Jack Van Burace Might I have a word with you, sir?

Ike [Vanguard]: Yes of course.

Jack Van Burace I am rather curious about Vanguard... Why is it that there is so much hostility right now against such a prestigious group?

Ike [Vanguard]: "I'm not sure to say myself..I suppose the Syndicate are valued in some way."

Jack Van Burace scratched the back of his head, adjusting his hat with his other hand. "Hmm... You think?"

Jack Van Burace If I might say so myself, Syndicate aren't that strong to begin with... But that's just my impression.

Ike [Vanguard]: "They are massed in numbers..That alone is enough for some evil conquest."

Jack Van Burace Perhaps so... You can grasp their evil intent by staring at some of their members, that is for sure.

Jack Van Burace reached into the pocket of his trench coat to pull out a small object; a crest of some sorts. "Either way..." he added. ".. I am not one to sit by idly when things like this happen. I was hoping to assist Vanguard in this... skirmish, war or simply a battle?" Truly, Jack did not know entirely what was going on, but his personality did not allow him to remain stagnant.

Ike [Vanguard]: "Your aid would be greatly appreciated in our time of need. Certainly you see that the realm we protect completely turns on us.. Either way, we must protect them whether they remain blind or not."

Jack Van Burace nodded, pocketing the crest once more. "I am part of an elite force of swordsmen. We are masters of the Fast Draw technique." Jack informed. "I have seen it which is why I am offering you my assistance. And yes, we must. It is a rather noble goal if I may say so, sir."

Ike [Vanguard]: "I am glad you can see through the cloud that shrouds everyone else...I take your offer with much honor, friend. I hope to fight beside you."

Jack Van Burace smiled and took a single step forward, extending his left hand with the palm open as he nodded towards the man. "Very well. I promise not to let you down, my friend. My name is Jack Van Burace. What is yours?"

Ike [Vanguard]: " I am Ike of the Vanguard.. I've no other title. " ; His right hand meets Jack's left to shake, he smiles allowing their gazes to meet. ;

Ike [Vanguard] left the room. (Logged out)

Ike [Vanguard] joined the room.

Jack Van Burace nodded. "Understood..." As he was shaking hands with Ike, the right hand's fingertips of the Fast Draw swordsman reached for the hilt of his sword. Drawing the sword in one quick motion while pulling the form of Ike closer to himself, Jack sliced through the neck of the man with relative ease. A gaze that he would remember; the gaze of a noble man.

Jack Van Burace - Taking a step back as blood began to gush out from Ike's wound, the swordsman turned around as his golden hair was caressed by a soft breeze. His trench coat moved fluidly with him and with a few steps, he disappeared off in the distance. "Mission complete..."
