  1. Are the rights and freedoms of Canadians Protected?
  2.
  3. Is the way the government structure rights and legal rights fair? In my opinion it is because it keeps the country organized. The rights and freedoms of youth are especially protected because of the Youth Criminal Justice Act. It can help young people who have commited crime get a second chance, instead of just getting a criminal record. The way bills are passed is fair, since it is passed down by many groups and voted and debated on. The charter of rights and freedoms assures everyone has rights and freedoms in canada.

  5. The youth criminal justice act is very sensible and straight forward. It can help you people who have commited crime get back out in he world. They make sure they are set to get back into the world. They get counciling and get helped from advocacy groups. It can keep young people out of trouble. It can scare them out of doing bad things, knowing that they could be in prison in the near futrue. It keeps people from the ages 12-17 out of trouble and is most likley very effective. Since it was introduced youth crime rates have dropped. It can also give young people a second chance. They don't always get a criminal record. Depending on the severity of the crime you might just get a warning, or a call home to your parents. It gives people a chance to see the world instead of being barred back by a criminal record.

  7. The bill making section of the government structure is well organized. It is passed down and voted on by many brnaches of the legislative branch. It is proposed passed down sometimes changed and then passed. This makes sure everyone has there opinions out. Becuase of this it can see many opinions and make room for changes. It is voted in many places, sometimes in public. It can be suggested for change based on the opinions of all the people voting on it. This way it sees everyones opinion and then it can be changed to fit the liking of everyone. It can go back and be changed cause of this. After all the opinions are in it is passed down and voted on, again, and again untill it is perfectly fit. Then it is presented infront of the supreme court. After that it is passed by either the Queen, or the Governer General.

  9. The Charter of Rights and Freedoms meets the needs of all Canadians. For example everyone 18 and older has the right to vote. This way true opinions are put through in votes instead of bias or bandwagon opinions. This way they know that every person knows what they are doing when it comes to voting. You have the right to free speech. You can voice your opinions infront of others, offensive or not (hopefully not offensive). YOu can say what you need to say and what you think about something. This way everyones opinions are known, and communications are alot better that way.

  11. Canada is one of the most freecountries in the world. Most people all over the world come here to live cause of freedoms. There is more rights, freedoms, second chances and organization in the government than anywhere else. The reason our rights and freedoms are protected is because they're checked over and made sure to fit people's needs, and so our rights and freedoms are protected.
