"Ohtli. Now. Now I need your help. It's time for an exorcism. Everyone else. Get. Back." Thera's eyes shine bright, and this portion of the square is engulfed by an azure light. Ghosts, wisps, and spirits swirl around the woman- chanting as if this were a ghost Opera.

"I'm going to rip that thing out of him, and I'll need you to banish it." She wastes no time in taking the form of a specter, floating towards Laddie...

And shoving her ethereal hand directly into his chest, aiming to grasp the spirit in question.

Ohtli begins to move the finely polished raiment of arcanium from her cloak; she keeps it close to her heart since the last ritual. It felt...right. The Elder moves up beside where Thera floats.

[15:14] The Elder is on standby- it is the young Spiritmancer's rodeo. Her city, her captive. She can respect that much. But in one hand she clutches the polished arcanium mask with its feathered raiment and the sparkling gem set in its forehead.

[15:15] Declan was not the type to actually say no to a fight, even if it meant that he would have to get his hands dirty. When the fight started, he was truly in control of the situation and even went the extra distance in literally beating him around the head with the cane. Challenging him, even in sickness proved to be a fruitless endeavor.

However, in that same regard, the sickness was taking it's toll. His movements were slowing and his mana was taking the full effect, only to find himself being blasted back by floods of water, tornados, and even the occasional typhoons that ripped and shred at the clothing of his body. Alas, this only proved that he shouldn't be fighting.

However, in the last best case, it was shown that even in sickness, Declan was still able to do the damage that he was doing at the cost of his entire mana being much, much more straining on his entire body. And with a single crack of his nature whip, and a crack of his water whip, and a single step that raised the entirety of the Earth, he windled and weakned Cael to the point that he was able to get in close.

Eyes squinted.

All of his mana pouring into one mighty pimp cane and BREAKING it over the head of Cael.

He fought well, but he was stronger.

"Like. I. Said." Declan released a cough, letting some of the blood from over straining himself come to fruition. His gaze getting blurry, and his movements starting to show signs of tire, on the break of falling.

"Do. Not...go in Dawn's cave...do not..put yourself in danger...retard."

The last word was as important as everything else, and Declan soon found himself falling backwards on to the pavement, not knocked out, by drifting out of consciousness and back as he tried his hardest to get right back up.

But let a murderer roam freely 'round here? Next to your own children?" Laddie would pause briefly, he was somehow shocked but also very amused by this.

Traveling in groups, acting like a pack of rabid dogs, picking of children as opposed to taking the risk of confronting an actual challenger.

The fact that you stood your ground against someone like Niklaus? Without a war pushing you to do so? Puts you leagues above Sors in my eyes. So, while you probably don't give even the slightest fuck, I can at least respect that you aren't...

As she speaks, the room attains a sudden chill. Again, her spectral hand reaches forth, willing to use force should he resist. "I see this ending poorly. I see you refusing to change. I see you attempting to take the same path, refusing to use this is a means to change- but I hope, with every fiber of my being, that you prove me wrong."

Ethereal chains spring forth from the hand of this woman, and with the very chains that keep Shai's temper in check- they dig deep into Laddie's body. While there is no pain, yet, he could feel the unnatural invasion. Each tunnel within his mana circuits is searched, leaving no room for the spirit to hide.

"Ohtli. Banish it the moment I pull it out."

[15:43] The Drakan can only nod. Whatever has needed to be said? It's already been covered. She doesn't tend to be one for overstating points.

Better this is in private. The Elder holds the treasured mask at the ready and quickly and carefully dons it. After all these years it still fits perfectly.

The divine mana of the raiment infuses her. Scales climb up from her arms to along her neck and cheeks and her wings stretch and spread. Claws grow sharper and, above all, her attunement to the Serpent grows stronger.

To show she is ready her taloned hand stretches out, wrapped in tongues of heatless blue-green flame.

A faint smile would slip through his features, lilac hues locked on the Oracle of Levengard. He resisted of course, just a little but it was pointless, he was collared and under Niklaus' curse. Each movement was painful to him, to be coated in holy magic when the blood of an Archon runs through your veins, when the very essence of the Void is plaguing you… was true torture.

Yet he smiled at her. "So when I fell in love with someone I'll never be able to hold, never be able to touch or even live with. I was shocked to hear that people were now calling me a disappointment, a betrayer, a necrophiliac… a child-lover when I never even done anything wrong. Yet, they all assumed the worst and turned on me. Everyone I've been nice with in the past, helped, were now calling me a disgusting monster."

A tired and weak chuckle would escape his lips, dried skin falling off from his neck to reveal blackened flesh.

The thing within Laddie was quickly caught by Thera's etheral chains and slowly being dragged out, revealing an etheral being with the form of an amalgamation of flesh and eyeballs. Laddie silently watched the scene unfolding before his eyes, having no apparent reactions of having all his blessings stolen from him.

Soon he'll really be nothing… just a frail, frail human.

[16:07] In this state patience is not necessarily a virtue the Elder possesses. She knows the presence of the evil spirit, she sees it, and she is compelled to do one thing and one thing only.

Get rid of it. But she waits, waits until the right time for Thera to yank the thing free for a cleaner expulsion from this plane.

She doesn't see the sweet Lad at this moment, child of Ezmara's Chieftain, once beloved visitor to the Hold. There is only the task at hand, the spike of adrenaline, the desire to fulfill the Serpent's wishes.

Once the spirit is restrained she acts with preternatural swiftness. One of her clawed hands digs into the flesh of the opposite harm, lacking the finesse of her usual knife-work, and digs deep to draw fresh lifeblood. As soon as it comes into contact with her talons it, the blood is fuel for the ethereal fire that enshrouds them. It grows brighter, fiercer, and she draws her hand through the air like a painter might draw their brush over a canvas.

Her hand makes a final slash downward, and the turquoise fire remains in the air in the wake of the motion. From the opposite side she makes a pushing motion with her palm; what was once a thin line drawn widens to accommodate the passing of something larger. A great spirit, the ghost of a feathered dragon, passes through the portal with its jaws open wide.

It swirls, it twists through the air, then devours the corruption whole before bellowing and careening back into the rift from whence it came.
