7. with me as I get my thoughts together."
  8.
  9. You clear your throat in an attempt to gain the attention of those around you.
  10.
  11. You say in a graveled voice, "You all are here, some friends, some family, we all know that my
  12. youngest is no longer with us and I feel this is something I must do."
  13. A primal urge to march to the shrine of Ascension with your brethren pulls at your limbs.
  14.
  15. You say in a graveled voice, "This room was his, he had found this area under the keep and decided
  16. it was where he wanted to call his own..."
  17.
  18. You have emoted: Hhaos gestures broadly.
  19.
  20. A quiet grotto. (indoors)
  21. Set aside from the main section of the garden, this space appears to be a natural cave broken into
  22. incidentally during the building of some other structure, simply adapted into a living space
  23. afterwards. Soft mosses grow on the floor and form a natural carpet several inches deep. Luminescent
  24. mosses drape themselves down the walls of the cave bathing it in a soft green luminescence which
  25. provides just enough light to see by. A small, black obsidian dais lies in the centre of the room,
  26. raising four feet from the moss carpeting the floor, the smooth dark top swallowing the light. The
  27. exit of the cave faces out into the garden, its door a stone slab which glides easily when moved by
  28. the right hand. A sigil in the shape of a small, rectangular monolith is on the ground. Lying flat
  29. on the ground is a key-shaped sigil. There are 2 crystalline golems here. A massive dire wolf looms,
  30. black fur almost swallowing the light. A fierce tiger prowls restlessly nearby. A spectral owl
  31. swoops here on silent wings. Countess Nezaya Visindi, Witch is here. She wields a long-stemmed red
  32. rose in her left hand. Arbiter Zorina V. Lockwood, Shadowed Educator is riding on a Baarian tiger.
  33. Her features are obscured by a mask of lifevision. Shadow Arbiter Augtavian Lockwood, Page of
  34. Severian. is riding on a massive dire wolf. He wields an elemental staff in his left hand and a
  35. Shield of Absorption in his right. Squire Ardor Crescent-Thorngage, Hammer of Hashan is here. She
  36. wields a Shield of Absorption bearing the arms of Ardor in her left hand.
  37. You see a single exit leading west (open door).
  38.
  39. You say in a graveled voice, "I'm not sure of the significance of it, but I do know that the lad
  40. absolutely loved it and was a bit ecstatic when I told him it was his."
  41. Your heart skips a beat in excitement, will another of the false Gods fall today?
  42.
  43. Nezaya smiles softly and listens.
  44.
  45. You say in a graveled voice, "Thank you, those of you that came as friends for this small ceremony,
  46. I... don't have many left that wake in these days, I feel like a transplant at times, from an age
  47. long past, so it means a lot."
  48.
  49. You clear your throat in an attempt to gain the attention of those around you.
  50.
  51. You pull the jawless, armoured headpiece of A rune-etched mammoth skull helmet from upon yourself,
  52. the whispers of battle ceasing.
  53.
  54. You say in a graveled voice, "Thank you lot for coming. For support of myself and my children both
  55. awake and not. You all have had a positive role to play in not just my youngest's life, but in my
  56. own. I am a lucky man to call you all friends."
  57.
  58. You have emoted: A soft, sad smile tugging at his lips, Hhaos takes a moment to compose himself.
  59.
  60. Zorina fidgets with the candle in her hand, nodding gently as you finishes and offers you a small,
  61. sad smile.
  62.
  63. You have acted: Pulling a black rose from his hair, Hhaos leans over the obsidian dais and gently
  64. places a black rose upon it.
  65.
  66. Nezaya clutches her roses, lowering her chin.
  67.
  68. Ardor's tail flicks back and forth, the only sign of her inner turmoil, and lowers her head in the
  69. direction of the dias.
  70.
