Geomancers,
	I come to you today to announce my contention of the Earthen Ire. It is sad times when a guild leader falls into inactivity. It leaves a gaping hole in our leadership that must be filled.
	I believe that I am both ready, and capable to step up and fill the position. I believe I have proven myself a loyal, and able combatant in the past, both in my long tenure as a member of the Ur'Guard, and more importantly, as the Ire's Hammer, Protector of the Geomagi.
	The position of Champion is not only one of martial prowess, but an ability to teach, and administer the Stone Path. For those who know don't know my past, I have extensive history as a Secretary, Undersecretary, and a Professor. I possess both the patience, and the experience required to instruct our newer members, and, I hope, the enthusiasm to get them involved.
	I have spoken with Akyaevin about some changes that we both felt were needed, and I plan to enact them. Frankly, combat training in the guild is greatly lacking, and needs to be, if not mandatory, then greatly encouraged. As such, in addition to making the challenges of the path more accessible to those who wish to fight casually, I plan to make the rewards more desirable.
