Senior Serverless DevOps Engineer- Python

Major Responsibilities

SUMMARY

We’re looking for a Senior Serverless DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team. This person will build and maintain existing API models. This individual should be capable in or willing to learn multiple programming languages as well as AWS cloud scale architectures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Build and Maintain REST APIs in an AWS Environment
• Build cross-project reusable libraries for internal use

• Familiarity with running web services at scale
• Systematic problem solving approach, coupled with a strong sense of ownership and drive.
• Experience working in a Unix/Linux environment
• AWS Experience (API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, SES, S3, and CloudSearch) are a Plus
• Docker Experience
• Kubernetes Experience
• Strong Communication Skills
• Understanding of web-based products and typical components
• Able to work in a fast-paced but casual environment
• Advanced critical thinking skills

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred and 5-7 years relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

• AWS Developer Associate & AWS Devops Professional Cert