  71. You say in a graveled voice, "From the moment I would wake he would send me a tell, 'Murder?' and we
  72. would be off to hunt. I feel we grew close during those last few months pushing him ever closer to
  73. dragon. For a brief decade he held a place in our hearts, and just like he appeared into our life,
  74. he returns to the obscure, we know not the burden he bore that lead to his departure, but he was one
  75. of us, the youngest Thorngage. I offer this, in solace, a symbol of the dark beauty that life gives
  76. to us all, a final gift for you."
  77.
  78. You have emoted: Weaving a small, transluscent dagger into being, Hhaos brings it to his palm
  79. drawing a faint line and allowing blood to pool down and over the blade. He pauses to ponder the
  80. small blade for but a moment before slamming the blade down on top of the small dais, forcefully
  81. embedding the blade in the dark obsidian, impaling the rose into the black obsidian.
  82. say From my blood were you born into this world. Though we knew not for sure who your mother was, we
  83. do know that you were mine. I cannot help but feel like in the end, this is all my doing. Rest well,
  84. son, you've earned it
  85.
  86. You say in a graveled voice, "From my blood were you born into this world. Though we knew not for
  87. sure who your mother was, we do know that you were mine. I cannot help but feel like in the end,
  88. this is all my doing. Rest well, son, you've earned it."
  89.
  90. You have emoted: Hhaos hangs his head down low, a moment of sad reverance for his loss before
  91. pulling a rune-etched mammoth skull helmet back down over his head, hiding his features.
  92. You place the jawless, armoured headpiece of A rune-etched mammoth skull helmet upon yourself, the
  93. elongated helm protruding over your head.
  94.
  95. Augtavian lowers his head solemnly.
  96.
  97. You say in a graveled voice, "I'm not good at these kinds of things..."
  98.
  99. Ardor gives you a compassionate hug.
  100.
  101. You give Ardor a compassionate hug.
  102.
  103. You say in a graveled voice, "But I feel that this will be something he would have liked. A small
  104. piece of what made him, him, here in this grotto he chose to call his own."
  105. A primal urge to march to the shrine of Ascension with your brethren pulls at your limbs.
  106.
  107. A quiet grotto. (indoors)
  108. Set aside from the main section of the garden, this space appears to be a natural cave broken into
  109. incidentally during the building of some other structure, simply adapted into a living space
  110. afterwards. Soft mosses grow on the floor and form a natural carpet several inches deep. Luminescent
  111. mosses drape themselves down the walls of the cave bathing it in a soft green luminescence which
  112. provides just enough light to see by. A small, black obsidian dais lies in the centre of the room,
  113. raising four feet from the moss cappeting the floor, pinned to the smooth top by a small,
  114. translucent dagger, a black rose defies the sands of time, fresh as the day it was picked. The exit
  115. of the cave faces out into the garden, its door a stone slab which glides easily when moved by the
  116. right hand. A sigil in the shape of a small, rectangular monolith is on the ground. Lying flat on
  117. the ground is a key-shaped sigil. There are 2 crystalline golems here. A massive dire wolf looms,
  118. black fur almost swallowing the light. A fierce tiger prowls restlessly nearby. A spectral owl
  119. swoops here on silent wings. Like a puddle of darkness, a black rose lies here. Countess Nezaya
  120. Visindi, Witch is here. She wields a long-stemmed red rose in her left hand. Arbiter Zorina V.
  121. Lockwood, Shadowed Educator is riding on a Baarian tiger. Her features are obscured by a mask of
  122. lifevision. Shadow Arbiter Augtavian Lockwood, Page of Severian. is riding on a massive dire wolf.
  123. He wields an elemental staff in his left hand and a Shield of Absorption in his right. Squire Ardor
  124. Crescent-Thorngage, Hammer of Hashan is here. She wields a Shield of Absorption bearing the arms of
  125. Ardor in her left hand.
  126. You see a single exit leading west (open door).
  127.
  128. Kneeling down, Ardor gently places a silver candle at the base of the dias, blinking back tears.
  129.
  130. You nod your head at Ardor.
  131.
