I mean... they probably made it uncookable because tropical fish are the fish a lot of people keep as pets and this is largely a children’s game so... maybe they didn’t want kids to make a connection. Or maybe they did it because the kind of tropical fish they have in the game aren’t sustainable food sources. Or maybe they did it cause they felt like it.

Well its not that small nor is it that simple
Depending on the extent of how much you want this fish to be cooked it could take much longer than the very lowball estimate I gave

And you gotta account for opening up a server just to test the feature and make sure it actually works, work out any existing issues you might’ve caused, then create your pull request to attempt to get it submitted to the actual plugin which might require someone else test it to approve it (I don’t know the actual system for approving PRs).

Heatcontrol previously allowed you to cook all types of fish into cooked fish
except for salmon
which turned into salmon
