1. Hi,
2.
3. Really disappointed about this decision. I do want to point out how you could have simply reached out to me about the issue with the PMs allegedly "promoting metagaming". The idea of the PMs was that I'd try to help newer players create characters with motives and reasons behind joining the said organization because I believe that there are people who come for certain aspects of the roleplay server and rather than push it away I wished to embrace it.
4.
5. I do not understand the logic of having a Los Santos Roleplay Server be based on real life when it's called Los Santos. But that is another thing you could have contacted me privately about to amend. I have always been open to conversation and I'm willing to change whatever needs are to make the faction work with whatever you need.
6.
7.
basing an entire faction on kidnappings is not going to contribute to the server and only cause further conflicts with our standards
8. Clearly, you haven't read the thread. The point of Davis GANG is to take from the rich and hand the money back to the community, while the rich steal from the poor communities. I was always under the impression that as long as your characters have development and motives you could do anything that's realistic for people to do, but with the way you're putting it, it sounds like I can only do things other people have done in real life and just imitate real life without trying anything else. Not to mention Human Trafficking is a very lucrative business in America employed by many illegal organizations.
9.
10.
the kidnapping is executed through powergaming
11. Could you point out a single example of powergaming, please. We went the extra mile that no one else does by actually doing the background checks and getting the information through legitimate means - we had an informant who told Jayson about Chelsea Luft. In fact she's one of the clients who wanted her murdered, but Jayson is trying his best to avoid doing that by any means nessesary.
12.
13.
your associates can afford to drive sports cars on their day to day life in which case, why would they need to kidnap anyone and risk 25 to life in prison over money in the first place?
14. Kidnappings make a lot of money, just because someone drives a sports car doesn't mean that they are financially stable.
15.
16. If we focus our earning on something different, would we be able to keep the thread up? I do not have any intention of keeping the roleplay standard down, but I feel like you could of communicated with me before taking any drastic action like this. We didn't break any server rules and yet we're having our faction thread taken down because it will do what, "negatively impact server's athmosphere"?
17.
18. I do not think for a second that a criminal organization that has motives and plans out each and every single one of their operations will do that. I think frankly you're being too strict here and that there were other ways to handle this.
19.
20.
Your thread will be archived in a restricted access section of the forums due to the high amounts of trolling/flaming it received.
21. Doing this will only lead to more people purposefully trolling just so that they can get faction threads shot down. The trolls won. You let them win, you fed them. It is not at all our fault that people went on my thread and started trolling it without even looking in how much effort I put into creating the faction.
22.
23. What steps do I have to take the make the faction work with your regulations, because I ran through Faction Expectations thread and it seems like it complied with all the written rules. But I'm not stranger with being punished for something that isn't a written rule that I previously agreed to follow, so let me know what I need to do.
24.
25. Best regards,
26. Userone
