- TO DO:
- as usual, compare with full games and other regions. Also play with Cheat Engine

- Croc 2
- 09745690:
- Cheat Menu..Position Bar....Infinite Lives..Extra Heartpots.Add 100 Crystals....Music Select....Credits Cheat...Magazine Cheat.. Activated.. Deactivated
- A cheat menu in the demo. What's the magazine cheat? It doesn't appear on any cheat website so maybe its removed?
- 09745760:
- End of Croc 2 Demo...Croc 2 Demo, in %s mode, timeout after %d seconds.
- I guess the demo ends after a certain amount of time. I've never notice cause I always finished the demo before this mysterious timer ticked down to zero.
- 097457F0:
- Running version %s\%s[%s]...May 25 1999.14:17:44....DemoPAL.
- Build date of this demo version. Croc 2 came out June 30, 1999 to NTSC regions and 3 August 1999 to PAL regions.
- 09745860:
- Cheat Menu Active...Magazine Cheat Menu Active..Press X to play
- More evidence that you can activate the cheat menu in the demo. I should test the cheat menu for the demo.
- 09746990:
- Level Select....Tribe %d....Level %d....Boss %d.Secret %d...Intro %d....Map %d..Return
- A level select menu, even though Croc 2 has hub worlds and not a level select like Croc: Legend of the Gobbos.
- 09746A50:
- Edit Inventory..Binoculars %d...Keys %d.Clockwork Gobbos %d.Purple Gummis %d....Blue Gummis %d..Green Gummis %d.Heartpots %d....Total Crystals %d...Return..Select Hub..Hub %d..Cheat Mode..Inventory Edit..
- Inventory edit menu. Is this part of the cheat menu? I should check.

- A bunch of scripts I think. Just listing this stuff in case it becomes relevant later on.

- There are some sounds in the CROCII.DAT file that aren't used in the demo but I know are used in the full retail game. Are there any only used in the demo? Are there any that aren't used in both the demo and the full game?
- Example:
- using PSound.exe program on CROCII.DAT
- sound 20 = the sound the worm in Croc 1 makes when it pops out of the well. Does it appear in this game?
- sound 81 sounds garbled and doesn't sound like in either game (unless its used in the demo for selecting a blocked option

- Net Yaroze
- There are two Net Yaroze games on this demo disk; Opera of Destruction [OPERA.FPC] and Time Slip [TIMESLIP.FPC], but in the DATA/CONTENTS folder on the disk has a third file: POKER.FPC. It isn't listed in the CONTENTS.TXT file in the previous folder, so it wasn't intended to be played, but why include it on the disk? Maybe it was supposed to?
- Time Slip
- TIMESLIP.FPC
- From 0003A7C0 to 0003B0F0 there is developer text or something. Nothing too special in it.
- from 0010C290 to 0010C7B0 is a list of on-screen messages, mainly to do with death scenarios. They likely all are used but I want to be sure.
