  1. This is a long-overdue thread, but it's one I feel I need to make.
  2.
  3. I will do everything I can to thoroughly explain this entire situation. If I make mistakes along the way, I apologize beforehand.
  4.
  5. So, people like 3dsboy08, DefCon, and other reputable members have made threads on Proxo accusing us of 'indirectly' affecting users with malware.
  6.
  7. Point #1 - 3dsboy08 acts like Proxo is the only exploit that does this and that link shorteners are nothing but 'malicious'
  8.
  9. I want to make this abundantly clear, what Proxo is accused of is not exclusive to only us.
  10.
  11. Some examples for the link shorteners are Sirhurt trials & virtually any half-decent consistently maintained free exploit. using Link shorteners on Key-Systems is something that has been in practice for many years, and not much has been said about it at all because it's simply not as bad as 3dsboy08 exaggerates it to be. For example, everything on the link shorteners is completely optional. You are not forced to enable notifications or to install/download anything to go through the link. It is entirely the user's choice. On top of that, the notifications shown are rarely malicious, and if so, are to be reported to Linkvertise/AdFly (or whatever the link shortener is) and the content will be taken down if found malicious.
  12.
  13. So why did Proxo randomly get targetted for this when it's regularly practiced in the entire free exploit community already? I would love to know the answer.
  14.
  15. Point #2 - 3dsboy08 points out the fact that InstallUnion (our monetized installer) includes 'malware' and or 'adware'
  16.
  17. Before explaining this, I want to explain what these installers really are. These installers install your desired program (in this case, Proxo) and through the process provide offers to certain third party software installations. These offers are completely optional and are very easy to read and understand that you have a choice to decline them. If accidentally accepted, the user is at fault going through the installer too fast (or ignoring text) without paying proper attention.
  18.
  19. One of these main offers is 'PremierOpinion' - upon installation, this software is installed to your device and starts 24/7 logging non-sensitive data such as purchasing info, basic geographical info & browsing info. All of the logged data is listed on PremierOpinion's website (and on the offer itself). This data is anonymized & sold off to companies for advertisement research purposes. This helps reflect on market trends and tells companies what they should do to maximize profits. They purchase this info which is not used maliciously and we get paid per install of this software to be installed to your computer. The data logged by this software also follows Data Privacy laws and is approved by trusted sources. On top of all of this, if you're ever unsatisfied and decide you no longer want this software on your computer, it is VERY easy and simple to remove just like any other program.
  20.
  21. Adware is absolutely not included in this installer and you will not be infected as a result of any of the offer installations.
  22.
  23. Adware by definition is 'software that automatically displays or downloads advertising material such as banners or pop-ups when a user is online'. Proxo does NOT include such software.
  24.
  25. Point #3 - the key system shouldn't even be on there because Proxo is nothing but 'skidded' & pasted
  26.
  27. Believe it or not, we put more time into Proxo than any other mainstream free exploit. We have tons of scripts that our users are very satisfied with that are developed by me, along with a module that (is not Axon) which users are also very satisfied with. This module is made by GreenMS02 which is what powers our exploit script execution, which is superior over any Axon Paste due to it having a lack of memory leaks, great stability, functions like 'require' that are not seen on any other free exploit & more. Proxo has a key system for a reason and that is to support developers like Me, Ringarang, GreenMS02 & anyone else that has helped with Proxo for the time they put in. Proxo is not comparable to other exploits that are simply Axon, basic UI & pasted scripts with silly useless features. Proxo has an actual standard of decent quality for being a free exploit.

  29. The general part

  31. I want this to be abundantly clear, I do not use profits from this program for anything stupid. I don't come from a rich family, I am not greedy, and I am simply your average young guy that has many dreams & ambitions. I got into Proxo a few months ago after years of experience in this community along with exploiting experience from previous projects such as Pain Exist & others. My goal is to collect as much as I possibly can from this community in a respectable manner for as long as I can and then invest it into my dream career.

  33. In the case of any questions, please let me know. I'll answer with a reply.