  132. You say in a graveled voice, "That being said, who's up for a quick little hunt, I'm sure you've all
  133. been drug along enough by him to understand why I'm about to this."
  134.
  135. Shadow Arbiter Augtavian Lockwood, Page of Severian. says in an assured, raspy voice, "One of my
  136. favorite qualities about Vecten is he was always down to do something stupid, or reckless."
  137.
  138. Nezaya smiles softly.
  139.
  140. Countess Nezaya Visindi, Witch says in a charming and wicked voice, "May I...?"
  141.
  142. Zorina steps forward and places a silver candle at the base of the dias, lighting it silently before
  143. straightening up.
  144.
  145. Zorina lights a silver candle, spreading pearly light about the area.
  146.
  147. You nod your head at Nezaya.
  148.
  149. Shadow Arbiter Augtavian Lockwood, Page of Severian. says in an assured, raspy voice, "Since I like
  150. stupid and reckless. We got along fine. I'll miss that little murder hobo."
  151.
  152. Squire Ardor Crescent-Thorngage, Hammer of Hashan whispers to Zorina in a pleasant voice, "Thank
  153. you."
  154.
  155. Zorina smiles softly at Ardor.
  156.
  157. Zorina gives Ardor a friendly squeeze.
  158.
  159. You say in a graveled voice, "He even named this little thing..."
  160.
  161. You pet a diminutive skelephant ingratiatingly.
  162. Awkwardly petting one side of a diminutive skelephant's monstrous, skeletal form, the faint sound of
  163. rattling bones presages a shift in her stance, leaning into the gesture.
  164.
  165. Nezaya approaches the dais, slowly laying a long-stemmed red rose upon it. She softly whispers,
  166. "Qavresh na izo, ghurha d'na'vuko, ghura d'na'rha. Xan na'vuko na'xi, Vecten." She touches her
  167. fingers to her lips, and then touches the shrine.
  168.
  169. Nezaya gives you a compassionate hug.
  170.
  171. Countess Nezaya Visindi, Witch says in a charming and wicked voice, "A hunt seems like a fitting
  172. tribute."
  173.
  174. You grin mischievously at Nezaya.
  175.
  176. You ask in a graveled voice, "MURDER?"
  177.
  178. Countess Nezaya Visindi, Witch says in a charming and wicked voice, "It's what Vecten would want."
  179.
  180.
  181. Arbiter Zorina V. Lockwood, Shadowed Educator says in a softly accented voice, "He was always down
  182. to murder Bella or someone fun."
  183.
  184. You say in a graveled voice, "He only ever slew Belladonna."
  185.
  186. You say in a graveled voice, "So she seems most fitting."
  187.
  188. Zorina nods her head emphatically.
  189.
  190. Leaving the shrine itself with the simple offerings, Nezaya starts decorating the whole of the area
  191. with her tributes.
  192.
  193. Nezaya lays a large armful of roses around the raised dais.
  194.
  195. Nezaya gives Ardor a compassionate hug.
  196.
  197. You say in a graveled voice, "Thank you, Zorina and Augtavian, your friendship was unique and I
  198. won't go into the details, but I know you were kind to him."
  199.
  200. Zorina embraces you with great ardour.
  201.
  202. Arbiter Zorina V. Lockwood, Shadowed Educator says in a softly accented voice, "Thank you for
  203. everything."
  204.
  205. You say to Nezaya in a graveled voice, "And to you, Nezaya, for being here for this moment and
  206. adding your own little touch."
  207.
  208. Countess Nezaya Visindi, Witch says in a charming and wicked voice, "He was a good one, and is and
  209. will continue to be missed."
  210.
  211. Arbiter Zorina V. Lockwood, Shadowed Educator says in a softly accented voice, "Yes, he will be."
  212.
  213. You embrace Ardor with great ardour.
  214.
  215. Ardor leans on you, seeking consolation.
  216.
  217. You say to Ardor in a graveled voice, "Back to being the youngest, kiddo."
  218.
  219. You pet Ardor very nicely.
  220.
