  1. Let me preface this with a note: I barely consider myself pubstar material after getting knocked down a few pegs playing with a team a while back. So most of this stuff is simply going to be edited, not written by me. Direct your hatred towards my Blaziken pictures and RS use, instead.

  8. -http://pubcomp.com/ is a new one that might be in competition to TF2lobby.

  10. -However, as with all comp shit, you'll probably have to have some word-of-mouth and a try out, so don't get your Pubstar Pants™ on just yet.

  12. -The good thing about lobbies is that they have extremely detailed match stats and you can see what you are doing wrong and what you can do to improve that.

  18. -Pocket: This is someone that the Medic constantly hangs onto. It's his job to protect the Medic. Usually a Soldier.

  20. -Roamer: Usually a Soldier whose job is to provide recon and focus on disrupting the other team's pocket. An all-around handyman of sorts. Needs to be good at rocket jumping/moving in general.

  22. -Calls: What the Medic should be doing. You’re the repository for information for your team, and you’ll likely end up making a lot of decisions about pushes.

  28. -Granary
  29. *When getting to mid, the left side is the most popular since you don't have as much to watch however the choke point is great for enemy scouts. Also CONSTANTLY look up at the crates, Soldiers love to bomb in on Granary. Watch for stick traps. I've been killed by more sticky traps on Granary than all the other maps combined.

  31. -Badlands
  32. *I personally try and get out of house because that place is a death trap. If you do stay inside watch the window to your right and entrance to you left. If you do get out watch for snipers and sollies bombing in. On the spire, rotate your Soldiers, one jumps up the other comes down. If both Soldiers are up, they're doing it wrong. Also watch for snipers on your way to mid.

  38. -Heal order: Jump first and pick up the Demo as he will be stickying towards the door, I then heal both Soldiers before picking up the Demo again before he makes his big jump out, then flashing the Scouts to their full buff. Then quickly back to pocket and stay with your pocket until you meet up with the roamer ahead. If done properly you should have around 35~% uber or 55% kritz.

  40. -When roaming, always go for the height advantages and ambush the other team. Try to make them pop or get a pick and get the fuck out of there. But know your fights so you don't get picked off and nullify your own pick.

  42. -Spam rockets at chokes for maximum cool.

  44. -Stay by the Medic when he's gonna' pop so that you can get the flash and rocket jump away.
